Good people, smooth & transparent process - highly recommended

My experience with A1 ortos was exceptional. Tony was on hand at all times to provide in depth detail and helped throughout every stage of the purchasing journey. Highly recommend.

I walked in to the showroom with no interest in purchasing a car straight away. After taking interest on one of the cars I dealt with Jay to get more information. After 20 minutes I’d agreed to buy the car. Jay was very trusting and didn’t push me to buy the car (which was a positive for me). After dealing with Jay, Tony finalised all the paperwork with me. Tony explained everything in great detail so I had no doubts. Couldn’t recommend this company, jay and Tony enough

Recently purchased an SVR from A1 Ortos. Tony was super helpful with the whole process and the car was presented beautifully. Would very much recommend these guys. Friendly staff and an immaculate showroom.

We collected our BMW x5 on Friday service was amazing, we had the pleasure of Jay helping us decide on the car wasn’t pushy or made to feel under pressure, we left the show room with a new friend. We put the deposit down Wednesday viewed the car Thursday and he made sure we have it Friday just in time for our wedding. Thank you would highly recommend.

I have changed my review from previous (2 stars) as my experience was not a great one to be honest!
Excited to purchase my new car, but is slowly went down hill and did feel let down.

Less than 24 hours the car had lots of flashing error messages on the dashboard. I rang the office on numerous occasions and depending which sales person who spoke with, each one gave a different solution.

However finally, they came and collected the vehicle and returned it 6 days later (full valeted) and since then I have had no issues and the car is running like a dream.

Be aware part exchange price on my Immaculate Equoke was low despite low mileage and well looked after. I would suggest getting a fairer price elsewhere then buy a car from A1otros if you can.

My review is based on the outcome of my dream car, which is why I have not altered it as promised.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

Avoid A1 Ortos at all costs. Me and my partner, bought a car here in August 2025 and it turned out to be a complete disaster. Within days, an independent garage confirmed multiple serious faults — heavy corrosion to the subframe and chassis, worn bushes on all arms, exhaust problems, and more. These are major safety concerns that should have been picked up at the most recent MOT, along with the A1 Ortos inspection.
The dealership knew about some faults and failed to disclose them, then tried to fob us off with a token “goodwill” payment instead of taking responsibility. We’ve since obtained written evidence that these problems could not possibly have developed in just 30 days. The DVSA has been informed about the MOT, and we are now preparing legal action to get our money back.
They sold us an unsafe car, ignored our rights under the Consumer Rights Act, and forced us to put our two young children in a vehicle that should not been on the road. The car is now sat on our drive, not roadworthy and we are now having to hire cars to get to A to B.
They're are an absolute joke! Their behaviour has been disgraceful and we will be proceeding with legal action against them.

Recently bought my ranger rover velar from A1, we dealt with Kenny and he was literally amazing. The best car sales person I’ve come across, no hard sell. Everything was sorted on pick up of the car and my part ex was dealt with perfectly.

You have a new customer for life Kenny! Thank you! I will be telling all my friends and family about my experience.

From start to finish the whole process was professional and second to none.
Staff were knowledgeable and helpful.

After spending 10 months searching for our dream car,the end of our search was at A1Ortos to view a low mileage full service Range Rover.
All of our dealings were with Tony and Dylan who both displayed fantastic customer service taking time to explain all the cars features in the showroom and on the test drive.
As with all used cars there are always one or two things that need addressing as I am extremely fussy and demanding,but every point I raised was completed to my satisfaction and a very high standard on collection.
Both Tony and Dylan were always available to give me an update on how the car was progressing and would always return my call if unavailable.
On collection Dylan spent over 2 hours explaining all the cars features and specification so I'd be confident driving the 50 miles home,he then spent time contacting the DVLA to Tax the vehicle and complete the Private plate transfer.
A1ORTOS have some amazing high end cars and I would have no hesitation in recommending
A1ORTOS as one of the leading used car dealers in the Northwest.
