Blackstone Surveyors Reviews

Blackstone surveyors - and particularly Omar - are consummate professionals who recognize the true value in property and act with a reliability and level of trust that the rest of the property industry should aspire to. I have engaged many surveyors before and Omar was hands-down the best. He was responsive, acted quickly to accomodate challenging timelines, and produced a report on a unique property that showed that he genuinely thought about the details, the context, not only of the property itself but of the wider economy and market. Omar has my good recommendation and business for the rest of my life.

Absolutely brilliant and reliable. I utilised Blackstone Surveyors for a home valuation and Omar was kind, approachable, and most importantly reliable. He completed the work in the time he promised, gave a good price. I highly recommend

I rang around a few different companies before choosing Blackstone. They were the most knowledgeable, friendly and really took the time to understood what I needed. The work was excellent - very professional and thorough. Would definitely recommend Omar and the team.

My sister and I had to find a RICS surveyor for probate. I saw all the good reviews and got in touch with Blackstone. Omar was very accommodating and agreed to come out on a Sunday. It was a tricky case with a grade 1 listed building, but Omar did a fantastic job. The report was very thorough as was his research. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Level 3 RICS Survey – Truly First-Class Service

I recently instructed Omar to carry out a Level 3 RICS Building Survey on a property I was considering purchasing. I could not be more impressed with the service I received. From the very beginning, the entire process was handled with professionalism, diligence and care, setting a standard that is rarely matched.

The survey itself was exceptionally thorough and meticulously prepared. Every aspect of the property was carefully examined and the resulting report was by far the most comprehensive I have ever encountered. Not only did it highlight each issue with clarity, but it also provided practical, actionable recommendations on the remedial works required, along with expert guidance on the most suitable materials to use internally and externally. This went far beyond what I had expected and clearly demonstrated an outstanding depth of expertise.

The level of detail and quality of insight provided has given me complete confidence in fully understanding the property’s condition, as well as the likely costs and considerations moving forward. This report is not just a survey but a highly valuable reference document that I will continue to rely on.

I have engaged surveyors in the past but have never received such a meticulous, structured and genuinely useful report. It is evident that Omar takes great pride in his work and is fully committed to delivering excellence for his clients.

Without hesitation, I will be using Blackstone for all of my future property purchases. The service is exemplary, expertise second to none and the report truly first-class.

We commissioned Blackstone to survey our two-bed Victorian flat, and were particularly impressed by the work of Omar, who produced an exceptionally thorough and detailed report. The report not only identified potential structural risks but also included estimated remediation costs and practical advice on how to address the issues — right down to the specific materials and construction techniques that would be appropriate.

This level of detail was incredibly helpful, both in guiding our follow-up questions to the seller and in giving us confidence once those issues were addressed. The report will also serve as a valuable reference for planning future maintenance post-purchase.
The inspection covered all key areas of the property — including internal elements like walls, ceilings, and radiators, as well as external features such as the front and rear elevations and visible sections of the roof.

Omar also generously went beyond the agreed scope, offering insightful advice on matters like building insurance and property value. His expertise and willingness to help made a big difference throughout the process.

Overall, Omar’s survey was completely worth the investment.

I had a valuation completed by Omar, who was very professional and friendly.

Ali at Blackstone Surveyors was truly excellent to deal with, generous with his time over and above the survey advice.Very impressive. Much obliged.

When looking for a chartered surveyor for a Red Book evaluation for IHT purposes, there were countless names on the internet. We were extremely lucky that we found Blackstone Surveyors. Ali rang us promptly after we sent in a request, arranged the survey promptly and sent us the comprehensive report within a week. The price was reasonable, well below some outrageous quotes, given by surveyors after we had arranged for Ali to come. When he came to the house, he was charming, professional and intelligent, communicating with us extremely well. The report is excellent and has provided exactly what we require.
We would recommend anyone to use Blackstone Surveyors.

An excellent survey done my Omar. He was worth his weight in gold and as such saved us a lot of money off our property we purchased. The sellers hadn't realised the issues. Omar left no stone unturned and ended up being the surveyors for our sellers new property. I have recommended Blackstone to several people and will continue to do so. It's money well spent!

Blackstone Surveyors are a truly professional Company, thorough and competent in providing a detailed report.

We were first time buyers looking to purchase a flat in London. We engaged Omar to perform a Level 3 building survey and were very satisfied.

Omar conducted a Level 3 survey for us (for a house built in the 1860s) and we couldn’t be more satisfied with his work - we highly recommend him. Omar is friendly, honest, thorough, responsive and provided logical and practical advice throughout. As first home buyers, it was reassuring to work with Omar as he called us with initial findings immediately after the inspection, and we had another call again after the report was issued where he was extremely helpful in explaining things in layman’s terms. The report itself was detailed, easy to read and clear on what steps were to be taken next. Thank you Omar!
