Grandmas Bake Shoppe Reviews

The fruitcake is stellar, as always. The customer service, severely lacking. In the emails between myself and Lane Yard about shipping - January 2/3... he/she (can't tell gender by the name) was curt and condescending, with questionable accuracy of information, which was void of the most important info - that Beatrice Bakery was closed for the holidays, so nothing was shipped that week. I got that info from a nice young woman I spoke to the following week.

That, plus the email solicitation asking for me to review Grandma's Bake Shop contained a bad link. So I had to respond to that email with a request for a working link.

If it weren't for the high quality of the fruitcake, this review would have been 1 star... thanks to the experience I had with Lane Yard and my overall customer service experience.

I purchased the 3 pack of the Original, Amaretto, and Pineapple.
Although I have not tried the Original and Pineapple, I have had the Amaretto and it is FABULOUS!
I purchased it in a local Grocery Store several years ago and have been buying it ever since. Unfortunately the chain did not carry it this year and that led me to research where I could get it. Very Happy to find Grandmas Bake Shoppe!

I was accidentally shipped a fruitcake which was past the due date. They immediately sent me a replacement so it would arrive before Christmas.

I will be ordering again

Grandmas fruit cakes are delicious. They are chock-full of fruit and nuts. Every bite awakens your taste buds. I enjoy a slice with my afternoon cup of coffee.

Fresh and tasty

The pumpkin streusel bread was fabulous as was the fruitcake

For years I've been looking for some well made fruitcake because there's nothing good where I live. I took a chance 2 years ago with Grandmas Bake Shop and I'm hooked. Their products are moist and quite delicious and is shipped very quickly.

Promptness of delivery and quality of the baked goods

Easy to order, shipped quickly, recipient loved it

Excellent product, price is high.

The two fruit cakes were mealy and dry. Didn’t seem as though they had much liquore in them

I was going to place a second order but over night te prices went up 50 dollars.

We began purchasing your fruit cakes many years ago when we owned a building supply store. We were able to purchase through our vendor and it was an every year purchase. After closing the business we lost touch and we were pleasantly surprised to find you again online. The most delicious fruit cake ever!!!

Easy to order and the fruit cakes and cookies were delicious.

I order fruitcakes from this company every year. They are the best. Customer service is outstanding, including keeping me updated about the status of my orders. I order for myself, as well. I have nothing but nice things to say about the company, its representatives, and the products. I became familiar with these fruitcakes from my Dad. And, that was a long time ago. Each bite makes me think about him. Thank you so much~~

The shipping was extremely fast, getting to Hastings in 1 day!

Beatrice Bakery/Grandmas Bake Shoppe is the only place to order fruitcakes. They are the best!
