Just had vinyl flooring laid. Fitter was concerned that moving the washing machine in on the same day would damage it so he arranged for someone from the store to come and out in place the following day.
They were actually store staff and they could not have been more helpful.
Can’t imagine any national store that would do that.

Always been happy with their carpet fitting but the service today was outstanding

So disappointed always brought your marinated mango boneless chicken, today was bad hardly any chicken all fat and tendons barely any meat , not even enough to turn into a stir fry never thought you would turn out like the big shopping centres...have photos to prove...

Many thanks to Lee Gravett at Fakenham Aldiss for his help in our selecting a new sofa. We were not rushed into buying and we were even spent 24 hours thinking about the purchase. The very large selection of sofas on offer at first made our choice very demanding. Lee gave us various options and obviously knew his product and also understood our vision of what we we wanted. We came away very happy.

I purchased an item from Aldiss on line in March which was all very straight forward but then we had some problems with the manufacturer on delivery. Fortunately this was all sorted by Callum who did a great job.
We are very lucky to have an appartment store in Fackenham and they certainly should get all support.

Ordered a mirror from Aldiss and unfortunately it came damaged (chipped glass in multiple spots) which is obviously very poor as it would’ve been noticed before being packed but got packed anyway. However on ringing Aldiss they were very helpful and very apologetic and organised for the damaged mirror to be picked up and a new replacement mirror to be delivered free of charge. Poor that it got delivered with damage that would’ve been spotted but was handled well and speedy after.

I was really reluctant to purchase from this store given the reviews, however as I read them I notice a distinct difference in ratings. For anything from a trusted brand, people had a good experience e.g. Denby. So when I saw the curtains I wanted from Laura Ashley with free delivery and the cheapest price I figured I would give it a go because they had good reviews on other websites.
The curtains arrived within 48 hours of purchase, brand new quality and will packaged. I can't fault anything about my experience.

Decided to buy a mattress from here after a previous issue with the delivery of a mattress I had bought from Dreams. First ever purchase from Aldiss and absolutely the last.
The mattress is awful. Had it less than a month and it it has already lost its support. I now sleep in a dip already. And the edge has virtually collapsed. It certainly wasn't an expensive mattress but at £500 I expected it to last longer than it has. On top of that I was given £40 worth of vouchers which I later realised, when I went to use them, had a use by date of just 3 weeks after purchase. So we're out of date by the time I went to use them 5 weeks after purchase. Unbelievably poor quality product and I wish I had read the reviews before buying. My advice is stay away from this company. I certainly won't be returning.

We knew Aldiss is not John Lewis but expected better than what we got.
1) bought two 'club' chairs. Both damaged at delivery. One box was battered which should have made this obvious. That is if anyone had take time to ensure quality of goods.
2) bought glass topped coffee table and two glass topped side tables. All three arrived without glass. Delivery guys said 'well maybe they don't come with glass'.
On both of the orders we called the store and there was no attempt to rectify. We did get refunds but what we really wanted was our COMPLETE items.
3) ordered special factory made curtains. One set was made to long and had to be taken down and sent back to be remade. 1 month later and 2 phone calls and we still don't know when the curtains will be refitted.
Second set of curtains hang ballooning out. Look ridiculous. We were told they would 'relax'. Nearly 2 months later and not anywhere near relaxed.
Lessons learned and we wont be back.

We purchased a sofa and new bed from this company expecting a business which prides itself on high standards that the items delivered would meet our needs and be the same as the ones we saw in store. The sofa within a week looks worn out flat and so disappointing ( a family of four with medium usage ) . Tthe headboard keeps falling down on the bed it’s marked and actually looks like a return !
just terrible products and awful customer care when we’ve reported it. This company uses their own assessors to adjudicate so clearly a biased service. We’re now looking at replacements from more reputable companies with better quality products and customer care.

Excellent company to purchase from .
Purchased storage x jars 3 in the sale. Arrived very well packaged . One item had an issue with its lid , dealt with very quickly by replacing faulty item and arrived quickly too. Would not hesitate to use Aldiss in line again .

Excellent customer after sales experience - purchased dining room table and chairs had some problems with table contacted Aldiss who rectified this problem straight away - so we are really pleased with their customer service.

Really excellent customer support . Aldiss went above and beyond with sorting my mum's urgent order after she was discharged from hospital. Thankyou.

Buyer beware of stock that is not ready there and then….. but when is furniture ever available in the UK since some people voted Brexit.
Great shop with a great selection of everything. The quality is without faul in all areas of the shop.
Ercol not the speediest of furniture manufacturers but ordered in July possible a December delivery…..
Now comes the sad part.

Just try to avoid having them sort delivery £99 and it would have come two weeks earlier if you collect.
It arrived in their store a week and a half ago. It was picked up yesterday and waiting for the courier to arrange a delivery next week…..
Customer service at Norfolk near Wells branch really needs someone to chat to the team and explain we don’t mind delay so long as we know how it works…..

I felt obliged to leave a review as I almost didn’t order products from this company based on their Trustpilot rating. However they were selling Denby products I wanted cheaper than anywhere else so it was worth taking a risk. I also ordered crystalline glassware. The products have just arrived very well packaged and in perfect condition. My only ‘meh’ is that tracking information was a bit light but delivery time was more than reasonable so I fortunately didn’t need to make any enquiries. I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again.

Felt I needed to write here to correct the record. At time of writing Aldiss have a 2.8 out of 5 rating on Trust Pilot. So I felt I was 'taking a bit of a chance' ordering a £300 Denby dinner set from them, their having the best price on Google at the time. However, their service has been impeccable. I ordered on Sunday night, and received my items the following Thursday (4 days later) via FedEx, which would have been Wednesday if not for a delayed pickup by the Courier. Everything was extremely well packed for crockery in transit, and in PERFECT condition. Really a 5* service. If I had to nitpick, then the only thing I'd highlight would be the v.small delay in communication between order received e-mail on Sunday (which did say "we'll advise once shipped" to be fair), and order dispatch notification on Wednesday. But they're a smallish business with 2 stores in East Anglia. So expecting Amazon-esque communication wouldn't be realistic I think. Being impatient, I actually phoned the store to see what was happening on Wednesday, and the web-sales lady was very polite, professional and efficient, confirming my order was packed and awaiting pickup.

So ultimately I got a great product, at a great price, in great time. What's not to Love. Recommended

Very poor customer care, we purchased a sofa and two chairs from this company and from the outset on delivery they looked warn and poor quality. We contacted the company who arranged one of their own assessors to come and see the items. He recommended using a damp cloth to refresh the sofa ! Which is absurd we can’t do this every time we sit on them. The chap was intimidating when we questioned him as reasonable customers would do with sub standard items. The whole experience has been Very disappointing Aldis, I thought you were a fair and reputable family company we could trust. Instead we’ve been let down and intimidated in our own home.

A wide choice of furniture in the Fakenham shop with knowledgeable, helpful and not pushy, staff. When the deliveries came the staff were pleasant. A couple of niggles were there was a misunderstanding about when full payment should be made and there was a scuff to paintwork as the larger item was tricky to get into the room - easily rectified. Very good was that split delivery was provided at the same price as a single and that the second item arrived more quickly than expected - very welcome.

I ordered some plates, on a user friendly website, which arrived within two days to a rural location. The price was the best I could find. They were superbly packaged and so were in perfect condition. First class service.

We bought a couple of recliner swivel chairs, the Turin model. We didn't want to pay extra to have them assembled by the store, so brought the boxes home to complete.
Ist problem was that being made in China the instructions and illustrations were in very small print. So we made a return trip to find out how to complete step 3. Frustrating, but the store rep was very helpful
Returned home finished first chair, and set about the second with renewed confidence!
Opened the box, everything was there, started assembly. Get to a point where a 60mm bolt and nut are used to secure the the reclining mechanism to the squab.
Nut won't fit bolt! With temperatures rising we phoned the store (Fakenham) Customer services less than helpful, want to know the part number etc. I said 'As we are already part assembled, easiest thing to do is take the same bolt from another model."
Silence. No. can't do that, I will have to refer this and get back to you.
Twenty minutes later still no response. so phone again. Same store, different employee. Wants to go through all the details again, but promises they'll get back to us..
Half an hour later, no call .
Phone up again to say"No matter what we are coming over for the correct bolt."
When we got there a very smartly dressed and coiffured lady produced the bolt, as if she was doing us a favour!
She actually had the cheek to thank us for coming over! No mention of all the other hassles we had with their customer service system. Aldiss may train their staff to be polite to customers, but efficiency is a part of that. We travelled 52 miles that day just to complete assembly of our chairs, and what should have been a pleasure. Because of that lady's attitude it left a very bad taste in our mouths.
