I ordered an orthopaedic mattress on 13th September, but it took a month to arrive. The customer service was appalling. I explained that I had been forced to take time off work due to back problems and was having to sleep on the floor while waiting for my mattress. The response I received was simply, "Bless you."

After three weeks of back and forth with no satisfactory resolution, I had to get eBay involved. A man then called me and asked me to close the case on my app so that the delivery could be approved.

Absolutely appalling customer service from start to finish. I would not recommend this company based on my experience

I purchased a mattress from this company via eBay. After delivery being cancelled without notice three times, the mattress finally arrived with a large stain on it.
I contacted the company through eBay and they called me to discuss the matter. They said they were happy to send me a partial refund but said it may not be straight forward through eBay, and took me through steps which they said were necessary to get the agreed refund. They said I needed to leave them a review and accept the partial refund that eBay suggested and that they would send me the rest of it. After no contact in 10 days I contacted the company and they went back on what they had said and stated that I had agreed to the £10 partial refund that eBay had suggested. I explained this was not the case and have not heard from them since.
I then contacted eBay and they said the company had feed me wrong information and that I should send a complaint (which I have since done). They were also concerned to how the company had got my telephone number and it would seem they pulled it from a previous order of mine, which of course is illegal.
The whole experience has been very upsetting and I am surprised such cowboys get away with swindling people like this. I don’t know how they sleep at night.

Just so people know, the cowboys response is a lie. I have not been removed from eBay and I am not on benefits, not that this is point. Also, I did not ask to keep the item for free. Deflection and slander.

I had a great experience with Beds Divans the mattress arrived today by a very professional and nice bloke he delivered the mattress with care and helped my mum with it into the house. Very happy with the service received I ordered through Ebay and was most definitely worth waiting for it its very cheap for the price. It was a 1,000 spring double i'm really happy and was good communication and updates via them on ebay I would recommend them I will be buying a single from them

Well the quality speaks for itself self I can’t say enough about that Their communications with are so helpful. Ok took 3 weeks to get to me but what would you expect for free postage was delivered in great time in well protecting thick plastic , sealed clear wrapping the mattress is beautiful in looks and so great sleeping on it. So comfortable I don’t want to get out of bed in the mornings.

I recently purchased a bed from Beds Divans and I’m extremely happy with the overall experience. From placing my order through to receiving the bed, the service was professional, friendly and helpful.
The bed itself is excellent quality and exactly what I was looking for. It feels sturdy, well made and comfortable, and I’m very pleased with how it looks in my bedroom. The quality is particularly impressive considering the price.
What really stood out to me was the customer service. The staff were polite, approachable and genuinely helpful throughout the whole process. Any questions I had were answered clearly, and I felt that they actually cared about making sure I was happy with my purchase rather than simply making a sale.
Delivery and assembly were also handled very well. Everything was done efficiently and with care, and the whole process was much easier than I expected.
Overall, I would definitely recommend Beds Divans to anyone looking for a good-quality bed at a reasonable price, backed up by excellent customer service. I’m very happy with my purchase and would happily use them again in the future.

Amazing good quality beds. Fast delivery

I ordered a mattress from Beds Divan at the end of August, with an expected delivery date of 8 September. That date came and went, and despite repeatedly contacting the seller, I received nothing but vague updates and promises of delivery that never materialised.

When I asked to cancel and receive a refund, the seller repeatedly refused, claiming the mattress had been dispatched. I was left chasing both the seller and the courier, with very little clarity or reassurance.

I eventually had to involve eBay Customer Service and rely on the Money Back Guarantee to resolve the situation. My refund has now been processed, but the whole experience was stressful, frustrating and time-consuming.

A disappointing lack of communication and customer service. I would not use this seller again and would advise other buyers to think carefully before ordering.

I did not refuse delivery without reason. The original delivery date had passed, and after repeatedly chasing both the seller and the courier, I was still receiving vague updates and promises that were not fulfilled. I also repeatedly requested a cancellation and refund, which the seller refused.

I contacted eBay for assistance and was explicitly advised by eBay Customer Service, in writing, that refusing the late delivery would not affect my refund request. I relied on that advice. And I have this all well documented with screenshots and emails with eBay customer services for evidence.

My review reflects the full experience: the significant delays, repeated chasing, lack of clear communication and the difficulty I faced obtaining a resolution. Although my refund has now been processed, this does not erase the frustration and inconvenience caused.

I stand by my review and hope this feedback is taken on board.

I’ve been using eBay for over 20 years and never experienced a company like this. I ordered a mattress it came in two weeks with holes rips and filthy dirty I contacted the company on eBay a man contacted me from the company to tell me that they will send a new mattress out. He came on the phone and explained what I had to do on my eBay account. step-by-step and then at the end said close the return two weeks later the new mattress turned up was not the same mattress. I ordered flimsy half the weight of the last mattress. The delivery driver confirm this with me and I did not accept the mattress they took photos of the old mattress but did not take it away now waiting over a month. I’ve got fed up and asked them for a refund and because they did not take the old dirty mattress, they said I’m not entitled to it. Will not take the old dirty mattress or refund me.I did not refuse them to take it because why would I want a mattress with holes and filthy dirty? I’ve now gone through eBay. And because I closed the return, which the man from the company told that is what I’ve got to do to get the new mattress. It’s a massive con because eBay will not help me as I’ve closed the return lucky enough. I recorded the conversation with me and the man from the company telling me step-by-step what I had to do this will now be reported tomorrow for the investigation to eBay and I will not stop till I get a refund.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS SELLER

I purchased a mattress on 2 August with an estimated delivery date of 6–11 August. The item was marked as dispatched on 4 August, but there were no meaningful tracking updates and it did not arrive within the estimated timeframe.

When I contacted the seller, I was told delivery would be delayed until the following weekend. I contacted the delivery company myself and was told they had not received the mattress from the seller, despite the seller stating that it was already “in transit”.

When I said I would raise the matter with eBay, the seller responded that doing so would “give us an extra 5 days ;)”. I found this extremely concerning.

Communication was also unnecessarily rude and unprofessional, including comments telling me to “act like an adult”.

After considerable back and forth and having to open an Item Not Received case with eBay, I eventually received my full refund.

I am pleased the money has now been returned, but the whole experience was extremely stressful and time-consuming. I would not purchase from this seller again.

Even more concerning they know how to play eBay and have had my feedback removed as it’s not directly about the product.

After the companies response… I find this response extremely misleading and disappointing.

At no point was I told that my order had been cancelled because of a “fraud-prevention flag”. I was repeatedly told the mattress was “already in transit”. I personally contacted the delivery company, who confirmed they had NOT received the mattress from the seller.

I also have written evidence of the seller telling me that opening an eBay case would “give us an extra 5 days ;)”. I was then forced to open an Item Not Received case with eBay before eventually receiving my £275.49 refund.

I have never claimed that I was not refunded. My review concerns the experience: the missed delivery estimate, contradictory information regarding dispatch, the communication I received and the need to escalate the matter through eBay.

If the seller maintains that a fraud-prevention issue caused the cancellation, that is a completely different explanation from the one I was given at the time. I stand by my review and have evidence supporting the account I have given.

I've read the reviews. Also the replies from the company. One seems quite threatening, from the company.
Because she called it a scam. Well it is a scam business. The supposed orthopaedic pocket sprung mattress. Is not pocket sprung. It's just a nasty cheap mattress. It's also not fire resistant. So it's a dangerous scam.
I will be sending photos and videos to trading standards. Bedsdivans. Said I could have a refund if it wasn't delivered on the Wednesday. And i could keep mattress for free. I have all messages to prove it. It was already a week late. They then went back on their word. I only wish I could post photos here.
The mattress isn't fire resistant either.
It burns. I'm just glad I can send Ebay and trading standards photos. Yes, after I showed Bedsdivans the photos of inside the mattress. All of a sudden they wanted to give me a refund. Strange huh..
16th August i received a full refund. From Ebay after sending photos showing it wasn't a pocket sprung mattress... there was also a video of a little piece of the mattress burning. It is not fire resistant. So therefore its dangerous. All fake goods come with fake labels. I will share evidence with anyone who wants to see it. There's complaints about this company that go back years. I only wish I'd looked at reviews before using this company. Live n learn.

Terrible, unprofessional customer service, even told me my review will be removed if i write any. The return fee is unreasonably expensive, costing over half the item price. Mattress not as firm as an orthopaedic one shloud. Would not recommend at all.

Stay away from this company there Con artist sell mattresses that don’t look like the picture poor Quality then try and take half of the money back. When you send back the Mattress staying it damage on return. when clearly see there’s no damage in the pictures of delivery company that returns an took pictures myself when return delivery company was with me. they also so rude think they get off with try to con people out of money they need shut down please don’t make the same mistakes I did they would get zero stars Minus stars stay away use money With a good Company look up trustpilot for your self thanks for your time

Bought a king divan that completely failed. One half collapsed completely and other half sank in. Refused to repair or refund even though it was within 6 months as per the Consumer Goods Act & Sales of Goods Act. Rude, dismissive and no help at all. Avoid at all costs and spend your money elsewhere otherwise you will regret it!

Fab delivery thet called me 25 mins before which was amazing carried it with care and I couldn’t have asked for more
