I recently purchased a new car from the Washington branch of the Birchwood Group and couldn’t have been happier with both the car and customer experience provided by this dealer.
The Sales Executive (Matthew Hemingway) was both knowledgeable and attentive without being pushy which isn’t always the case under these circumstances.
I’m sure the after sales support, servicing etc will to the same high standard as retail side of the business.

I'd definitely recommend Birchwood Kia Washington because the process of buying our car was super easy and well explained from the onset. Our sales rep, Matt, was accommodating, friendly, and always easy to contact—nothing ever felt rushed or pressured. The whole experience was smooth, professional, and genuinely reassuring from start to finish.

Looking at previous reviews, what happened to us today seems to be a regular issue. We booked a car in for some warranty work to be done, 3 weeks in advance only to find on arrival that the service advisors we had booked in with had failed to make the booking on their system. As we had made notes of the booking, we were even able to name the two service advisors we had discussed and made the booking with, this made no difference and we were dismissed completely, no apologies, no effort to resolve the issue and help rectify their mistake, simply telling us that it would be another 3 weeks before they could carry out the warranty work. The three service advisors on the service desk did not seem to be bothered in the slightest, nor remotely care and were very un-helpful.

Lucky we phoned another local Kia dealer and explain what had happed to us and was told unfortunately this wasn’t the first time they had heard of this happening with this particular dealer and they even managed to book us in for the following week to have the warranty work completed.

Based on my experience today, we will not be using Birchwood Washington again and they don’t even deserve a one star review but this is the lowest I can give.

After telling us the car needed a new starter motor, car had nothing wrong with it when we got it home. Just tried to make money from us. Rude liars. Pity they don’t know their job properly

We purchased a second hand car with Matt at Washington. We were greeted by Matt who made us feel welcome we sat down and he explained about Kia and the car we liked. The whole experience was very smooth and straightforward.Full marks.

I was happy with the service at Birchwood Kia Eastbourne because they met all of my needs and left me feeling a valued customer. There were a few minor issues with the car upon inspection but they put these right quickly and efficiently. Recommend.

Recent MOT carried out here on my MG. They found an oil leak in transmission and car returned for this to be repaired under warranty.

Three days later I had my car on with another MG dealer for unrelated electrical work and then found that the transmission oil leak was still occurring.

We purchased a fab Nissan Qashqai from Birchwood Kia in Chichester. The vehicle was in amazingly good condition.
Their customer service is faultless. Sam was a great help. Always there in case we had questions and more than happy to deal with any concerns with either the new car or our trade-in vehicle.

Brought a car from here four months ago. It had advisories on the MOT for the rear and front brake discs. We told them we don't want the car then Liam emailed and said he will give it a new MOT with no advisories and will do anything that needs doing. So we agreed to getting the car only to find out four months later that they didn't do the break discs. We only found out as it went for it's full service and they said the front brake discs are illegal! Please do not buy a second hand car from here.

Had a great experience buying my third Ford car but my first Ford at this garage and by myself. The process was made easy and smooth by Martin who was extremely helpful throughout. Communication was good and would definitely recommended to anyone looking for a new car!
