I had to replace failing mother board on my PC running Windows 10 Pro (also not able to support Windows 11 anyway). Because of hardware change (and no activation key) Microsoft refused to activate it recommending I buy their activation key for exorbitant price of about $265AUD. At Aussie Software activation key cost was very affordable at $65 (it could include W10 Pro download but I did not need that). Strangely the FIRST supplied key FAILED to effect activation BUT the SECOND key achieved activation. Certainly I am very happy that I got activation done via Aussie Software.

Availability of products, pricing and delivery.

I want to continue to use MS Publisher after October so purchased a stand-alone MS Office 2021.
Using the chat function the installation has been successful, and Lachlan could not have been more helpful.

Since my review a refund has been give. However I do not believe it would have unless I had made a review. I was told twice that a refund had been given and I suspect that the company hoped I would forget or give up.

I purchased Microsoft 365 Family on 12 June 2026.

The software downloaded successfully, but despite many attempts—and considerable assistance from the online chat support—I was never able to activate it.

As I rely on Microsoft for work, I couldn't continue waiting. After several frustrating weeks trying to activate the product, I had no choice but to renew my original Microsoft subscription so I could continue working.

I then attempted to obtain a refund using every available support channel, including the live chat, the "Contact Us" form, email and telephone. I was particularly concerned to discover that the phone number listed on the website could not be connected.

Despite repeated assurances that my refund had been processed, I checked my account today and no refund has been received.

Below are just some of the assurances I was given by customer support:

"This is the only receipt I can give you via Stripe that indicates when the refund was processed."
"I completely understand your frustration with the delay. If it hasn't come back in by the end of the week, I'll issue a direct credit into your account."
"I can also give the bank a call tomorrow and see exactly what's happening with this. I've done everything from my end."
"I completely understand your frustration, but please don't worry—you haven't been scammed. The refund process typically takes 3–5 business days to complete. If it hasn't arrived by the end of this week, I'll give you a direct credit."
"I've called our bank. They said it's processing. Kindly give it until the end of the week."
"They have informed me it will most likely clear by tomorrow."

Unfortunately, none of these assurances have resulted in a refund.

I appreciate that technical issues can occur and that refunds can sometimes take time. However, after weeks of unsuccessful attempts to activate the product and repeated promises that the refund was imminent, I have been left both out of pocket and extremely disappointed with the company's customer service. I hope this review encourages the company to resolve the matter promptly and improve its after-sales support for future customers.

I've bought 3 different versions of MS Office from Aussie Software: 2016, 2019, 2024. It's all been smooth sailing.

Only one recent hiccup when Microsoft changed something, disabling my copy. I contacted Aussie and they sorted it out straight away.

I'd happily buy from them again.

Good price and customer service. At first got the wrong product, but was able to resolve it easily and somewhat quickly through their chat and email. 4/5 stars just because of the initial issue that could have been avoided. Overall I’m really satisfied and would do business again.

I had issues with my PC with Win11 Pro not being active ? So I had a look around and thought it would be far easier to get another key. Purchased the key online though Aussieoutlet.com and easy as. I had some issues but in the end all good and the price was better than I expected.

The pricing was excellent, but what made it a really good experience was the prompt and effective chat support when the digitally delivered order wasn't quite as expected. Would recommend.
