Really annoying that Amazon push updates through that chain how you use and see clips, now we have FOCUs which means you see all the clips from all cameras set up, inside and out side or different types of camera, instead of just being able to select the camera system you want you now have to use filter system, which is tedious. Also push AI all the time is really annoying

Usually kind of works when at home, less reliable when your away and unable to go home and reboot everything, I'm going to raise a refund request as I'm in hospital currently and people know that adding to my anxiety.

I owned Blink cameras 10 years ago, and they did exactly what they were supposed to do without needing a subscription. I bought them again recently, expecting the same basic functionality, but what a disappointment.

If you want to watch the recordings from your own cameras, you now have to pay around £10 a month or more for a subscription. You’ve already paid for the cameras, you’ve installed them around your home, and they’re recording footage, but you can’t watch those recordings unless you keep paying every month.

What’s the point of having security cameras if you can’t watch the footage they’re recording? It’s ridiculous that you have to pay for the cameras and then pay a monthly subscription just to access your recordings.

I’m getting rid of mine and switching to a company that actually lets me record and watch my own footage without charging me every month.

Save your money. I certainly wouldn’t recommend Blink to anyone who wants to access their recordings without paying a monthly subscription.

Just keep logging off ! Constantly trying to get them to connect. Buy something else.

Spending hours trying to get local stoage to work again after I was forced onto a free trial. ensh*itifcation at its finest. All good for the shareholders though.

What an absolute waste of money, paying monthly subscription and can’t have them on constant due to battery life, also doesn’t pick up most of what I need. Wish I had saved my money.

Blink outdoor cameras are absolutely amazing if you don’t use them outdoors. They fog up and you can’t see anything. Leave well alone!!!

When it works its great.when it goes wrong it is unbelievably complicated to get working.in fact impossable.the app help is complicated and keeps disconnecting and deleting your conversation.if you finally get someone on the phone which is impossable,they cut off half way through explaining yet another thing to try.
DO NOT BUY BLINK! You will waste your money on equipement that cant be set up.and itll drive you insane if you try! Colosal waste of time and money!

I love the idea of the camera a nightmare to set up complicated but my issue is the cost of replacing battery they cost 11 pound plus a time so why don’t they make a rechargeable one ? As I’m fed up of it and I refuse to pay the subscription I’m not paying for that crap total rip off

Customer service shocking.emails ,chats,phone calls.hubby died wanted to put it in my name.still got nowhere 4 months later.no cameras.not at all helpful avoid !!!!

I liked my Blink doorbell initially because of the ability to use local storage at first but over the last couple of years more and more things have been restricted to the point it's useless. I don't want motion notifications all the time but have to have the system armed to record doorbell press video footage. I can snooze motion alerts but only for up to 4 hours without a subscription. So if I don't want to reset snooze every 4 hours or get notifications every time a tree blows in the wind I have to take out a subscription. Also, if I want my Alexa devices to announce arrivals at the door in case my phone isn't to hand, I need a subscription. Not fit for purpose any more. That's after frequent connection issues, especially with the sync module. Stay well clear if you want a subscription free doorbell option.

Absolutely useless cctv system,cannot record video unless subscription package which is not good ,even record local storage just below 1 minit video only,no record history.just wast of money.The aap very very slow.contact customer service several time they just justifying their side,the customer always wrong,camera too far ,your wifi not strong,signal weak so and so,they haven't any solution.

I don’t usually write negative reviews but this system is just awful. The cameras glitch constantly, the widget that records doorbell rings and footage breaks down at will, the doorbell never rings unless you keep your phone on audible (not possible in my job) the alerts are always late and the support team is non existent. I am now locked out of the account because I got a new SIM card and had a temp number for 3 days and now I just can’t access any of the equipment. Really poor all round. If I could give this zero stars I would. Avoid. We’re now looking at Ring, as we should have in the beginning.

The doorbell only works if you have a subscription, and this wasn’t advertised when I bought it.

I contacted the support team and asked a simple question regarding my account that I’ve had for years, they refused to answer my question, then when questioned further they read all my messages but refused to respond! Customer support absolutely 0/100

Do noy buy blink 2k camera waste of time ,only working occasionsly at best ,if you want to protect your property go elsewhere.

Buy any system but this one. If you change your email address throw the whole system out. This must be the most archaic system on the market.
