After about 5 minutes and being hung up on thrice I managed to get through and spoke to a lovely lady, sadly the advice they had couldn't be more basic and obvious.

Attended a Webinar on Sickness Absence; was extremely well presented in an easy to understand format and ran by a presenter with a good voice to listen to ( ie. not one that put you to sleep ! ). The information presented was interesting and very useful; all in all one of the best Webinars I have attended - highly recommend!

I attended a great webinar this morning around managing sickness absence at work. It was well rounded and very informative and reiterated and confirmed a lot of our establishments policy and procedures giving a greater understanding of how and why they implemented.

The webinar was very informative overview of the menopause and who it affects, the impact in the workplace, employer’s legal responsibilities and case studies from real experiences. I was surprised how many discrimination cases there were in 2024, 204 opposed to 64 in 2022. The case studies were interesting and also shocking.
It highlighted how the organisation and managers can support staff, understanding, discussing performance sensitively, making reasonable adjustments, flexible working to help with symptoms, record menopause absences separately to other absences, allow time off for medical appointments.

5.87 million of workers are women at the menopausal age, it is important that all businesses are trained, fully understand the H&S risks and support those going through the menopause. A Menopause Policy should be developed that will help with staff to engage and ask for support. The Employment Act 2025 now include menopause under equality, is voluntary but will be mandatory from next Spring for those with over 250 employees and is good practice for those businesses with less the 250.

Excellently handled, very informative session on Mental Health in the Workplace

I have received advice from ACAS for over a decade and find the training programmes and Webinars incredibly useful, Neurodiversity is not a new subject but one that is more prevalent in todays work environment. the webinar gave some great points on how my approach should be tailored to better include neurodiversity in my job role.

Found this free webinar very informative and will encourage other managers in our company to do this as I feel it will be useful for all.

Amazing session

Very poor effort by this company they were fully aware that a recruitment agency owe me wages and failed to retreave anything .I am left £1400 pounds out of pocket.When the employer refuses to pay despite clear evidence ,acas just give up.

I have found the ACAS team very helpful, and the materials they provide are very useful. They offer a wide range of templates, updates, webinars and e-learning courses, many of which are free and easily accessible.

I joined an online webinar and it was excellent. Well organised and the content fully professional.
