I recently had a comprehensive mommy makeover at Avicenna International Hospital in Istanbul. It wasn’t a small surgery but my experience exceeded all expectations. What truly stood out was the amazing follow-up and communication from the entire team; they kept me informed every step of the way, from pre-op prep through my recovery back in the UK.
A huge thank you to Joseph, my coordinator and translator , who made me feel incredibly well taken care of. No question was too small or too big. His proactive check-ins and attentiveness turned what could have been a stressful process into a seamless one. The hospital’s modern facilities and professional staff only added to the outstanding service.
I also would like to thank all the nurses for top quality care but especially Zerba Berber who continuously encouraged me to go for walks to speed my recovery and was extremely empathetic to the way I felt and needed.
I highly recommend Avicenna to anyone seeking top-tier care abroad! I’m really happy with my results even if I’m only a couple of weeks post op, the surgeon is a magician I already have an amazing silouhette and minimal scarring.

I wanted to write an honest review about my stay and experience at Avicenna hospital. From the moment of my consultation and planning the surgery i have had nothing but positive experiences. Of course as many i was worried about going abroad for surgery, but Omars approach to my initial consultation gave me a sense of excitement and hope. I had a few consultations with a few different hopsitals and clinics in Turkey but the way Omar responded to my queiry really made me feel safe. He didnt push, he didnt send me messages like the other clinics did. He gave me time, reassurance and told me he was ready when i was. This really drew me in. I had my surgery completed by Dr Caya, and i am so pleased with my results already and fast responses to any follow up questions. Omar, the translator and arranger was so welcoming from the start making me feel completely at ease. On the day of my surgery Dr Caya came and assessed me and advised with her expert opinion on what he thought was best. My surgery was smooth and my aftercare was amazing, the nurses and cleaners continuously coming into me checking if im okay and answering any questions i had. The hospital itself has no faults and was cleaned around 4 times a day ensuring it was practical for a healing environment. The nurses were also all amazing. I would 100% recommend this hospital and will definitely be coming back in the future! I have terrible scars since having uplift and change of implants. They have gone saggy again its only been 1.5 years. I was told it was my skin and basically to deal with it. Was enough skin removed in the first place ?

I am very upset thought travelling abroad would of saved me money.
I had a much smaller implant as well second time around and they still went south. Im 35 healthy and haven't gained weight so for this to happen im very sad.

I contacted the hospital through my medical consultant Omar Arnaout who became my new friend an incredible person explains everything did not leave me alone in this experience of mine I am very grateful to him for everything and especially for his patience. My plan for myself is a complete change for this we started with a facelift of the face and neck blepharoplasty of the upper and lower eyelid and according to my doctor foxy eye, the results are incredible even I can't recognize myself I stayed 10 days in Istanbul 4 days in the hospital and 6 days in the hotel the care for me was like for a princess, I highly recommend my doctor Caner Kaya I don't know how to describe him he just does wonders with his hands and makes people happy with a new vision I have 2 more operations coming up with him

I had a hair transplant at Avicenna Hospital in Istanbul in October 2022. The result was a failure and left my hair worse than it was before the surgery.

Whenever I raised concerns, I was repeatedly told to do PRP or more treatments instead of the clinic taking responsibility. Years later, they offered a “free” redo only if I travelled back, while still claiming the original transplant “looked fine,” which it clearly did not.

Very disappointing experience and poor accountability.

Amazing support from the get go. I had a tummy tuck,lipo & breast reduction/lift. Speaking to Joseph from the start, he advised me on everything I needed and calmed my nerves. He helped me through the whole process and I felt so comfortable with him. I knew at any point if I needed anything he was there. Dr Kayner is an incredible surgeon and my results are fantastic. I want to share my experience with Joseph, the translator at Avicenna Hospital who supported me throughout my entire journey. From the moment I arrived until my departure, he was there to guide me through every step of my tummy tuck procedure. Whenever I needed information, Joseph took the time to find answers and ensure I understood everything clearly.
What truly set Joseph apart was his approach. I was extremely nervous going into this, but unlike many representatives, he never once made me feel pressured. His patience and genuine care made all the difference during what could have been an overwhelming experience.
I’m incredibly happy with how everything has gone from start to finish,though technically, I’m still in the recovery phase, and the aftercare continues to be exceptional. I had a very positive experience with Yusuf. From the outset, he was clear, professional, and extremely responsive, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. He took the time to understand my situation properly, explained everything in a straightforward way, and followed through on every point he committed to.
The hospital facilities were also excellent, clean, well organised, and reassuring throughout. The doctors were great, and the nurses were outstanding in particular: genuinely caring, attentive, and professional, which made a huge difference to the overall experience.
I would confidently recommend Yusuf and the hospital team to anyone looking for a reliable, high-quality service.

Got my procedure done on the 5th of November 25 , I priced the same op in Northern Ireland it was 4x the price I paid at Avicenna . Just over 2 months later and I couldn't be happier with the results .

I also want to sincerely thank Dr. Caner Kaya for his exceptional expertise and skill. Thanks to his precise and careful work, my surgery at Avicena Hospital in Istanbul was successful, and my recovery has been smooth. The combination of Joseph’s outstanding coordination and Dr. Kaya’s medical excellence made my experience truly remarkable. I am deeply grateful for both of their efforts.

My wife had Liposuction and Tummy Tuck Surgery and at the same time, my son had his Adenoid Surgery (because of blocked nose). The coordinator Mr Joseph (Yusuf Arnaout) explained to us everything, he showed complete empathy and integrity coupled with professionalism. He made our decision making a lot easier.

Although some of the nurses cannot speak English at all, lacks integrity and ‘the desire to assist patients’ Ebru adıyaman, the best nurse in the world (as well as the cutest one who is fluent in English, never loses the smile on her face when interacting to patients) made our experience a great deal of difference and made Avicenna as Recommendable to others. Compared to other nurses, Ebru is far more experienced, precise and provides you with the exact care you need. Although Türkiye is no longer an economic option, at Avicenna Hospital we got the service and care we needed. I wish and pray for these individuals who are truly exceptional and deserve appreciations.

I had a revision rhinoplasty here with doctor Asude Köksal after another doctor gave me a bad rhinoplasty. She fixed my nose which I am so happy with because I know revision rhinoplasties are very complex but she made it look easy and I am so grateful. She was also so gentle with me - I felt much better after the surgery with her than I did the first time I had the surgery done with the other surgeon. I recovered quicker and didn't get unwell. I am also grateful for the coordinator Derya who was always there for me before and after surgery, she was very supportive the whole way through. Thank you ❤️

Excellent experience overall.

I had blepharo plastic and hair transplant after six months.
Omar Arnaout is the manager who followed both my procedures from pre-purchase to aftercare.

I couldn't recommend him enough: very professional, competent and great at delivering customer experience.

Die Kommunikation war von Beginn an sehr professionell, alle Fragen wurden stets zeitnah und freundlich beantwortet. Organisation und Ablauf – von der Abholung am Flughafen über die Vor- und Nachsorge bis hin zum Rücktransfer – verliefen reibungslos.

Das Beratungsgespräch mit dem Chirurgen war kompetent und vertrauensvoll, die Operation sowie die Nachsorge waren einwandfrei. Lediglich eine 3D-Simulation des möglichen Ergebnisses vor dem Eingriff hätte ich mir gewünscht.

Insgesamt war die Betreuung während des gesamten Aufenthalts hervorragend und vermittelte ein hohes Maß an Sicherheit. Ich bin mit dem Ergebnis und dem gesamten Ablauf äußerst zufrieden und kann die Klinik uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

For an initial approach, a specific day and time were scheduled for a pre-consultation via WhatsApp. I put other things aside and organised my day to wait for the appointment. However, at the last minute I was told that the surgeon would not be available and that the appointment would have to be rescheduled. The way this first appointment was handled was so amateurish that it made me hesitant to continue. I will not be contacting them again.

Overall, a very good experience. Joseph was extremely helpful and professional throughout. The translator, Mr. John, was also very kind and made communication easy. Dr. Ishmael was excellent — attentive, knowledgeable, and supportive. I’m very happy with the service from everyone involved.
