LED base a must for clear image.
Everything from ordering, to customer service questions, to receiving the crystal was a good experience. The transfer of the intended image on the photo to the crystal turned out beautifully. However, I recommend not skipping on the LED base to save money. The image does not appear as clear as it is shown in the promos. And, actually, it is hard to see unless you angle it right in the light.

Regarding the light base, it does indeed enhance the beauty of the crystal. We always recommend purchasing the Light Base along with the crystal, especially if you plan on placing it in an area where the design might be hard to see, considering that the crystal itself is transparent, and the etching is entirely white. The Light Base lights up the engraving and makes it much easier to see the image. We like to say that it gives life to the crystal.
However, we apologize if it has been so difficult for you to see the engraving as you mentioned. We regret that you didn't contact us regarding this issue before posting a review. I got someone else's Christmas gift
I liked it, but it was too late. I ordered in plenty of time for Christmas and recieved a delivery on Fri before Christmas. Unfortunately, it was someone else's order. I tried to reach them to fix it, but I couldn't. It took them until a week later to remake my order and deliver it.
