Absolute financial fraud. Charged $70 and then another $65. There is no way to cancel.

Do not use this service. You will end up inadvertently signing up for a monthly service. I only knew when I saw a reoccurring 65 dollar charge. They would only refund my most recent payment. I would imagine they get this call 30 times a day. Trying to cancel is a nightmare. To connect you to customer service you get sent a link for a “refunded 5 dollar connection fee”.

Scammer will tell you you need to pay £5 for advice then once paid they take out £27 there and then , also they continue to take money from you. Hard to cancel the subscription avoid!!

This "company", for want of a better description, are a collection of thieves and robbers. Do not go near them for any reason whatsoever. Once they have your card details they will steal money from your account on a very regular basis; Sunday seems to be their favourite day for thieving. I have been in to my local bank and spoken to them about this matter, and the bank put a block on any further payments to them. Believe me, it hasn't made the slightest difference. They are STILL getting through somehow, and they are still removing money from the family budget. The only solution is to cancel and replace your card, which I have now done. STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKS.

This a complete Scamming business. They are total BS!!! NEVER USE THEM-PERIOD!! They say it's $5.00-that is a LIE!!!!!! They start you a membership for $70.00 a month. You talk to AI to cancel--just read below--That's another $39.00. Total BS!! Cancel or lock your bank card-This is a SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If i could give NEGATIVE stars, there aren't enough to give. DO NOT USE!! Extremely poor advice received from them, then, they charged me $70 when it was advertised as $5!!!! Next, the following month they tried to charge my card $65 , I'm thinking for a membership, which I NEVER authorized!!!!I had to cancel my card!! Totally fraudulent site. Again DO NOT USE THEM!!

I used JsutAnswer.com for a single encounter for veterinary advice as AskAVetOnline.com and was deceptively and without any communication in text or email, signed up for recurring membership and charges.

I would give them no stars if possible. when my mom's parrot was very sick in February on a Sunday, no local vet was available. So I tried this service. They signed me up without my knowledge and have been charging me $55 a month for the service. I called and they stopped the service but were very stubborn about removing the earlier months of charges. Then the customer service rep hung up on me. Also the advice was pathetic and my mom's parrot died anyway.

this seems to be a scam. they charged me $5 to ask the vet about getting a prescription for heartworm medication. my last vet is four and a half hours away and refuses to provide prescriptions online or over the phone and will only sell from her own clinic. so I asked about getting a prescription which ask a vet confirmed was the question. they then charged me $5 to tell me that they can't write prescriptions online. then I went back to the chat after complaining about it to the vet and not getting a response and then the chat wanted to charge me $5 to ask for a refund I will be having my credit card charge it back and I will be filing a complaint with the FTC

It is a bait and switch do not sign up for them I was charged eight months for their service till I finally figured out I was being billed for services I never signed up for

This is a scam - they act like it's a one-time payment per call but it's not. They sign you up for a monthly membership without telling you or asking for confirmation. I got charged $70 for a monthly membership I didn't want or know about. Also the vet that I talked to was unhelpful and seemed rushed to get me off the phone. The call probably lasted 30 seconds. This feels like they're taking advantage of people who are desperate and scared. Don't waste your time or money just go to the vet in person.

Asked about emergency medicine over weekend. Bot doing initial triage clearly not set up to help. Spent £5.00 and had to give up my ID details to be told something that could have easily been picked up by the bot. Don’t bother with them

I asked a question ONE time and they continued to charge me a monthly fee. They refused to refund my money and were extremely rude. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. THEY WILL STEAL FROM YOU.

They need to stop scamming people into an undesired monthly subscription and then make it impossible to cancel.

Called late at night because our pet was very sick. Didn't get too much value for the call and now they are charging me $65 per month for a reocuring membership which we never signed up for. TOTAL SCAM! Do not give them your credit card!!!

I had used askavetonline.com once to consult about our cat that we had to put to sleep 2 months ago. They weren't much help because, well, they were wherever they were and our cat was with us.
Now, 2 months after she's no longer alive, they decided that today (Sunday) would be a great time to put another charge on our credit card for $65. I went online with them logged into their chat. I told what the problem was and they wanted me to put another charge on my credit card to talk to someone about it. I WAS born at night, but not LAST night, so I decided to come here to let people know that not only are they essentially worthless, but also dishonest.

HORRIBLE AND MISLEADING SERVICE. What was supposed to be a $5 call turned into a $65.00 repeated monthly credit card charge with ZERO customer service (non AI) to dispute and cancel. STAY AWAY FROM ASKAVETONLINE.COM!!!! I am reporting them to the BBB. Super shady company.

One night at 3 pm my furbaby went into convulsions. I looked Ocean State Vet Clinic. When I click on something it went to "askavetonline.com". I never used the site, instead I took him right in when my boyfriend saw me having issues. Well I guess that 5.00 if you want to "talk" to a vet is the scam. Once they get ur account they bill me 65.00 randomly often. 3 times I wrote to them to cancel asap and never did I hear back. End result, im going Wednesday to get a new card. All of this..... why?! This group is a total scam. Please if in need and your upset pls go to the emergency vet. These phone vets is a scam and waste of so much time.

Absolute scam. We had an urgent question about our dog, paid the $5 fee and have somehow been signed up for a recurring monthly fee of $65 with no way to cancel on the website. We just got charged again today. Since it was done with a debit card we are going to have to cancel that card and replace it.
