I would buy from again and cannot thank the customer service for all their time and effort in rectifying the issue.

We are sorry to hear that your order didn’t reach you. Your parcel was dispatched promptly to Spain, but unfortunately it was returned after import duties were declined.
As stated clearly at checkout and in our terms, international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes which are the customer’s responsibility. We ask every customer to confirm acceptance of these terms before completing the purchase.
When a parcel is returned to us due to unpaid import charges, the original shipping cost is not refundable, as this expense is already incurred on dispatch. Your refund was therefore issued minus the outbound shipping cost, in accordance with our published policy.
We understand that customs procedures can be inconvenient, but we always aim to handle such cases fairly and transparently. Should you wish to reorder in future, we’ll gladly assist to make the process as smooth as possible.

No value for money and left alone with a big damage
I bought 2 large Bahoma candles and both produced heavy soot. the one with the Jasmine smell was that bad that I must repaint the bathroom. So definitely no value for money. By reading the Bahoma reviews it became very obvious that I‘m not alone with this bad experience. Therefore, the replies from Bahoma are just ridiculous and not thrust worthy. My personal experience is very simple; The first and my last experience with Bahoma

J’ai achetée plusieurs bougies bahoma. Des la première utilisation je me suis aperçue que la bougies faisait beaucoup de fumée noir , depuis j’ai constaté chez moi que j’ai un dépôt gris noir qui c’est mis partout sur mes meubles, mes chaises… j’arrête pas de nettoyé !! Avant de lancer Bahoma sur le marché, nous avons consacré plusieurs années à apprendre et à perfectionner notre savoir-faire - à étudier comment la cire, le parfum et la flamme interagissent. Nos bougies sont aujourd’hui commercialisées et appréciées depuis plus de 17 ans, durant lesquels des milliers d’entre elles ont été allumées aussi bien par nos clients que par notre propre équipe, dans des maisons, des boutiques et des espaces d’exposition.
Comme pour toute bougie, certains facteurs - tels que la longueur de la mèche, la ventilation ou la durée d’allumage en continu - peuvent influencer le comportement de la flamme. C’est pourquoi nous joignons toujours des recommandations précises afin d’aider nos clients à profiter du parfum et de la lumière en toute sécurité, sans effets indésirables.
Il est particulièrement important de respecter le temps de combustion continu conseillé et de surveiller la longueur de la mèche. Celle-ci ne devrait pas dépasser 5 à 7 mm, et il convient de la couper dès qu’elle devient plus longue, afin d’éviter toute fumée et de garantir une combustion propre et régulière. Nos bougies peuvent être appréciées pendant de longues heures lorsqu’elles sont entretenues de cette manière.
Il est vraiment dommage que vous ne nous ayez pas contactés directement lorsque vous avez constaté ce problème, car nous aurions volontiers examiné la situation avec vous pour comprendre ce qui a pu se passer. Before launching Bahoma into the market, we spent several years developing and refining our craft - studying how wax, fragrance and flame interact. Our products have now been sold and loved for over 17 years, during which countless customers - as well as our own team - have burned thousands of our candles in homes, stores and display settings.
Every candle, regardless of brand, can react differently depending on factors such as wick length, ventilation, or the duration for which it is left burning. For this reason, we always include clear burning guidelines to help our customers enjoy the fragrance and flame safely and without unwanted effects.
It is very important to observe how long a candle is burned in one continuous session, and to ensure the wick is trimmed regularly. The ideal wick height is around 5–7mm, and trimming it as soon as it becomes longer helps prevent smoke and ensures a steady, clean burn. Candles can be enjoyed for many hours when this simple care is followed.
It is a great shame that you didn’t contact us directly when you noticed the issue, as we would have gladly reviewed the circumstances with you and helped identify what might have caused this behaviour. Déception pour une commande en direct
J ai commandé directement sur leur site car j avais déjà pris le savon et la crème pour les mains non seulement j ai dû payer 64 de frais de DHL soit disant tva et frais de douanes soit 32% de plus sur ma commande mais en plus lorsque j avais acheté sur un autre site le savon était gros et la crème pour les mains plus petite là tout est petit donc très très chers au final

I bought 2 extra large candles with the 3 wicks and my God it was heavenly and even after putting it out the smell was still filling the living room with amazing fragrance of heavenly smells. I always have some so didn’t have a problem with the candles ever. It’s glorious and I highly recommend them.

Quite hazardous
I bought four candles and the glass shattered by two of them. Fortunately I was in the room when it happened. Also a lot of soot filled the room each time the candles were lit. You would expect quality with these prices...

Safety is of the highest importance to us, and all Bahoma candles are made in our London workshop from heat-resistant glass vessels that undergo thorough quality control before being filled. We have never received reports of glass breakage under normal burning conditions, which makes it difficult to understand what may have occurred here.
Unfortunately, as we have not been contacted directly and no order reference has been provided, we are unable to review the situation in detail. There are several external factors - such as excessive burning time without allowing the wax to cool, exposure to drafts, or the candle being placed on a cold or uneven surface - that can, in rare cases, cause glass stress. These are precisely the reasons why each product includes clear safety and burning guidelines.

I am a loyal devotee of Bahoma
I am a loyal devotee of Bahoma. My home is filled with their beautifully fragranced scented candles, diffusers and toiletries. The scents fill the room and even when not burning exude a wonderful fragrance. They master beautifully blended fragrances and in my opinion cannot be beaten at this price point.
I have read the negative reviews of the exploding candles and can honestly say that this has never been an issue for me with Bahoma. It has happened to me before with other brands, Diptyque to name but one. I really feel that when the wax burns low, or has been burning for too long and the glass gets very hot, that this will be an issue whoever the manufacturer is. Burning time guidelines are given for a reason and I’ve only encountered difficulties when I haven’t heeded this advice. As long as you follow the rules you’ll be just fine!
Regarding the above point, I have found that the Bahoma candles in the black glass containers get less hot when in use than the clear glass. So maybe opt for these if you’re unsure. And finally, I always place my candles on a protective plate just to ensure that no fabric or table surface is damaged.
Also regarding the point about the excess soot; something I have also learnt is to always trim the wick, don’t place your candle next to a wall and avoid draughts when burning your candle. All of this equals a happy, soot free candle.
Overall a wonderful brand with super fast shipping and beautiful products.

AVOID EXPLODING BAHOMA CANDLES!
Bought from Brand Alley. Towards the end of the life of a three wick candle the glass pot which the candle was in exploded throwing glass into the bath tub where my girlfriend was bathing and also leaving a burn mark and wax stain on the window ledge. Furthermore the candle burnt terribly, the soot that came off it was ridiculous. I burnt one candle over the space of a few weeks and my white bathroom tiles were thick with a black film of soot, so much so it was rolling down the tiles with condensation when I had a shower. This is the first time it’s happened since I’ve been burning candles in my bathroom over the last couple of years.

Dangerous candles.
So I bought these delicious smelling candles through Brandalley. Great scenting so ordered more.
Thought I would gift them for Christmas..
Yesterday whilst I was in another room I heard and crash and it turned out that the bahoma candle which had burnt down had just smashed its own glass container sending shards of black glass everywhere.
This is a seriously dangerous candle .i have bought other brands in the past in glass containers and never had this occur.
Be warned - these are dangerous and a fire risk.
