I bought a 2nd hand Sportage GT Line S with low mileage this week. Joshua, the sales executive was very professional and explained all paperwork very well. I also bought a "gap insurance" at the same time.
Car was as described, with just one scratch on one alloy. Very happy with the service, and will recommend to friends and family.

I have been looking at buying my first Electric Vehicle for a while and finally decided to go for the Kia E-Niro. I had been researching a fair bit for used EVs online and had multiple interactions with many used cars dealership. To my disappointment most of them had very little knowledge regarding electric vehicles and could not answer my questions. I was very pleased to come across Birchwood Kia Washington. After a quick phone conversation I booked a test drive. On the day Matthew was very pleasant and knowledgeable. He had many tips and extra information about the car. The thing i found extremely professional (which other dealership were not able to supply) was the paperwork supplied to me prior purchase with the state of health of the battery and few other interesting details about the vehicle. No pressure or hard sell techniques and nice and well presented dealership. All in all I am very pleased with my experience with Birchwood Kia Washington and I would highly recommend it to family and friends

We have recently purchased a KIA EV3, Via KIA Birchwood Washington. After a full demonstration by Matthew, and a fair part exchange offer, our new care was delivered on time. (the only minor hiccup being one of the optional extras had not even been made yet by Kia, so not installed)
Matthew took plenty of time at the handover, to explain the numerous features. Only driven 60 miles but so far.....all good!

On 27th December I paid two (fully refundable) £99 deposits so that I could test drive two cars. I did not want either car so asked for a refund. One repayment came back to me on 2nd January, as of 8th January I have still not received the 2nd refund despite emailing again.

We are very pleased with the service we recently received from Birchwood Kia when we bought a high quality, low mileage used EV Niro. Matt, the sales executive, made the entire process very easy, from giving us a good trade-in on our old car to ensuring that the new one was ready at the time promised. He also took the time to show us how everything worked.

Very pleased with the purchase of a new Kia . The communication from our sales advisor was excellent and car arrived within the timeframe we were given . Josh Hammett was excellent and ensured everything was ready for a drive away first time experience.
He did not rush and yet did not take his time. He understands the pace of how people wish to be looked after.

I would recommend Birchwood MG - Eastbourne to friends and family because I bought my car from them and had a great service from their sales team especially Samuel who spent extra time to explained the benefits of buying it and even picked me up from Eastbourne station.

Great communication, well prepped bike and ease of purchase from start to finish and finally a prompt delivery.

From initial telephone enquiry through to driving my 'new' used vehicle off the forecourt, I cannot fault the Birchwood used car dealership team. Whilst we interacted with a number of the team during the purchase of the car, we dealt primarily with Sam who's level of customer service was outstanding. I am a very happy customer, thank you team!

Went to service car and spent 500 on an oil change and engine flush, poor service , mechanics don’t explain exactly what the problem is and leave it to receptionist,
Useless video not showing what’s wrong with car and just get a phone call saying can you add an extra hour of labour to investigate further…
Overall rip off

They are incredible attentive right up until they have your payment. After 8 months my engine was rendered in drivable by 4 different mechanics, and I was told under no circumstances. They then let me know that I had a 7 week wait for it to be seen and repaired under warranty, and that they do not have a curtesy car, and would not cover the cost of a hire car. Don’t sell £1000 services that you can’t deliver

Kia Picanto only 5 months old and lost power. Chichester Kia couldn’t look at it for 3 days as no one available to do diagnostics. Had car for whole day, found problem and was asked to go back 6 days later to have new part fitted. Asked to arrive at 9am and when I asked how long they would need the car they didn’t know - will phone when ready! Asked for a courtesy car but none available for 3 weeks! Had to go home - walk to town, 15 minutes, bus home an hour later. Had to do it all in reverse once I was phoned at 2.10pm when car was ready. This is simply not good enough. Surely if the garage know what needs to be done they could give customers a two hour window in which the repair could be done. Service department needs to get its act together, just not good enough.

Went to go and view a Kia Ceed 6500miles (HY70HHG), we traveled just under two hours, was told to arrive to see the car at 13:00, so we arrived at 13:00 and the sales guy came out and said I’m running 10/15 minutes late so you can either wait and look round it or have a tea/coffee.
I chose to look around it (being in the automotive industry). I found some very alarming things for a car they stated was in excellent condition.

The front bumper was a completely different shade of red (not even close) and was then fobbed off saying “oh the bumper is a different type of plastic, it's the same on all cars” yet this is not the case at all, it's obviously been repainted or the bumper replaced.

The inside centre console looked like it has been chewed by a rat, during the test drive (another 20 minutes after he originally said he'd be about 10/15 mins, so overall waited 30-45 minutes before he consulted with us properly) he threw the trade plates on the dash board and throughout the drive allowed it to slide up and down the dash scratching the dash without a care in the world. Then when it was our turn to test drive the car, he took the plates out of the window (something that should have been kept in the window throughout and not with him on the backseat) and apologised for being late saying the previous customers took an hour to test drive the car as they got lost, which was another lie as we'd seen them getting in the car to test drive it and when they arrived back at the forecourt, which lasted all of about 20 minutes.

When we returned, I had another look as he was off telling his next client he wasn’t ready. I noticed all four tyres were perished and cracked to the point they were showing the cords and yet this never showed up on the mot or during the time when it was looked over by the kia team themselves.

Overall, a completely wasted trip with misleading and false information and a service that was despicable and full of excuses and lies.

The member of staff who deals with the mobility offered to bring a car to my home so I could view it (mobility informed me that this shouldn't happen).
Being a lone female with an un-obvious disability the male member of staff on being invited into my home to do the paperwork for the car loan, thought it was appropriate to insult me, make demeaning comments and have a derogatory attitude towards me. Being more proffesional than the member of staff, I have made the male member of staff and mobility aware of my dissatisfaction with the service.
Mobility have made the manager at Birchwood ford Eastbourne aware of the problem. Sadly the manager sent me an unsatisfactory apology and didn't address how he was going to resolve the problem.
