Still waiting for a reply from you.

Hello, I need to cancel my plan with you, as I no longer need it. I've already deleted the Esim. I contacted you through the support page yesterday, and I've had no reply from you. You've taken money from my bank account £41.00 today which I don't understand as I've deleted the Esim, and I want to cancel my plan with you. Can you contact me please, thank you. Can I have my money back.

Leider ist die Uhr 90% nicht erreichbar…

Leider ist die Uhr 90% nicht erreichbar und auch nicht sichtbar. Neues Update auf dem iPhone und der Uhr. Trotzdem keine Erreichbarkeit gegeben.
Mit Kundendienst geschrieben und Anweisungen mehrfach durchgeführt. Keine Besserung!

Support is not answering for 40 hours.
I’m soon out of the ship’s internet and they cannot answer my e-mails. Don’t use this internet provider, better use some other, if you don’t want to wait like an idiot.

Keeps charging me for cancelled service

This firm keeps charging me a daily fee despite me cancelling and raising a support ticket. They sent one email asking for more details and then have not replied. There is no contact phone number or ability to manage the account or cancel on their website. Feels backward and scammy.

Was never able to set this up

Was never able to set this up. Tried so many times. Didn't get activation notification. SO frustrating to wait 24 hours for a response through a webform.

Worst cellular service for Apple Watch

Worst cellular service for Apple watch.
Cannot connect cellular data. Cannot call cannot send text messages.

I don't understand Why Apple working with the company.

Bug qui coûte très cher

Attention: problèmes à l’ouverture de la e-sim, c’est donc mon opérateur d’origine qui a fonctionné alors que je me débattais avec la e-sim. Résultat : 60€ de frais supplémentaire. Donc méfiez vous de BetterRoaming: prix attractif mais ça peut coûter très très cher si leur e-sim fonctionne mal

Service did not work. Unqualified CS, Refunding took forever

Update January 6, 2025: Changed from 1 Star to 3 Stars
After weeks of trying to explain my situation, someone finally realized they in fact charged me money (which was denied by BetterRoaming for weeks) and eventually refunded me. Will stay at 3 stars as it cost a lot of time and energy arguing with their CS about a super simple and clear matter.

It's not great being left stranded in a foreign country without internet when you relied on an eSim from BetterRoaming. What's even worse is when they outright deny that you even purchased the service from them, although I have the plan visibly available as purchased in my Better Roaming App, a BetterRoaming eSim in my device and a charge on my credit card from their parent company "TP Global Operations". They cannot refund me "because they never charged me and I bought my plan at another provider", although my credit card statement clearly shows the charge with their merchant ID.
The is the stupidest "explanation" I ever heard in my life.
PS: eSIM from another provider worked instantly and reliable

My plan for Apple Watch do not work.

My plan for Apple Watch do not work.
I paid 8,99 and my plan is not active.
I take also a data plan 3,89 to make it works with my Apple Watch but it do not work.
Son I paid almost 13€ for nothing.

Please note, that our Apple Watch plans works solely in the countries you bought the plan for. We do not offer Apple Watch services in Belgium.
Moreover, connecting an Apple Watch with a BetterRoaming data plan is not possible.

Apple Watch STILL does not make or receive calls

My Apple Watch eSIM does not work. The network coverage is extremely poor (in central Manchester!) The Watch cannot make or receive calls even when it does have network connection. I was getting support via Better Roaming, I did all the tests they asked me to do, I even went to an Apple Store and had them check that it wasn't an issue with the Watch. The Apple Store said the Watch is 100% fine and it is an eSIM issue. But now Better Roaming are ignoring my emails. I don't know why they can't just give me a new eSIM and see if that resolves the issue. They don't accept phone calls so I am now stuck paying for an eSIM that does not work and no way to resolve this. It was Case 02353281.

Abbuchung ohne Nutzung

Hallo,
habe mir im September 24 betterroaming für eine Segelreise in Südfrankreich abonniert. Seither wird mir monatlich 15€ für 30 Tage Verlängerung abgebucht, obwohl ich den Service nicht mehr nutzen kann, da ich in Deutschland wohne. Habe Betrag zurück gefordert, mal sehen wie es weitergeht.

Lets you down in the moment you need it.

My wife is stranded without data overseas even though all steps were followed to perfection to setup eSim. It didn't activate on arrival. No phone number to call. Support take almost 24hrs per email. This is still ongoing. Even better, their solution is to delete the plan (you cant, tapping on it does nothing) and buy another. This hasn't worked and we have now paid for two plans and still have no data. This is shocking given anyone using this service obviously has limited access to data!!! It might even just be a scam.

Create a mobile app

You delayed several days between answering survey and received voucher.
Your approach requires me to memorize URL to evaluate my usage of data.
Why not an mobile app like Airalo?
Airalo is much easier.

So far works just as described, been using in Glasgow and the central belt, no problems so far, fair prices, will continue with it

It was suspicious from the start...auto-renew without permission

It was suspicious from the start. I purchased a 1-month plan for £40 and made sure I disabled auto-renew. I immediately received a receipt that says I paid £27. There was no venue to correct this mistake as the receipt was sent from "noreply...". Then a month later, just now, Tp Global ("the company making the billing) charged me for another month! I logged into the website and there was no route to manage or cancel subscription! I tried the iPad method to disable auto renew but I did it last time too! So I deleted the ESIM and called my Bank to block this merchant. My bank told me that blocking this merchant may make it difficult to renew any services with them and I told the bank that I will never use this merchant again.

Terrible service ever since BetterRoaming took over

Had no issues for almost 3 years when it was TruPhone, but once it became branded as BetterRoming over the summer the service went downhill. I was on a month-to-month plan and my service got disconnected due to my credit card expired when it came time for renewal (this part is my fault, so I totally understand). So after I updated my credit card to reinstate my account, BetterRoaming charged me *AGAIN* after one week because they kept the original renewal date (even though I had no service for 3 weeks). So basically I paid for an entire month, for only 1 week of service. I emailed the CS agent back and forth, and they said there was nothing they could do. Obviously, after several emails I just gave up as it wasn't worth the trouble nor my time. I moved over to another service provider since then and much happier. I think BetterRoaming should put more resources to their actual customer service, rather than scanning and replying Trustpilot reviews for damage control. Good riddance.

When a payment method expires, the account does get suspended, as you noted. Once you updated your card, we charged only for the current month’s service as scheduled. I understand it may feel like you missed out on those three weeks without service, but this payment covered the full month from your original renewal date, rather than billing you twice.
