Perfect stay at Stourford Barn
We stayed at Stourford Barn as part of my husband’s 50th birthday weekend with the family. The barn was absolutely perfect with stunning, high-end fixtures and fittings. We couldn’t have asked for anymore. To make it even more special we hired a private chef and it was just perfect.

Perfect for a large family celebration.
Beautiful and very well appointed house, ideal for a large family gathering, with the advantage of a delightful peaceful cottage on the beach as well.
We were 19 family members, 10 adults and 9 children celebrating my 80th Birthday, aged between 18 months and 81. It was perfect for everyone.
Maddie was very helpful on arrival. She had personalised the bedrooms for the children and the Cinema room offered so much entertainment for us all, especially the children. Lots of different seating areas in the garden to sit and chat and for eating.
We all had the most perfect weekend. Thank you Maddie. Highly recommend. We would all love to return one day.

Great Oak Farm sets the standard for large family accommodation
We thoroughly enjoyed our return visit to Great Oak Farm.
Our group ranged in age from 11 to 88, and the house worked perfectly for everyone. The thoughtful layout meant that different generations could enjoy their own space, allowing everyone to relax without worrying about disturbing one another.
We have stayed in many large holiday homes for our annual family get-togethers, and we can honestly say we have never found another property that comes close to Great Oak Farm.
Some of the highlights were:
• An exceptionally well-equipped kitchen. It had absolutely everything we could have needed and more. The two dishwashers, along with the generous supply of complimentary dishwasher tablets, made catering for (and clearing up after) a large group effortless. There is also an abundance of crockery, cutlery, mugs and glasses, which is something we've found lacking in many other large holiday rentals.
• Every bedroom has its own en-suite. This is surprisingly difficult to find in a property of this size and made a huge difference to our stay.
• Everything worked. It may seem like an unusual thing to mention, but we've stayed in properties where essential appliances such as ovens, hobs and dishwashers haven't been working. At Great Oak Farm, everything was in excellent condition and functioned exactly as it should. Overall the houses and grounds are very well maintained.
• The welcome gifts. These were a wonderful surprise and incredibly generous, both in quality and quantity. It was a lovely touch that made us feel genuinely welcomed as soon as we arrived.
• Beds and bedding. Quite possibly the most comfortable beds, pillows, duvets and bedding was all exceptional quality.
Great Oak Farm sets the standard for large family accommodation. We wouldn't hesitate to return again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a spacious, comfortable and beautifully maintained property for a family gathering.

Great company to hire a house from
Great company to hire a house from! Communication was great throughout and all instructions were given thoroughly before check in. We stayed at the Three Little Pigs for a hen party of 15 women and it was beautiful! Very happy with the host too who greeted us at check in and check out.
2 things for improvement.
1. The cleanliness of the house at check in wasn’t as great as we hoped. A lot of pots were dirty and we had to wash all of the mugs at check in before we used them.
2. You have to pay a £1000 damage deposit by bank transfer. This is a lot of money to ask of people for a bank transfer and would be better if you could use credit card as we had to source this money. But it was returned to us 3 days after we checked out which was great.
Apart from that everything from the booking process, to check in was great! I’d just maybe recommend a different cleaning company for the Three little pigs house.

It is a fabulous house and location close to Keswick town centre, everything is perfect, except if you’re cooking for 20 people the cooker can be a little difficult to use and needs some larger pans. Otherwise excellent

Brockhall Park, excellent property for families
We had a fantastic family time at this property. The fabulous pool, the acres of land and the outside seating kept three generations extremely happy and busy, we would have all loved to stay longer. The cinema room was a big hit with the children and the house felt lived in so had a homely feel to it. The Big House Team were very friendly and helpful from start to finish. Would highly recommend this house and the company.

Our family get together at Brynglas Manor
Our family get together at Brynglas Manor was wonderful. A beautiful spacious old house with excellent facilities for the 10 of us (aged between 13 and 81 years old). The extensive outdoor space and garden were a real benefit as we had great weather and were able to eat outside on 3 of the 4 nights we stayed. Loads of space inside as well so we were all able to spread out and relax. The views and sunsets were brilliant! Would recommend for similar family gatherings without question.

Was a family celebration
Was a family celebration.
Rooms were all clean and tidy and great location. Went to Lowestoft and into Norwich . Plenty for the children to do, they loved the games room and the hot tub.
Would have scored more but I stayed in top double bedroom with en-suite and there was a smell of drains. It would also have been good if the mobile number given responded to my call.

Just Perfect!
Olive House is a wonderful place to spend time with an extended family group. The outdoor spaces were perfect for relaxing chatting, eating, swimming and spreading out! Very thoughtfully and flexibly designed.inside, all the bedrooms are a pleasure to be in, and the bathrooms beautiful too. Lots of breakout spaces on the ground floor, fabulous kitchen and dining area. Everything has been designed with entertaining and being entertained in mind - too many examples to mention! Juliet was very helpful with anything we had questions about both beforehand and during our stay. We were made to feel that nothing was too much trouble. Would love to go again!

Courtyard Granary
Details of property were very accurate and they suited our needs perfectly. The location was excellent, handy for all the East Yorkshire coast. The property was very well equipped and as we were on holiday with lots of children of varying ages, it wasn’t too perfect that I was panicking about breakages etc. ( In the end 1 mug handle in a week stay with 6 adults and 6 children was brilliant)

An excellent place for our family stay
Pengarth Castle was an excellent place for our family stay. There were 20 of us - from grandparents (their 80th birthdays) to parents to teenage grandchildren. We all loved it. The rooms were lovely - each with beautiful sea or garden views. We had dinners at the long table in the Hall or ouside overlooking the water. We spent time in the hot-tub, had a medieval reenactment, a black-tie evening, a big poker game, and, unfortunately, even watched England, on the large TV, lose their World Cup football game. We also saw the young Osprey at the nearby local centre make their first flights. A memorable holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at The Big House Experience at The White Hart in Brigg. The house was perfect for our group, with plenty of space for everyone to relax, socialise, and enjoy the weekend together.
One of the highlights was having access to the keg system. We stocked it with Dark Fruit and beer, which was a great touch and really added to the experience. It made the house feel unique and was ideal for spending quality time together without needing to head out.
The property was clean, well maintained, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location is also great, with Brigg town centre within easy reach if you want to explore.
Overall, The Big House Experience is a brilliant option for large groups looking for a fun, private getaway. We'd definitely recommend it and would happily book again in the future.
