Great customer service which included updates on when they'd arrive.
The new product was brought into the house and placed into position and the old appliance, including the discarded packaging was taken away.
Can't fault it.

Cannot recommend appliances online enough. They are our go to for any appliance. They price match. Their Call Centre is based in Australia and very friendly. The delivery guys are so professional also super friendly and polite. And they can get an appliance to you often within 24 hours.

Ordered a Falmec Polar Evo rangehood ($2,149) on 21 May with a requested delivery of 12 June. Paid in full upfront. The delivery date came and went with total silence — I had to chase them five days later to find out what was going on.
Only then was I told my order is a "proforma" item: Appliances Online holds no stock, my money went straight to the manufacturer, and they simply wait. In other words, they took full payment on day one for a product they had no control over and no date for — and only explained this after the deadline passed.
What followed was three weeks of "we're following up": no ETA, then "approximately 1–2 weeks," then a letter telling me the timeframe was "an estimate only" and refusing any responsibility for the consequences. Those consequences are real: my newly built home cannot pass final inspection over this one appliance, we cannot move in, and the open cavity left for the rangehood has let pests into the house. Their position on compensation: not our problem.
A contract with Appliances Online apparently means Appliances Online's obligations end the moment they've taken your money. Six weeks on: no rangehood, no firm date, no accountability. Matter now going to Consumer Affairs Victoria.
Do not order anything from their "proforma" range unless you're happy to pay thousands upfront for an indefinite wait — and check the fine print they'll quote back at you when the date slips.

This is just a great company to deal with and don't know why you would go anywhere else. From ordering to delivery, it is seamless and they are a pleasure to deal with from the ordering staff through to the delivery guys.

A fabulous service for people who live regionally. I have purchased a washing machine, a dishwasher for home & dishwasher for our property & have found the service & price great. I love that they will price match & also offer free delivery & removal of old appliances. Communication on delivery day is informed by app where u can track the driver & get an accurate delivery time. A very easy process.

Amazing service and products

I’ve used Appliances Online several times and wouldn’t buy from anywhere else. The service is perfect.
Ordered my fridge on Friday it was delivered on Saturday.

I'm giving 4 stars because I have used Appliances Online before for bigger items and they were good. They are losing a star because my recent experience ordering a toaster was a debacle.
Similar to Jay Lee's experience below. I was given a delivery date the day I ordered but I received no email or SMS about the delivery time until an SMS arrived at 7am stating it will arrive that day between 3pm-5pm. So I figured it was safe to go to the cinema(no phone). When I got out at 1pm I had half a dozen missed calls. They had attempted to deliver at 12:30. Got the same response as Jay Lee that it would be another week before it could be resent.
While talking to support they said they were going to send an email and to respond to it giving authority to leave the package if I was not home, which I did do.
A week later, a day before it was due, I get another call stating the re-sending hadn't been handled correctly and they had no stock so they were going to send it from another warehouse via Aust Post. Today I get a notification from aust post stating it will arrive today (no timeframe) and requires a bloody signature. There goes my plans for the day.

They really need a checkbox on checkout for smaller items giving authority to leave the package. Or do some deals with local businesses for a local collection point, at least for moderately sized towns of over 60,000 people like ours....

Excellent service, excellent price. Next day delivery! Communication good too. Can’t do better.

We have been buying applisnces from appliance online for many many years. They have alwsys bern the bext pruce and fantastic custoner .one dau pur washing machine packed up we had a new one delivered and installed the next day. And they took the old one away. Fantastic.

Wonderful customer service.
They went above and beyond when I made an ordering mistake. Rectified it and had a new machine at my home the very next day. Honestly, you never get service like that anymore. I highly recommend.

Ordered a clothes dryer. Had to wait a month for delivery. They called me the day before to say there's no stock. Since they haven't been able to get any stock for ages, they're still selling it even though they can't get stock. So they can't say when it's coming, they offered me another brand of the exact dryer, but not deliver it until later. You think in 4 weeks they'd be able to know if they have got anything in stock, if they ever had or were ever able to get what they were selling.
They're still selling it even though they said they don't know if they'll ever be able to get any, so I've got a 1 choice, to take the other product.
This is disappointing.
It's winter in raining.
Are you allowed to sell things that you don't have?
