Very good customer service

Honestly, I have never experienced this kind of customer service since I came to England! BedroomKing has been absolutely amazing, and I genuinely cannot recommend them enough.

I first contacted BedroomKing on 24 July, and their WhatsApp customer service has been reliable throughout. The person handling enquiries is responsive, professional, patient and polite. The communication has been excellent, and I have felt well supported throughout my purchasing journey.

After taking my time to decide, I finally purchased the Lucy High End Upholstery Divan Ottoman Bed in King Size and the Ellington Upholstery Ottoman Divan Bed in Single Size.

One thing I particularly appreciate is that BedroomKing keeps its promises. They assured me that they would honour the discount code when I was ready to purchase, and they did! Even after I placed my order and realised I had forgotten to apply the code, they reassured me that they would refund the discount amount. That level of honesty and commitment to customers is commendable.

Another moment that really impressed me was when they asked whether the large headboard and divan ottoman bases would fit through my staircase or a lift. I explained that I did not have a lift and was unsure whether they would fit through the stairs. They asked me to send a picture of the staircase to help them assess the situation. Without me asking them to split the headboard, they proactively offered to split the large headboard into two parts at absolutely no extra cost!

That gesture says so much about their customer service. They did not wait for me to find a solution; they took the initiative to help. This is the kind of professionalism and customer care that makes a business stand out.

The beds have beautiful, luxurious designs, and the prices are very reasonable for the high-end look they offer. I am genuinely excited about my purchase.

BedroomKing, thank you for your patience, honesty, kindness and outstanding service. From my first enquiry on 24 July to placing my order, you have exceeded my expectations. It is refreshing to deal with a company that genuinely values its customers and goes the extra mile.

Honestly, I was so hesitant to order a bed online without seeing it in person, but I’m SO glad I took the chance! 🤍

Before ordering, I WhatsApped the company with loads of questions because I wasn’t sure which bed to go for, and they were so quick, helpful and informative with every question I had. I originally ordered a different bed, but after seeing this one and finding out it could be made into an ottoman, I contacted them to cancel my original order and explained that I’d much rather have this one — and they were absolutely brilliant.

Now that it’s here, I’m over the moon with it! 😍 The bed itself is so solid and sturdy, the gas-lift ottoman storage is brilliant and so easy to use, and the 4000 pocket sprung mattress is the WOW factor! 😍 It is honestly SO comfortable. I like a more supportive/hardish mattress and this one is perfect — really comfortable without being too soft.

The bed is also nice and high, which makes getting in and out of bed so much easier!

I paid extra for quicker delivery and it arrived within 7 days of ordering, which I thought was fantastic considering there was a weekend in between too.

For the price, I genuinely couldn’t be happier. Do not — and I mean DO NOT — hesitate to buy! 😂🤍 From the customer service to the delivery and then the actual quality of the bed and mattress, I’m absolutely over the moon with it. 10/10 from me! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This company has been great from start to finish. I ordered literally last week and it came with efficiency. The bed looks like it belongs in a hotel suite which is exactly what I wanted. The assembly took no time at all and was a very useful option to have with a headboard that is 90inches high. It is exactly as pictured and just feels so luxurious.

The WhatsApp replying times were straight away and no messing about. Time slot allocated was accurate too. Thanks!

Extremely disappointing experience
Extremely disappointing experience with Bedroom Kings

Bedroom Kings has been one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. From the poor customer service to the delivery experience, the whole process has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

The mattress and divan beds arrived very dusty, which I found completely unacceptable. When I tried to contact the company through WhatsApp to resolve my concerns, I was eventually blocked. In my opinion, blocking a paying customer instead of addressing their concerns is completely unacceptable.

The courier company used by Bedroom Kings, SGK Distribution, was also extremely unprofessional.

I specifically ordered delivery to the ground floor of my flat building, even though my flat is three floors up. The lift is located on the ground floor.

When the drivers arrived, I simply asked if they could help me push the divan/mattress into the lift from the lobby, and I would do the rest myself once it was inside. I was also willing to help them push it into the lift.

They agreed to try, but after approximately five seconds, they said it wouldn't fit — despite the fact that the item actually could have fitted into the lift.

The drivers then walked away and told me to complain.

They did offer to carry the items up the three flights of stairs for £50, including assembly, but I declined this offer. I was not asking them to carry the furniture up three floors. I was simply asking for a small amount of assistance to push the items into the lift, which was right there in the lobby. I had already agreed to help them do it myself.

What made the situation even more frustrating was the attitude of one of the two drivers. From my experience, there appeared to be very little willingness to help or find a practical solution. This was a simple task that could potentially have taken only a few moments and would have made the delivery much smoother for everyone.

Whatever happened to couriers going the extra mile and helping a customer with one simple task? I wasn't asking them to carry the items all the way to my flat for an additional charge. I was asking for help getting them into the lift, and I was prepared to help them.

What followed was an unacceptable two-hour stand-off between Bedroom Kings, the courier company and myself, while I was left waiting with my delivery. Eventually, they agreed to bring the divan beds up to my flat.

Had they simply carried out what was eventually agreed when they first arrived, this entire situation could have been avoided. I was prepared to escalate the situation further because I expected the agreed delivery service to be honoured.

In my opinion, this entire situation could have been avoided if the drivers had simply made a reasonable effort to help push the items into the lift in the first place, rather than leaving them in exactly the same place and walking away.

The customer service experience was equally frustrating. Trying to get help over the phone was extremely difficult. I was unable to speak directly to someone who seemed able to properly understand and resolve my situation. I was repeatedly told that someone would call me back, and when I explained what had happened, I felt as though my concerns were not being properly understood.

Overall, this has been an extremely poor experience from start to finish — from the condition of the products, to the customer service, to the courier delivery.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering ordering from Bedroom Kings does their research and thinks very carefully before placing an order. I would also encourage customers not to rely solely on the positive reviews they see online, but to look at a wide range of independent customer experiences before making a decision.

I cannot personally verify whether every review I have seen from Bedroom Kings is genuine or independently credible, and therefore I will not make any accusations. However, based on my own experience, I personally found the service to be very negative and very different from the positive impression presented by some of the reviews.

Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bedroom Kings and I certainly would not order from them again.

I’m so happy with my experience with BedroomKing! My bed is absolutely beautiful and the service has been brilliant from start to finish. I had a small issue with the headboard, but they responded quickly and arranged a replacement without any fuss. Communication has always been quick, helpful and friendly. I’m genuinely really pleased with both my bed and the service I received. Highly recommend! ❤️

Quick delivery & great customer service.

We noticed a couple of issues with the bed after transportation of the items so contacted bedroom king and they were so speedy & helpful ensuring the issues were sorted.

We have not yet set the bed up but are very excited to try it!

If I could give 10 stars I would absolutely amazing customer service I placed an order I realised I made a mistake with my headboard I messaged once I realised and they sorted it straight away helped me decided on a split headboard so I’d have no issues with it fitting upstairs and also a wee discount on top honestly can not rate their customer service enough such an amazing company and I can’t wait for my dream bed to arrive now 🥰 thank you again
