It's the best AI I've ever used, it helps me a lot in college, it provides coherent and complete answers, and it makes beautiful slide presentations. My brother is a developer and uses it a lot! He can generate code, create apps, and build websites in SECONDS! everything this AI can do is insane! I highly recommend it!!

Scammers, 0 verification on purchases, 1 accidental button click and boom -$70 from your account. Ridiculous. And support is useless as well, the response email said they'll contact me in the next 24 hours but there has been no answer for the past week and a half now, + my support ticket was deleted unanswered.

Update (08.03.2026) I got the refund in the end. Took like a month of waiting, but at least my money is back. The support team contact information was very difficult to find, though.

The tool is alright - however if you value your money don’t use it. It is truly a scam. I got the 40$ PRO MAX subscription and got rate limited after 8 prompts. Until the software started trying to juice me for more money. Then when I reached out to customer support. He just said “this doesn’t look right” and told me to hop on a call. WHAT?!?! I don’t have time to hop on a call fix the software.

I raised a formal support ticket to address the overcharging and received no response. It is unacceptable to take extra money from customers and then ignore their requests for help. I have now cancelled my subscription because the service is poor and the billing practices are untrustworthy.

If you value your money and expect basic support, look elsewhere. I am still waiting for a refund for the unauthorized charges."

The default blackbox.ai is stupid and writes python scripts with no indents. When used through the web interface it thinks it is in a terminal with the user and offers files that dont actually exist outside its confines, its a mess. The website designer did a terrible job with the data i gave it and returned a generic business site that simply wrote marketing jibberish over the mockup i uploaded. Got far better results from CoderUI's website tool. The default model (BLACKBOX.AI) feels like its years outdated. I get better results from a local 8gb LLM. Luckily I only put $10 in with a virtual card so I didn't get hit with the continual charges others complain about. Frustrated me enough that I created an account on this site.

Literal scamers, i accidentally bought some credits and aksed them to refund me. They acknowledged that it was unsed and will be refunded, after that there's no sight of them let alone any sight of refund. Completely ghosted me, no reply of my emails since.

I tested the Blackbox CLI and burned through $50 of credits in a single day doing the same type of work I normally handle with the Gemini CLI. The subscription simply preloads API credits and doesn’t offer meaningful value. The credits disappear very quickly under typical CLI usage. Also, the context compression used in Blackbox CLI is useless.
Avoid.

Scammers. Closed my account and they are still charging me every month. It’s been 5 months since I allegedly closed my subscriptions and they are still charging me. I’ve emailed and gone as far as blocking the charges via my bank, but they still try to charge me. If you like losing money and having no customer support, this is your company.

I feel completely cheated by Blackbox AI’s billing model.

I purchased the $4.99/month plan, which clearly advertised 20,000 credits. When I used the browser extension, it showed multiple models as options. Naturally, I assumed that the models available to me while using the tool were covered under the same subscription I had already paid for.

However, after using it in good faith, I was suddenly told I had used $40 worth of credits, and around ₹3,700 was charged to my account. At no point did the product clearly warn me that selecting certain models would incur extra paid credits beyond my plan, or that I was crossing any limit.

This feels like an extremely misleading and predatory way to design a pricing and UX flow. I trusted that my $4.99 subscription with 20k credits would be respected, not silently bypassed with hidden upsell charges in the background. This is my hard-earned money, and I would never have used those models if Blackbox had made the extra costs transparent upfront.

Used to work great but now has a popup that blocks the generated content....making it impossible to see without buying a subscription. Lots of other free AI generators out there.

i dont know why i pay 14$ worth ai ever stupid even if u use claude no dont ever try it , all video about it are fake stupid ai

Stay away from this scam people

After several days of use, it became clear that this product does not deliver what is advertised. The “AI agent” functionality is extremely limited and does not resemble what is marketed on the extension page.
I requested a refund and was told my account would be reviewed. After that, I received repeated copy-paste replies with no resolution. Weeks passed with no refund and eventually no replies at all.
Poor product quality combined with unresponsive support. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before paying.
