Worked for this company and from what i saw i would not recommend them at all. Fitters are all about speed and not quality. Saw a fitter not even screw a toilet down to the floor he put the fittings on so it looked like it was installed correctly. Poor quallity of panalling with finger smeared silicone finish. Absolute cowboys!!

Age-care bathrooms advertises itself as a caring company for those getting older with some disabilities. Its ‘coothy’ brand is built around Sam, the owner who started out building a safe bathroom for his grandmother that did not look like a care home version.
My experience was not good. It was that of a company, largely run by ‘the family’ with little design experience and certainly poor and antiquated computer graphics.
The surveyor but in effect a salesman of the old school (let’s call him B) came and took details of my requirements. I was then sent an estimate by his so called ‘design lady’ with pictures that showed some basic flaws. I asked them to be corrected and the second version came back with an incoherent mash up of the two versions.
B compounded the problem with his complete lack of understanding of technology and inability to listen to the customers genuine concerns. Although I am older than him (with some working knowledge of AI) he was a throwback from the days when he knew best and the customer was effectively either stupid or delusional. He failed to listen and even said some of the distortions in the pictures were ‘reflections’. I had a new kitchen designed over 20 years ago and the computer graphics then were of a better quality.
Fortunately I did not continue to the work stage, realising their inability to listen to the customer. If something needed correction it might have been just a ‘’mirage’.
In my experience this is a company that does not reflect their brand and daily barrages of emails on helpful tips. They clearly need some fresh blood along with better design and technical expertise. Do not be fooled by them.

From the outset, Age Care Bathrooms provided excellent service. Especial thanks to Brian with his initial survey. He listened to us both and gave excellent advice. Mollie in the office was brilliant. We had to delay our booking due to illness and she was so cheerful and patient. We had a very short wait for Ben and Scott to come and replace our bath with an accessible shower and wet room floor. This was done in two days, in a friendly and positive way, very considerately and with no mess at all. We are thrilled with the resulting finish and very happy to give this company 5 Stars and our very strong recommendation.

Age Care Bathrooms are a local company, but that doesn't mean that they are not professional. From the estimate to measuring and then to disinstalling the old bathroom and installing the new one went very smoothly with friendly and knowledgeable staff and colleagues. We would recommend them to anyone.

As we are getting older my wife and I realised our bathroom with the shower over the bath was becoming impractical. We decided to have it made into a shower room. We contacted Age Care and arranged for a quote. A week later Brian came and discussed our needs,what we needed and what we wanted on the walls and floor. He drew a plan which looked just what we needed. The next day we received a detailed quote from Emily with 3d render views of what it would look like .We accepted the quote and three weeks later Lee arrived on time and worked hard for three days transforming our bathroom into a shower room. After a couple of days we noticed the toilet overflow was leaking slightly. I called Age Care and Richard came and sorted it out.
So overall a pleasant experience with Age Care. From people I spoke to via email or telephone (Emily and Mandy) to the people I met (Brian,Lee and Richard). Our tired bathroom has now been transformed into a modern safe shower room.

Due to mobility issues for both myself and my wife we decided that the bath and the shower above it had to go in favour of a wet room. After some online research we found that Age Care Bathrooms had a Which Trusted Trader recommendation so decided to request a site survey and quote from them.
From the off they were excellent responding very quickly with both survey and quote and a detailed plan and time scale of what was required.
The installation date arrived and Age Care duly arrived on time and ready to go. Their fitters, Lee and Ben, were helpful, courteous and informative and very hard working and any disruption was really minimal. Any unforeseen problems were resolved immediately and all debris etc was completely removed. At the end of the day we now have a really lovely wet room that is so much better than what we had before.

I felt right from the start that I was in capable hands. The team showed initiative when something unexpected turned up and always checked during the installation to make sure that everything was just right for me.
The office staff were good too ensuring that everything was going OK.
I would certainly recommend Age Care Bathrooms as I now have a wonderful level access walk in shower.

Very impressed with overall service for our Wetroom conversion. Special mention to installation engineer Harry who did a brilliant job! Also Andy the did a great surveyance. Great quality at a good price.

I had a wet room installed in 4 days there wasn’t a thing left if my old bathroom everything was new Stewart even fitted a new door for me he was such a great guy and cleaned up better than me my bathroom is beautiful after waiting so long I couldn’t get better I would recommend this company to anyone I know it cost more than I intended to pay but was worth it in the end

Excellent installation well planned and efficient with the least disruption. Fully recomend them

Jono completed the wet room in the en-suite shower room in three and a bit days the last bit was the checking, cleaning and polishing
It’s a fabulous job and looks amazing we are so happy with it Jono was so professional and helpful with suggestions along the way

What can I say about the installation of our wet room? The service was excellent from start to finish, and the installation itself was carried out to a very high standard.

Any minor issues following completion were dealt with quickly and professionally, which really shows their commitment to customer satisfaction.

Overall, I would genuinely rate this company 6 out of 5. A huge thank you to everyone involved in making the whole process smooth and stress-free.

UPDATE I did hear back from the sales person Dean, who was very professional, and said that there must’ve been some miscommunication along the line, and I totally agreed with him. He is the only person from the company who has had the decency to address the complaint.
I had such high hopes for this company, but unfortunately they were very lacking in lots of different departments. (I had watched lots of videos online of the owner Sam Davies. And this was my reason for choosing this company)
Dean was the sales person he spent a good couple of hours with me and I made sure that I asked him every question necessary and I also wrote up some notes after my meeting with him. One of my questions was can you make sure that the tiles are removed from my current bathroom because it is very small and obviously if you add boards on top of it, I’m losing space. He assured me that this would happen and I took him at his word.
The design process went quite smoothly, even though it was slower than expected, including delivery of samples.
Once I confirmed things with the girls in the design office who were obviously young and inexperienced I never heard anything else.
I would’ve at least expected an email nearer to the time that the installation would be asking if everything was okay if there was any issues and if everything was okay to go ahead, but I heard nothing for over four weeks from anyone.
On the morning that they were going start the install, Scott turned up in a timely manner. After a few hours Work I realised that he had no intention of removing the tiles from the walls. He was just going to put the boards over the top. I had a chat with him and he said no, he knew nothing about taking tiles off. I then asked him if he wanted to speak to his office or should I. Anyway, Scott spoke to his office. And I received an email from one of the girls in the design office again. And it was to the point of being, very matter of fact couldn’t care less attitude and they told me that they had spoken to Dean and he had said that he had never discussed taking the tiles off of the wall. I did follow with another email. Telling them were they try and call me a liar, and I was honestly disappointed that Dean could bare face lie. I also told them that as an old age pensioner surely they should be giving a telephone call rather than making me keep emailing.
Anyway, Scott agreed to take the tiles off of the wall this went on for over a day with all the mess in the bathroom. That evening I noticed all of the walls the other side of the bathroom, wall in my hall were very badly cracked in numerous places. So when Scott came back in the morning I asked him what we were going to do about it and that I thought that the walls in my hall would need plastering it was that bad. Scott is the only one who has been an ultimate professional out of the whole mess of the wet room installation. He assured me that it would be finished to a standard that would be acceptable to me and to leave it with him. I did email the office again and they said that we told you that we don’t take tiles off the wall and this is what happens.
Anyway, thank God for Scott he continued with the installation he also got his charge hand Owen to come at the end of the week and start repairing the walls lucky enough I had some paint leftover from having the hall decorated recently. They were both very hard-working and saved the day. Scott was not only a very experienced fitter. He also had to take on the job of customer service and customer satisfaction as the office couldn’t have cared less.
I must say, there were a few things like keeping areas tidy and trip hazards out of the way, which were a bit concerning, but overall the installation guys did a good job. They got my two stars. And the office themselves. Would get minus. To be quite honest, I don’t think they’ve got any experienced older members of staff people that know how to deal with customer service, and they seem to have an attitude of deny deny deny deny.
I’m just hoping that they can learn lessons from this whole thing and I do hope that if I have any problems in the future that I can get them rectified because it’s been very concerning that they do not seem to take customers seriously.

The whole experience was fantastic- just as it says on the website from start to finish. Barry arrived on time to measure up and draw up the plans offering advice and guidance with no pressure selling. Our bungalow renovation has been enhanced dramatically with a professional service throughout. The bathroom fitter worked for four days solid informing us each day what was happening and if and when water was being turned off and for how long, always checking if anyone required the toilet before hand. Courteous and clean throughout, removing all waste and working extremely tidy. It was an experience I was dreading but was pleasantly surprised how well it went and even more impressed with the final results. It’s so nice to see my disabled husband use a wet room that was designed for him / his needs specifically whilst having a modern and Fashionable bathroom for everyone to use and admire. Big thanks to a wonderful company would definitely recommend to anyone.
