Quick repair on waterproof jacket
I've had a really positive experience with Berghaus repairhaus. It was a fairly straightforward request but not something I would be able to sort out. I needed the zip fastener to be replaced and within a day of sending my item as tracked delivery down to Sunderland the same day it arrived it was fixed and returned in the post the same day. I have received it today and also received some complimentary waterproofing packs for my coat!

Amazing Service
This is an amazing service. A few weeks after my purchase of a new Berghaus rain jacket ( costing a bit more than I might normally spend but I was keen to get effective waterproofing), my very naughty cocker spaniel chewed a hole in the sleeve. As this clearly was not a product fault, I didn't expect it to be covered by the repair service. However Repairhaus have done the most wonderful, barely visible repair. What a great service. Made the costing at purchase worthwhile and will indeed stop the jacket having an early demise and going in to landfill. Well done Repairhaus!

I recently found out that Berghaus offer a free lifetime repair service. As my waterproof coat had a broken zip after years of service I gave it a try. Sent the jacket off on Monday and received it back fully repaired on Friday! Incredible service. Thank you Repairhaus!

Admittedly took two months to come back due to large influx of repairs at Berghuas. Great repair and prompt return service by courier. Well done Berghaus!

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the handling of my order placed in January for a jacket, which I have still not received despite nearly three months having passed.
After numerous attempts to contact customer services, I finally received acknowledgment today confirming that I have neither received the jacket nor been refunded. It is completely unacceptable that it has taken this long to get a response, and now I am being told that:
The jacket I paid for has been sold to someone else.
There is no replacement available, and no timeframe for when it might be restocked.
A refund is being offered instead — after nearly three months of waiting.
This is not an acceptable resolution. I purchased this jacket in good faith from a company I believed to be reputable, and I expect to receive the product I paid for.
Furthermore, I have requested an email outlining the current situation and the proposed resolution so that I have a clear record of communication, but I have yet to receive this.
Awful company with a useless warranty…
Awful company with a 'fake' warranty process. Unless you bought the item direct from them then they won't fix it when it does break. Bought an expensive tent which broke on first use and they refuse to fix it as it wasn't bought direct and the company I bought from tell me I need to go to Berghaus so stuck with a broken product.

Just received my old jacket from Berghaus. They put in a new zip for free. What a great service.
What’s happened to them?
What’s happened to them? This used to be a great brand and since they’ve become the hut, quality is out of the window but prices still high.
Ordered a nomad summit down jacket for £147 and it had holes in allowing the feathers out.
Returned and received a replacement.
After 2 weeks, feathers started leaking through all the seams and baffles.
Was told to return again for a refund. Item was returned to them 2 weeks ago with proof using their own postage supplier.
Despite evidence it was delivered, they are saying it hasn’t been and am still having to chase for refund.
** update 8th March. Berghaus (Alice) told me they had refunded to my original payment method and would be there 3 working days
14 March no refund. Customer services rudely tell me it wasn’t recieved yet at warehouse despite my tracking information and photo and signature providing delivery 21 Feb and being told by Alice that I was getting a refund.
I have now raised a police report for suspected theft at the warehouse due to tracking information.
Go to mountain equipment for quality or RAB / montane and not to be stolen from
Poor customer service
Purchased some walking trousers before Christmas. First time trying them on and they're super tight around the legs. Tried to return them or exchange them for a different size but I'd missed the "returns window" by 10 days so they refused to do either even though they'd never been used and still have the tags on.
Customer service team were completely inflexible and very "computer says no". It's a poor customer service strategy as I used to love the brand but now I'll avoid Berghaus completely. It would have cost them nothing to keep me, a better business would have realised that.

Does the company not know its manufacturing schedule? Are they going bust? Is my item being discontinued?

Review of Nightfall 400 Air tent and customer services.
A large spacious tent which is easily erected and initially appeared robust.
However having used twice in windy conditions the ground sheet ripped where the airbeams meet the ground sheet. This section of ground sheet is not manufactured strongly enough.
Fortunately the tent was still less than two years old and under warranty. Don't be fooled by this. The warranty is actually worthless. Having eventually had the damaged tent assessed to be told it is not a manufacturing fault and is therefore not covered by the warranty is so ridiculous. The tent is poor and has no real warranty.

Order number 608094045. I would give zero stars for the appalling customer service received from Berghaus do not waste your money with this company it's not the same as it used to be. I bought a pair of women's supalite walking boots online as I have previously had a pair for many years with no issues, i bought exactly the same size and after wearing the new boots for just 1 hour I had horrendous blisters on each heel and my big toe was bleeding, bruised and blistered to the point where my toe nail had lifted. The quality of the leather in my opinion is definitely not the same as it used to be, the heels and toes are rock hard and to me the sizing is off, the leather used to be really soft now it's extremely hard. I have since read other reviews stating the same issue with the poor quality of the leather that was once very soft and is now very hard. I contacted Berghaus immediately on the 11th October and it is now the 25th October and still no resolution. I have sent several emails and they told me the quality team were looking into this and included photos of the damage to my feet. I was then told they knew nothing about my issue and had no record of this after I phoned to query the progress. I have since sent the same emails again including pictures but they still said they needed photo evidence, as they claimed again to have not received the photo. I sent everything through again and have been told to wait for the quality team to investigate, they will not give me a timescale on this and I just keep on receiving generic emails regarding my complaint, if you phone up the operator they can only refer your complaint to the quality team as you are unable to speak to them yourselves. It's shocking customer service I spent £148.00 on these boots I expect if I buy boots online I am able to test them for 1 hour or else what's the point of purchasing online. I would advise people not to buy Berghaus boots on line due to the disgusting customer service I am experiencing.
Bought a pair of Revolute Active shoes…
Bought a pair of Revolute Active shoes not so long ago. Used mainly for dog walking in damp conditions. They've started to leak and as such are not fit for purpose and a waste of £130.
Noticed on their site that they are using Liam Gallagher to promote their clothes. A great role model and an icon for outdoor types.
Think I'll avoid them in future and stick to a less fashion focussed brand.
Not recommended.
Boots that don’t last like they used to!
Bought a pair of ladies leather walking boots from Berghaus . Though I’ve had them a while I’ve hardly worn them and now they regularly let water in. I’ve sprayed the boots and even put good old dubbin on them. They both still leak. Berghaus repair said it’s wear and tear !They've not had any wear for what boots should do! Nothing they can do but offer discount on the next pair As if I’m likely to buy the same boots ! Not the Berghaus quality I am used to . Go elsewhere .
Rubbish delivery!
My order from Berghaus has been wrecked by yet another totally irresponsible delivery by Evri!! My parcel containing over £100 value of goods was left OUTSIDE, in the dark, without knocking or ringing bell and in full view of road!! This was despite the CLEAR notice on our door which states "PLEASE LEAVE PARCELS INSIDE ENCLOSED FRONT PORCH". Totally irresponsible, appalling service and zero customer care by Evri!!!! Until Berghaus and similar traders refuse to use Evri this will continue. Berghaus need to use far more responsible couriers rather than taking the cheapest but most rubbish delivery option.

Nonostante tutto , dopo vari tentativi di contatto con l’ufficio clienti che mi ha sempre rimbalzato le risposte più disparate e nonostante io abbia nelle scorse settimane ricontattato il servizio clienti ancora non ho ricevuto il rimborso ( una cifra importante ). Fate attenzione ad acquistare e poi rendere perché io sto aspettando reclamando i miei diritti da mesi. Mai accaduto con nessun negozio online.
