Great service coprative and helping staff and process was stress free and easy

This is the lamest web service I ever encountered. The phone number is always switched off, nobody reply to your email, and the online service in the website is null. It is nonsense. I changed my destination to a better country other than Spain. Not spending time in such a lame service. What is BLS stand for? There is one name coming to my mind.

Are you for real? Are you advising me to reach out directly to the support team. I just mentioned that your phone is always switched off and no one reply to the emails. Where do you want me to reach out. Sending a pigeon? Or smoke signals? What kind of communication channels you have in place? This is ridiculous.

Terrible company based in India. Doesn't answer phones. Website doesn't work properly. Spain really needs to get a different provider as this company is absolute trash.

In the beginning there were some problems of organisation, however inside the office, i had my appointment with Mrs. Oumaima, I want to thank her. She is very professional, helpful, smiling to the guest. This kind of people we need it in our country. Thank you.

This company is a total scam. They will horde appointments, and tell you to pay for them to come to your house. They give you a bill of £800 to come to your house. After doing all that, guess what? THEY LOST MY PASSPORT. I am still chasing them for this and I have not gotten a response. They will tell me someone will call me back and it's been a nightmare. The people on the phone do not understand simple English and you can hardly hear what they are saying. AVOID AVOID AVOID and if you don't I promise you will regret and cry as I am already doing

Forcing people to book premium saying that there are no normal appointments left.

They force people to pay more for premium saying that there are no slots left. But if you try booking premium, a magical appointments appear at any time you want.

I will find a way to complain about them, just wait and see.

Possibly one of the least user friendly websites ever!

Limited time to fill in details... didn't capture my wife's face in the picture part properly and failed, then had to wait to restart the process, finally got to the payment page and it failed, had to wait to do the application again, and then tried to submit and was told there was already an appointment booked against the passport number when very clearly on the appointment tabs there isn't.

It's almost as if they don't want foreign nationals living in the UK to book an appointment to go to Spain!

This is the second time I've had issues like this after enduring 8 hours to get it completed last time!

If there is under one star would be ideal for rating them, the worst service ever

The staff in Manchester were so polite and made our visit flawless. Even though we’d to pay the £90 priority (which I believe is just a money making scheme). As long as you have everything on the check list in order then your visit should run smoothly. Plenty refreshments on hand which was nice.

Worst website, worst appointment system, 0 attention

Same experience as others. Horrible website dug out from 1999. Extremely slow, captures everywhere, functionality is broken not letting you to book an appointment at all

Whoever is in charge of the BLS Spain website needs to be whipped. Multiple idiotic captchas, 2 mins to load each step which is just a basic form each time, server keeps timing out. Scammer dogs need to upgrade their servers from the 1990s.

How can you make this useless of a website and take people's money, you fools?

Cannot be more horrible. Totally a waste of time. No slots for longer than 2-3 weeks, when it finally have slots, the whole website collapse and collapse!

My parents visited BLS Ahmedabad office to apply for Spanish visa under Visas for family members of a citizen of the Union.

Required documents​​
1. Schengen visa application form: Each applicant must complete and sign an official application form, filling in each of its sections. If the applicant is a minor, one of their parents must sign the application.

2. Photograph: A recent, passport-size, colour photograph, taken against a light background, facing forward, without dark or reflective glasses, or any garments concealing the oval of the face. Photographs of minors must not show any part of the adult holding them.

3. Valid, unexpired passport: Original and a photocopy of the page or pages of the passport that contain biometric data. The passport must be valid for at least 3 months beyond the planned departure date from the Schengen territory. It must also contain at least two blank pages. Passports issued more than 10 years ago will not be accepted.

4. Documents proving family relationship with a citizen of the Union or a State of the European Economic Area or Switzerland: Civil registry certificates (birth or marriage, accordingly), certificate of registration as an unmarried couple or any other document proving that the partnership is analogous to a marital relationship.

5. In the case of descendants over 21, ascendant relatives or other relatives, documents proving they are in the care of a citizen of the Union or a State of the European Economic Area or Switzerland or, if applicable, their state of health.

6. Documents proving that the applicant is travelling with a citizen of the Union or a State of the European Economic Area or Switzerland or is on the way to joining them.

7. Proof of residence in the consular district.

They had all the necessary documents as per the required documents listed above as published on Spanish government website (no link post is allowed here) but the adviser refused to take their application asking for Official Carta de invitación (Letter of invitation) from National Police which is not required for the visa category they are applying for.

He even refused to see the guidance from Spanish government on the link and asking them for one documents from required documents list 7.1 which doesn't exist on the Spanish government guidance for Visas for family members of a citizen of the Union.

Such a disaster and disgrace for not helping my aged parents who are visiting their son, daughter-in-law, and grandchildren.

This should be taken seriously by Spanish Consulate and I have reported this to Mumbai Consulate General and I am going to contact them following Monday to clarify this and force BLS to take their application.

BLS's job is only to collect the application at the appointment centre and not to make decisions whether to accept it or not if they're not up to date with various visa requirements and don't put visitor to Spain in such situations.

They are damaging name of the Spain and Spanish government.

Many Thanks to SONYA who was so nice and extremely helpful, We arrived 10 minutes before we had to be seen, went to reception and recieved a number ticket and took a seat to wait to be called. The gentleman who was on reception was also very helpful and explained the process. All our documents were inspected by SONYA whos keen eye noticed a issue which we resolved. Then we join the queue to have the biometrics done. No more than 30 mins and we were done. A big thankyou to all the staff at BLS. Our advice going through BLS to aquire a visa is to make sure you go through the check sheet and have all your required documents, double and triple check. You and only you can make the process easy for the great staff at BLS. Patience is the second thing there are so many people applying for visas so you will find these agents are there to help you and to make sure your application is right thus ensuring you are successful in receiving the visa your applying for.
