My visit to the ‘shop’ isn’t my favorite thing to do but the team at Brakes Plus made my visit a really good experience. Friendly, knowledgeable and honest. I will definitely go back to this store if I need to take my car to the ‘shop’. Great job to the team!

I brought my vehicle in with a P0507 (high idle) check engine code and specifically asked for a proper diagnosis. Instead, I was sold multiple maintenance services (fuel induction, spark plugs, throttle body cleaning) without the root cause ever being identified.
I explicitly requested that vacuum leaks be checked, but no smoke test was performed. After spending over $1,700, the check engine light came back on within five minutes of driving the car.
When I returned, they were unwilling to run a smoke test or take responsibility for diagnosing the actual issue. The problem remains unresolved.
If you’re looking for real diagnostics rather than upsold maintenance, I recommend going elsewhere. Paying a proper diagnostic fee at a competent shop would have saved me time, money, and frustration. The manager was dismissive and unwilling to address the issue. Horrible, horrible experience.

Driving back from San Antonio, approximately at Lockhart, the front undercarriage mud guard became partially unsecure and flapped vigorously all the way back to Pflugerville. Just past Lockhart I stopped at Pilot to get some ties to secure the loose part. To no avail, I could not get under car to do the work. At Brakes Plus, Pflugerville, my service advisor, Joel, politely agreed to secure the part. To my surprise, he did not use the ties provided and secured the part properly. Thank you for your professional work, Joel.

Garrett B in Phoenix Store #202 pointed out the service repairs that needed to be done immediately and why they should be addressed now. He also pointed out what needs to be done in the near future. As money is tight, he helped me create a "car care plan".
During my service, he kept me up to date on the progress of repairs and I knew the cost before starting. No surprises!!

On 1/28/26 I had requested brakes, oil change and tire rotation. They finished the job, I asked the employee if the tire rotation was done too. He replied yes as noted on the service ticket. When I arrived home I found the tires were not rotated as I mark my tires for my visual inspection. The problem with this is integrity. What else are they charging you for and not completing the requested service?

My husband and I have been coming here for many years. Now my son goes here as well. In addition to fixing what is needed and providing good customer service, they never pressure us into unnecessary services. They do inform me of further work that is needed- it is presented as helpful info and backed by clear explanations and backed by computerized images when applicable. I did enjoy talking to Hope who was at the front desk:-)

I've not had a bad experience here, I intend to return for other services needed on my car. Most workers I've interacted with here are very helpful and nice enough. They gave me a heavy-duty car battery for a decent price and they will replace it for free if it goes out within a 30-month period.
Intro-I am in a wheelchair, torn shoulder tendons, right leg amputated. I’ve used this store through vehicles now. The are at their best right now. Chris, the manager runs a good crew. Jeremy, second in command, did everything I needed. Very personal service from him. Cris (on his day off) and Jeremy worked everything out to make my brake down as painless as a positive as possible. They be pricey, but they do good work, And the stand behind what say and do. I’ll pay the price and have great service.
Sierra customer service was awesome. She was very helpful throughout my inspection process and she also helped me with other questions I had. Her and the staff were very friendly and welcoming!

Just had my Rear Brakes replaced. This Team over at Brakes Plus, 3265 Golden Triangle Blvd are performing excellent Customer Service. In Particular, Sy took care of me and beat the time in less than 1 Hour getting me in and out the door quickly and with Grade A Service. I highly recommend if you need Brakes Plus go see them now.

I went in on 12/18/25 first thing in the morning. My car unexpectedly the night before started acting funny and I had always gone to city garage, though breaks plus took over a while ago. They got my car in the bay and quickly figured out it was a safety recall part that had broken (I got the ford notice about that particular part 4 days later advising me to get it replaced before THIS happened). I only had 36k miles on my car, but it was over 5 years old. They walked me through what the problem was and how to talk to the service department with ford. They chatted with me while I arranged for a tow truck to come get my car and take it to ford, then they kept me company while I waited an hour for the tow truck. They put me in a Lyft to get home (3 miles away) and refused to let me pay for it. They didn’t charge me for anything that morning.
I can not begin to describe how nice these people are. I had worked 56 hours that week and it was 2 days before what would have been my mom’s 63rd birthday, and I knew I was about to work a 60 hour week through Christmas. They took a very stressful situation for me and made it as easy as possible. Their kindness and generosity is unmatched.
The workers are amazing and don’t try to sell you extra. They are honest and let you know what you need done and what can wait. I went once to get something fixed and have now went back a second time for help. I love the staff and how helpful they are. I would definitely trust them with my car every time I need work done.
