They offer free extreme disability benefit which is very beneficial to clients. Premiums are comparatively cheaper too.

Worst insurance company ever deal with. One Word dont make business with this company

I was ripped off by this company. My insurance ended on September 4. On September 1 they took a payment from my account for September when they weren't even going to be my insurance company for that month.

Was much better when it was La Capitale. They are now difficult to reach. I also received by email a car insurance renewal form with only a total amount written on it. I have 3 vehicle and they did not dare to share the details for each vehicle. When did that happen? Why are you trying to hide the premium increase??

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Ironically, the reps are all decent but they cannot do anything for you. A huge waste of time.

On a eu un dégât d'eau et il n'on jamais voulu indemniser, il n'ont même pas daigner envoyer un évaluateur, il faut se battre avec eux comme le diable dans l'eau bénite pour avoir du service, mis a part l'achat d'une assurance, la ils sont à quatre pattes je faisait affaire avec la capitale et la ssq avant la fusion c'était un charme mais Beneva c'est l'enfer assez que je vais changer de compagnie même si il sont plus dispendieuse, Beneva plus capable, compagnie à proscrire

J'étais avec SSQ qui est devenu Beneva.
-On m'a augmenté insidieusement de 30-40% toutes mes assurances
-On m'a chargé 2 PRIMES D'ASSURANCE POUR LA MÊME VOITURE pendant plus d'un an! Ils me devaient 730$ en tout. Ils m'ont remboursé 669$ et j'ai dû rappelé encore une fois. Après avoir parlé à 4 agents différents, ils ont dû admettre qu'ils avaient encore fait un erreur (en me chargeant des frais de résiliation de la police à laquelle je n'avais jamais souscrit LOL).

Aucun des 5 agents avec qui j'ai parlé ne s'est excusé de m'avoir volé de l'argent comme ça pendant un an. Ils prétendent que j'aurais parlé à un agent La Capitale et que j'aurais souscrit à une assurance avec eux. Or, je n'ai jamais eu aucune assurance avec LaCapitale, donc je ne leur ai jamais parlé au téléphone.

À combien de clients s'est arrivés depuis le changement SSQ/LaCapitale à Beneva ???? Une chance que je m'en suis rendu compte ! Il faut être à ses affaires et tout regarder nos transactions, car ils en profitent pendant qu'on a le dos tourné pour se servir dans notre compte (augmentation démesurée, assurance chargée 2X, etc.). On vit vraiment dans un monde de fous avec tous ces riches money hungry ! BEWARE !

I was with La Capitale and never had an issue. They switched to beneva and A zero is what needs to be added to this star rating. Their always on time to take their monthly payments from my account. But never on time to pay benefits or make excuses, so thy dont have to pay.

Worst insurance I’ve had to deal with. Unfortunately I was in highway stop traffic a truck failed to notice the traffic hitting my car at high speed. Results Beneva claimed it total loss. With injury to accident single mother of 3 kids. They contacted me with total loss check leaving me 2 days rental coverage. I begged for a little more then 2 days with the old loan and new loan made extremely hard getting new car. I wrote even an email asking.. with all the after accident stuff busy and trying to get back to a car. Rental sent me an email stating a date 5 days after they said would end covered rental, I figure oh wow I got few days with some relief to my financial stress with all this accident I had no control over giving me strength to figure this hard situation. Well 5 days after what I thought was given extension. Rental calls me this morning saying Beneva pulled back the date and stopped paying 10 days ago. I said how can then after she replied I don’t know. So I went back to my email found rental email saying the date later then Beneva said 2 days I replied to rental asking about this they replied take it up with them. I called and person on the phone handle me with rude uncaring tone your just calling now (well ya k just realized from rental) they sent email I figured it was granted few more then 2 days. He replied well now it’s even later yes I realize I put budget. Well you just assume you didn’t think to call.. I reply no with all I’ve been dealing with and seeing rental email I was misled, well he says nothing I can do you should of checked, I said I’m now $600 in rental single mom of 3 kids to care for and finally I sign car but I’m so in debt with having to put thousands down on a car just to get going with one and now this
. I find them insensitive to their customer careless, heartless and once your claim is done your nothing. Knowing this accident was caused fully by another driver, when you pay insurance we hope that the company can be there as support help finding solutions. There a clear miss communication here to the rental on their part as the rental had later date and 5 days later they do this. So if you don’t ever file a claim but beware if ever you have to they will not reason they will not help more then they have to.

Was inquiring about a quote for auto insurance. The ask you to consent to share info with others. Then they refused and when I asked why the rep said he didn’t have to disclose that information..He wanted to refer me to an insurance broker. Guess that’s how they prefer to make money.

It is the cheapest insurance I found for Quebec region but are not helpful when you are leaving the region…. I am moving in Ontario (where they don’t offert coverage) and they are giving 30 days after you call them to let them know that you are leaving so it give me only a week after the closing date of my house to get car inspection done (hoping there no reparations needed) and get ontario license to have my new insurance covering me…. And this while I am moving in my new house…. I called them to extend the deadline in case of the car failed the inspection and it was a clear NO! I called the financial market thing to see my right and yes they can do that.

Think about this when you are shopping for insurance company if you think to move out of Quebec…

Réclamation pour des soins dentaires compliqué. Aucun suivi pour m’aviser qu’il manque des documents pour traiter mon dossier et fermeture de ce dernier alors qu’il est indiqué sur l’application qu’il est en cours de traitement. Les documents exigés ne sont jamais suffisants et le bureau du dentiste ne sait plus quoi me donner. Ça fait 2 mois que ça traîne et je n’ai pas vraiment de collaboration de leur part. J’attends un remboursement de 2500$ et j’ai besoin de cet argent d’autant plus que je paye mes assurances!

Pire service à la clientèle!! depuis la fusion avec La Capitale mon dossier est tout à l'envers et impossible de parler à quelqu'un de responsable en ligne ni même d'obtenir un rendez-vous en personne! C'est la pire compagnie avec des conseillers qui n'en ont rien à faire !! J'ai tout résilié et suis partie ailleurs, plus jamais Beneva pour moi

If I could put less than 1 star it would be a more accurate expression of the experience i received with this company. I am not even a client of theirs and they caused me so much stress in my day that I actually cried because I have never in my life received such bad service, not just with insurance but with any customer service reps i have ever spoken to. The reps are extremely rude, they don't speak english. They gave me a price and when i went back to get that price they had changed it completely even though I had offered proof of what they had asked for. If youre wise, keep away from this insurance. I boycott this insurance!!

Sadly, similar experience as others. Had SSQ, which was really good, but got transferred to Beneva. Website is impossible to navigate, links sometimes go to old information, "email us" forms don't work (error after trying to submit, so you lose everything you wrote), impossible to get a hold of people. So disappointed.
