Better Body Equipment Reviews 

I posted a review to the Better Body website; however, it has yet to appear. Judging by the consistent 5 star reviews I would assume this company only approves / makes visible its positive reviews.

I was very excited about my adjustable dumbbell purchase, but I was quickly left disappointed. I have had my dumbbells for just under a week, they arrived on Saturday, and two days after use I noticed a crack in the plastic. Please note the dumbbells were not dropped. I also did not inspect them upon arrival so I cannot be certain if it was cracked at delivery. Since the product was brand new, I immediately emailed customer service. I was told they can “guarantee” (not sure how you can guarantee) that the product was not cracked at packing as they very carefully pack their product. I was asked if I would wait until a claim is filed with the courier, or worst case scenario, I would have to pay for a replacement dumbbell plus shipping. I was quite surprised by the notion to make the customer pay for a new product, showing the company’s lack of standing by their quality. When I received the product, the Better Body stickers applied to the product were peeling off. One, reflecting poorly on their brand and two, clearly an early indicator of the quality. When I was working out yesterday, the cap on the dial to adjust the weight popped off. Another indicator or poor quality. They say they offer a 2 year warranty (how about even a one week warranty?) but will find every reason to put their failure of their equipment on someone else instead of backing their quality. We purchase a lot of quality fitness equipment in our household and will not be purchasing from Better Body again due to this.

UPDATE: I was pleased to have my concerns elevated to Better Body management, who is now sending me a replacement piece for the damaged product without waiting for the claim to be filed with the courier. Thank you Better Body! I look forward to receiving the new piece in the mail (I received a shipping notification) and hope to have no further issues. While initially dissatisfied, I was happy to have my concerns heard and remediated. Change in my initial 1 star review to 4 stars based on listening to the customer.

Purchased the dumbbell rack by accident. Cancelled the order within minutes. Have been waiting 5 weeks for a refund of the money and continue to get the run around about a refund. Last week it was their system was down, who knows what this weeks excuse will be. Starting to believe this is a scam company. Would not recommend.

James and the staff over at Better Body were amazing to work with. The quality of their equipment is just as good and if not even better than that which you will find in your local gym. I cannot recommend using Better Body highly enough. Excellent communication, fast shipping, and an amazing product. What more could you want?

I ordered the 70 lb twist adjustable dumbells. The price was the best I could find online with this style of adjustable dumbell. I received the dumbells today and I am very satisfied with my purchase! James was always timely in his response to my questions and communications! I will continue to do business with Better Body Equipment! Kudos!

Scammer alert! I bought a dumbell set + weight rack on their website for $341.96 (there was a 10% discount involved) and I have a screenshot of the advertisement to prove. After than they sent an email saying that the set did not include any dumbells and they would either send just the plain rack or charge my card $999,00 for the set. I tried to call them and the number they give you as contact is Healthcare Marketplace.
I am still waiting for the cancelation to come without any means to contact them.

I placed my first order with this company on December 31, 2022, looking for a barbell and weight set. I found that their Barbell and Weight Bundle was a great deal so I went with them. Honestly, my first experience was not looking good. There was a hold on my order because of payment authentication issues (my credit card hold) and when I would try to contact customer service on their phone line, the line was always full.

However, here's the reason why I rated them 5 stars and why I would purchase from them again. I emailed their customer service dept. and James, helped me through the entire process. He willingly establish a phone call to approve my payment authentication and my items were shipped immediately.
My 2nd point was that my barbell wasn't packaged correctly and was damaged through the process and I showed proof. Better Body was extremely helpful and compensated me at a high standard. Thank you James!

Lastly, the quality of the materials is up to par. The barbell is heavy and seems durable. The weight set was also shipped with care and they look amazing! They're a bit glossy and have a nice metal clanking sound. I could see this set lasting long.

When you are buying fitness equipment for your home gym you want to be sure of the quality of the product and the service provided from the company. After days of research and a visit to see, I am happy with my choice of the Better Body Equipment. They offer the most quality service of all I had experienced.

Better Body was great to deal with. We outfitted a gym for an Airbnb and it has been a hit. The equipment was straightforward to put together and is sturdy and good quality. The adjustable dumbbells are really intuitive and work really well.
Reviews of the gym equipment from guests have been super positive.

Bought a squat rack and haven’t been disappointed since opening it 10/10

I ordered the hex bumbbell set with storage rack. The price was cheaper than at other stores but the hassle of purchasing from this company is not worth the few hundred saved. The set was shipped more than six months past what it was supposed to. The shipping company damaged the storage rack, I sent pictures of the boxes I received with items falling out of the completely torn up boxes and smashed pallet that was completely falling apart. I had the delivery guy note the damage and he took pictures of all the damaged parts. I contacted the company and provided all info and pictures. They asked for more pictures, I provided them, they asked for length measurements and I told them they should know that info since it is their product, they insisted I take measurements because they needed to know what size it was so I sent a screenshot of the rack from their website that listed the measurements and told them to send it in it’s entirety or I would report them to bbb. It took another six months to get a few replacement parts because they refused to replace the entire damage storage rack. The stress of trying to get the remaining pieces is not worth it so I give up. Do not buy from them, the few dollars saved is not worth the terrible service they have.

Recently bought an adjustable bench from these guys - last missing piece to my home gym! Hit a few workouts with it already and it’s perfect. Very stable, comfortable, and looks good.

Overall great experience with better body and would definitely recommend to anyone who’s looking to build a home gym!

Ordered the 4.5-70lb twist grip dumbbells which have enhanced my workouts dramatically. My only criticism is in the design. The plate hooks in the cradle and the receivers in the end plates could stand a slight redesign allowing a deeper connection as the remaining plates in the cradle have a tendency to tip over when there are only 1 or 2 left in the cradle. Outside of that criticism, I couldn't be more satisfied with the dumbbells as well as the level of customer service. Thank you.

Ordered several items from Better Body over the last year, including a pair of adjustable dumbbells for a christmas present. Everything came on time. There was one mix-up with pricing but customer service helped me out and everything was resolved within days.

Do not order from the company. They will ship late or not at all and hood your money. I cancelled a $1300 order before it shipped. They sent the product somewhere else and are saying that I need to pay over $800 in shipping/freight charges meanwhile I cancelled before it shipped and shipping was under $490. This is a fraudulent business.
No one will call you back and they give you the run around if you ask for a refund etc.

Had a great experience with my order! Building my home gym has been a work in progress, I love the customer support team helping answer my questions!

Buyer Beware,
I purchased a dumbbell set on Dec. 13th and reached out to cancel my order that same day realizing I ordered the wrong item. I asked if they sold the product I was looking for and they told me no and I requested a refund. It has now been over 3 weeks and still no refund. Their customer service is awful and when you try to call a voice mail picks right up. I have left messages and only got responses after I emailed them. I am so unhappy that I have not yet received my refund and I want to warn future customers not to buy from them. I have even filed a claim with the BBB. I feel like I have been scammed. So sad.
