Good experience as a first time buyer, had good recommendations sent through and any questions I had were answered

As a first-time buyer, I wasn’t sure what to expect from the mortgage process, but Lacie and the team at Bernards made the experience straightforward and manageable. They were prompt in their communications, kept me updated at each stage, and were always ready to answer my questions. Their professionalism and efficiency helped reduce a lot of the stress that often comes with buying a first home.

I appreciate their support and would recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and responsive team when purchasing a property.

Lacie and the team at Bernard’s were very helpful during our sale and purchase. Lacie actually found our new house for us and helped lots with the same of our house. Nothing was too much trouble and we were kept up to date through the whole process. Thanks again!

Very efficient and communicative company, we had mortgage advice from Jamie alongside help with viewings from Lacie, both were extremely helpful. Considering the 'moving pieces' between areas in the business, we were never slowed down.

This was my first time going through the process of renting a property and from the outset I was impressed with the service I received. My agent was Jasmine and she was amazing at making things understandable for my partner and I as well as keeping us in the loop in regards to the progression of our application and the moving in process.

Terrible experience with the Gosport office. Withdrew our property and listed with a competitor.
Aggressive and rude staff, deeply unprofessional and harassed to use lawyers.
Promised portal access with data - it’s garbage!
Other agents in the area show how awful Bernard’s are. Total waste of time.

Toby sold our house on the first day!
Toby was excellent from start to finish. We viewed a few properties with Toby and decided that he was the perfect person to sell our home, which he did on the first day of viewings, at asking price. We would definitely use Bernards/Toby again in the future.

Booked a viewing and was left waiting outside the building. When I called to ask about it, they acted confused, but, after a very long phone call, agreed to a viewing the next day. They then cancelled this viewing with only 2 hours notice.

As someone with very limited time off from work, this has been a miserable experience.

Our experience with North End Bernards (Portsmouth) in finding a house to rent with Lucy was exceptional. She was really helpful and made the process as smooth as possible. We were quite stressed with needing to find a home quickly and Lucy helped every step of the way. I would highly recommend Bernard’s and if at all possible to ask for Lucy as agent. She was fantastic.
