Should have looked at reviews before purchasing. Be careful and make sure you realise what you are buying. Firstly I thought I was buying a video doorbell that could be heard from inside the property, this is not the case you have to buy a separate chime. I was not aware that I had to subscribe to Amazon to use video, I thought I was purchasing a package that would not cause me any more expense for 1 year when I had to agree terms of another contract. This is not the case. BEWARE

Got 6 cameras indoor and out. Local storage stops working every couple of weeks. Takes Blink days to answer ‘chats’. I don’t know if paying for subscriptions works. I bought them to monitor disabled relative whilst I’m at work. Total wast of money

Watch out if considering a blink security system. It is rigged to you end up paying more and more for subscriptions, then more again if you want alerts, then more again if you want to make recording.

Then if you lose access to the email linked to your cameras, the whole system is bricked, Amazon do not care, and will just not support you!

Got 2 cams and doorbell

The 2 way audio is abysmal. Neither I or the person im trying to talk to can hear each other.

Tried contacting support and theyre an absolute joke.

They started giving me advice on how to activate motion detection rather than the 2way audio issue im having.

Unreliable. First one failed, Got replacement and this has just failed within a year. Terribly unreliable. The Blinkie Chat AI stopped responding to my queries - pretty useless.

Bkink are no help at all, i have bought a full system of blink cameras and pay a subscription for cloud storage, there is no date/time stamp watermark facility/option to display on the actual video footage which is required for legal reasons otherwise the footage is useless and you will NOT be able to prove anything to any legal body. Do your research before buying. Blink advised the date/time is in the file properties editable and there is no option to display on actual footage. The cameras itself are fine but come with a major floor, which can become overly important in certain circumstances.

I wouldn’t buy and subscribe to blink again.
I’m always changing the lithium rechargeable batteries in these cameras. Almost weekly!
The cameras that are plugged into the mains are always going off line.
They are always buffering
I’ve altered the range, the time the cameras are on and it’s still the same.
They recommend the unit to be close to the cameras if you have issues. Mine is about 5 feet away and it’s still buffering.
I’m always having to put the WiFi code in to the individual cameras online.
I reset the cameras often as well
The subscription is expensive each year.
I wouldn’t buy blink again.

Absolute rubbish.Wont connect to module when it does it loses connection within second.Purchased another module and the camelra still won't work.The wifi signal is strong the doorbell works fine but the camera is rubbish.Changed the batteries rebooted put the module closer to the camera will not connect .Don't bother with this rubbish.
There chat bot just keeps repeating the same instructions community don't answer and support don't reply

Unwanted Trial

I have a lot of these cameras, they have served me well for quite a few years. I bolster them with a full Swann system though because for some reason half the events are missed. Very good at documenting the cats running in and out of the garden but not always accurately documenting when the elusive couriers are making deliveries.

Anyway I’m giving 2 stars because I just bought a pan tilt zoom indoor camera and I now get a pop-up that I am in a 30 day trial of Blink Plus. I then have to click on 5 different pages before I can get to my cameras.

I pay monthly for extended viewing on 2 of my cameras and that’s good enough for me. I don’t want this free trial and all these pop ups.

It’s really irritating because I have elderly adults in the house I have to keep an eye on so I use the blink app a lot. Now I am in for 30 days of this unwanted interruption every time I open the app.

I was going to buy more pan tilt zoom cameras and upgrade my outdoor cameras to the latest model but I won’t bother now I know I will have 30 days of having the plus subscription interrupting me every time I open the app and having to click through all those pages just to get to my Home Screen. Big brains over at Blink Marketing actually found a way to put customers off upgrading their camera sets. Ridiculous!

Our Blink door bell camera suddenly wouldn't connect to our wi fi.
We've tried everything to get it going but it won't work. Plus you have to buy very expensive batteries even when you wire the thing to mains power.
I'd never buy another Blink product.

I bought the blink wireless and sync module 2.i disconnected module while decorating.now it will not connect to WiFi.tried everything password is correct but module says incorrect.absolute garbage have literally tried 3hrs with this.and light just goes to red on module.even tho device is reg.

Lad got robbed at knifepoint outside my house. Did the camera see it? No. I have 5 cameras, only 2 work. The one that should have caught the incident works, but caught nothing absolutely nothing. Caught everything before and everything after but completely missed the incident and all those involved. Dont waste your money.

Outdoor camera damaged by water after less than a year,, asked for customer support told water damage isn't covered by warranty very disappointed in the product and the customer support

These cameras are absolute garbage. Don’t waste your money.

Utter rubbish. Doorbell is useless. It is extremely inconsistent, it misses things it should easily detect and picks up things in privacy zones that it shouldn’t. Sometimes it records to the sync module sometimes it doesn’t. Sometimes it sounds through Alexa but most of the time it doesn’t. It is completely and utterly useless and extremely frustrating. Don’t buy.

Had the system around 3 years, 2 out of 4 cameras have been down since September and February, tried to contact customer support, absoutely useless, don't get back to you for weeks on end, just ignore you, got a system that now doesn't work, yet been charged for the years subscription and half of the year iv had cameras that don't work at all. Disgusting customer care.

I am extremely disappointed with the Blink Outdoor Camera and the customer service from Blink.
The product was sold with claims of up to two years of battery life, but this information feels misleading. The battery performance has been nowhere near what was advertised. I feel like false information was used to sell the product.
The quality is also very poor. The camera barely picks up anything at night, which completely defeats the purpose of having a security camera. The night detection is extremely unreliable.
Customer service was no help at all — very unprofessional and unresponsive.
Overall, this has been a waste of time and a waste of money. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Terrible, terrible customer service. Unit doesn't work and they hung up on me.
