I was sent two bowie knives instead of a pocket knife. I suspect it was political bias against President Trump. These were Trump commemorative knives.
I was sent two bowie knives instead of the pocket knife that I ordered.. Was told by customer service that I was sent the right order. At the time of call to American Mint customer service. I was reading from the original offer from which I ordered. It is clearly for the pocketknife. The customer service I was talking to was dismissive. As a result. I do not have any trust in American Mint. I chose to keep the bowie knives and with reasonable response I would have purchased the pocketknife. By the way I am happy with the bowie knives. They are good Quality This could have been positive if not for your bad customer service representative

You were also sent a Chief Executive bowie knife as an authorized future issue in your collection to preview with no additional obligation to purchase per the terms clearly printed on your order form. The second order you placed in December 2020 was for a Make America Great Again pocket knife. The customer service representative you spoke with on 11/20/20 was not aware at that time that you had also placed an order for the pocket knife. We apologize for the miscommunication. We are usually known for our excellent customer service. We did not receive your second order for the pocket knife until December 2020. American Mint received payment for the two bowie knives in your collection after you decided to keep them. We also received payment for the pocket knife. The tracking data associated with your pocket knife indicates that the item is estimated to be delivered to your address on February 11, 2021. You were only shipped one Make America Great Again pocket knife per your request during your call on 1/12/21. I am pleased to hear that you are happy with the Bowie Knives. I give American Mint 5 Stars. A truly wonderful organization with outstanding personnel handling accounts. The 5th star came down because my last bill pay out did not arrive to the Mint soon enough even though it departed my house the day after it arrived. I realize that Christmas postal traffic can be a problem and that mail reaching your fine Mint might not rapidly get to the office of deposits with two 3 day holiday weekends. I immediately wrote a check to you for another superior purchase and sent my proof that the tardy bill was paid. Now with Friday the day I got the notice it probably will not leave Orlando until after Monday. But, my response is in the mail.

Poor customer experience
I never received an e-mail confirmation of my order, the tracking number I was given when I called to inquire was not valid, and took longer than the 2-3 weeks to be delivered. Was beginning to think it was a con and almost reported it to my bank as such, when the order finally arrived AFTER Christmas.
I was not satisfied with the experience at all, but products were ok.

You called in several times during the time that it was en route to your address. Each time, a customer service representative completely answered your inquiries and gave you a status update on the package's whereabouts. You placed your order around the holidays. Therefore, this may have caused shipping delays in addition to the regular delays that the USPS is currently experiencing. We apologize for this inconvenience. We are happy to hear that you received your products and that you were pleased with their quality. We are known for our high-quality products. We hope that you will give us a second chance.

Recent issues have tainted my opinion of American Mint
I have purchased coins from American Mint for over 18 years. Until recently I have been very satisfied with your company. However, I ordered the “Symbols of Freedom” set in July, 2020. When I received only a partial set, I called AM. This event went on from July through December, back and forth, before it was finally resolved.
I also requested a Donald Trump commemorative coin with specific instructions to NOT send additional coins in the collection. Instead I received an additional coin and a bill for $154 (I believe).
I am taking some time off from coin purchases with the hope that things like this will not reoccur in the future.

Pursuant to the terms of the public offer clearly printed on the order form which you voluntarily marked up and returned to American Mint, you were sent one (1) Head of State commemorative coin as an authorized future issue in the Presidential Roles of Donald Trump Collection to preview with no additional obligation to purchase. You opted to return the item, which we received on 1/11/21. We apologize for any inconvenience you experienced.
