Returned a Supalite walking boot as it…
Returned a Supalite walking boot as it was letting water in at the big toe area.
Only had the boots two and a half years and expected better service from a £135 pair. Lifetime warranty covered the boots.
Berghaus replied saying that the warranty did not cover the fault as it was a result of the gore lining being worn on the toe area. They offered 40% off a replacement .
Surely a fault in the material validates the warranty.
DON'T BUY BERGHAUS .
They don't honour their guarantee.

Bought a women's jacket about 4 weeks…
Bought a women's jacket about 4 weeks ago, very fast delivery. Came in about 2 days. Ended up being the wrong one. They asked me to send it back so did that night. New one was sent out about 3 days later. Emails received saying its been received on their end. New one comes, nice jacket but too big so send it back that night. Tracking linked to their email. 4 days go by. No refund, checked the tacking. Been delivered. So Contact them regarding the refund. Accused me of lying and not sending it back. 25 minutes later on live chat we've established I'm not a thief, great refund in next 3-5 days. Week goes by no refund. Back on live chat, again can you prove we've got it. Emails now confirming they've got it. Refund in 3-5 days still nothing. Had to open an investigation with my bank now for £105. Ridiculous. Never buying from them again. The cheek to accuse me of lying, and now won't refund me the money at all!!!

Great products, no doubt about that,however the returns process is confusing, slow, contorted. 2.5 weeks to get money back. They use Hermes who took over a week to get the item back to them

Superb service from Berghaus
Superb service from Berghaus. I bought a lightweight 'Hydroloft' jacket about five years ago and the main zip broke recently. During my search for repair options I found Berghaus Repair. I almost couldn't believe it; they would repair the zip FREE. All I had to do was pay for the postage to send it to them, they reaired it and sent it back within 10 days at no additional charge, Not the sort of service one expects these days. I will certainly buy their products again in the future.
