Producers selling music that belong to somebody else
They have a producer is sold me a beat a year ago 2024. I was on Spotify listening to music. The same music came on. I did a research and found out the music that was playing this guy had on his album in 2016 so he sold me a beat that belong to somebody else in 2016. He sold it to me in 2024. I’ll never buy for them again. And when you try to contact beat stars the number that they have is not working there’s no way to get in touch with them. The whole company is probably a fraud.

If a producer sold you a beat that appears to have been released or owned by someone else in 2016, this may be a case of copyright infringement. We strongly encourage you to file a DMCA takedown notice with us so we can investigate and take appropriate action within our platform policies.
Additionally, if you feel the purchase was fraudulent, you may also reach out to your payment provider to explore a chargeback or refund dispute for the transaction.

Purchased a beat
Purchased a beat, added the hooks and bars and released the song through Landr. So far so good and issues here were my biggest concern. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because I did feel like the website could be a bit smoother. The platform does not feel as intuitive as I would like

Disappointing First Impression
I signed up to browse and buy a few beats, but now I'm being asked to pay for a subscription despite not selling anything. It’s put me right off. I’ll be taking my business elsewhere.

It sounds like you may have selected the wrong type of account during the signup flow. Kindly ensure you are selecting to browse and buy, instead of selling.
Rest assured, you're not required to pay for a subscription to browse or listen to content on BeatStars.
