Terrible and traumatic experience! Went for a regular business lunch with a client and asked the waiter if we could be seated on a larger table as the one he gave us was tiny and we order a lot of food. There were lots of tables but he refused to move us. After I told him that we would be leaving another waiter who was stood next to him called me a Tw*T! I asked him to repeat what he said as I was in shock and he repeated it again and said "you're a FU**ING TW*T!" My client that I was with said you can't talk to customers like that and he said I don't give a SH*T it's my last day! We spoke to the manager who apologised and said that somebody would be in touch within 24 hours. 5 days later and I hadn't heard a word back form anybody so had to chase head office! The manager had lied to them denying that she said someone would get back in touch with me just to add salt to the wound! I was offered a meal voucher but obviously won't be returning. This is the most shocking and disappointing experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant in my life and shouldn't happen to anybody.

Went to Bill's in bluewater for a treat as my two daughters wanted to spend there Christmas/birthday money that they had saved up. So decided to treat them to a nice lunch the staff member that severed us was nice but no different from meeting someone in cheaper establishment. The food tasted good but unfortunately the hidden service charge on the bill left a bit if a sour taste in my mouth. As the food was already expensive I don't feel I should be forced to pay a tip. It should be at my discretion. As I don't expect to be tipped in my line of work. Paying a extra £12 pound on top of my meal was not fair and I definitely won't be eating there again.

Had the loveliest experience at Bill’s on my birthday! The staff were incredibly kind and made the day feel extra special. They surprised me with a complimentary dessert, complete with a birthday candle—such a thoughtful touch! The service was warm, attentive, and welcoming. A perfect place for a celebratory meal!

Went to Bill's for brunch with friends. The menu was appealing, but the execution fell short. My avocado toast was soggy, and the poached eggs were overcooked. Not the worst experience, but certainly not worth the price.

Went here for dinner last night for the first time. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and is decorated really well. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. We were served by Fin and he was great. The food was excellent. My husband had the bourbon brisket burger and he said it’s one of the best burgers he’s ever had (that’s a big deal) it’s really reasonably priced considering the quality of the food. So glad we’ve found this place, we will definitely be going back again!

We booked lunch at Bill's in Braintree as I had an offer of a free bottle of Prosecco as it was my birthday. As there was just the two of us and one had to drive it wouldn't have been possible to drink the whole bottle at lunchtime so we asked if we could accept the free bottle and take away but still purchase drinks with our meal (a small wine for my wife and two large beers for me total cost £23.40). No they wouldn't allow us to have the free Prosecco unless we drank it all with our meal. I'm sure as we said we would but other drinks they could have let us have the free bottle to takeaway.

When going into Bills for the £5 bottomless pancakes we were greeted with a menu saying £9.50 and £5 on Fridays only with no warning outside very dissopinted.

Bluewater. Took 40 minutes for the food to eventually arrive, only for them to have got the order wrong. One plate was correct and the other not. They offered to allow one of us to eat whilst the other waited (for an unknown time). We saw another table of four leave because of the delayed service. Sorry but if your kitchen isn’t coping then sort it, or close off some of your tables to help it out!

Good atmosphere and food, enjoyed our time in York and Bristol.

Lovely food. Not bad price-wise for eating out in a restaurant. Mainly get the breakfast and always enjoy it. Gurjeet was our server and was very tentative and polite. As all the staff have been. Bluewater Bills

I attempted to book a table at the London Victoria restaurant, and on trying do this online the Website rejected both emails so I tried to phone and book. I was then only given an automated service telling me to book online I tried the 'help' which sent me around in circles, so was unable book which was extremely frustrating. Bill's need to address this issue or risk loosing bookings.

I have visited Bills Covent Garden and also the Bills Greenwich which I went many times and is a lovely place have food at any time of the day. Caroline the manager on duty at Greenwich has welcome us even without reservation . The food tasty, with generous portions, great atmosphere and quick service. This Bills is indeed the Top 1 from all I have visited in London.

I absolutely love the food at Bills and the staff are always very efficient and friendly… however, and I hate to be that person who moans but..unless you are sat right over the other side of the restaurant you are constantly feeling the chill from selfless people who are waiting to get a table standing in the doorway holding it open!! It’s put me right off the place, they need a waiting foyer or sort something so as these things don’t happen, I can’t be the only person this annoys surely!! Shame because as I say the food is fantastic.
