I worked with Brian Gavin and Katie on a custom engagement ring after losing my original ring a few months ago, and I truly couldn’t have had a better experience.

My original engagement ring had a princess-cut diamond, and I went back and forth between choosing another princess or the Quadex. I ultimately went with the Quadex, and I don’t regret it for a second. It is stunning. Honestly, all of the sparkle took some getting used to.

Katie was incredibly patient throughout the entire custom design process and did a lot of hand-holding along the way. I wanted the new ring to feel like my original engagement ring, and somehow the design team managed to recreate it while making it feel like an upgraded, sexier, glossier version. The workmanship on the platinum is far superior to what I originally had. It is just spectacular.

I also had the pleasure of speaking with Brian directly to make sure we were all on the same page with the design. He has such an easygoing manner and a great sense of humor that made the process genuinely enjoyable.

Because I’m beyond particular about how my engagement ring and wedding band sit together, we ultimately decided to have a new wedding band made to fit the engagement ring perfectly. I’ve kept my original wedding band as a keepsake, and the two new rings together just make me smile.

Losing my engagement ring was incredibly stressful, but Brian, Katie, and the team managed to turn this into an experience I actually enjoyed. Katie especially made what could have been an overwhelming process feel easy.

I really can’t thank them enough. The finished rings are even better than what I had before, and Brian, Katie, and the entire team truly are a dream team. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I can't say enough about how great of an experience I had with Brian Gavin. I worked with Emily Johnson to design a custom ring. The customer service and communication from Emily was amazing. She made the entire process super easy and unstressful and the experience super enjoyable. They are incredibly transparent with pricing and transparent with everything, so you know that you won't get fleeced or screwed over. They are incredibly accommodating. A custom ring usually takes them ~6 weeks to produce and ship to you, however, when I needed it in 4 weeks, they expedited it for me with no extra charge, which genuinely helped so much. Along with that, the ring is absolutely perfect. The hand-engraving they can do is unreal and stunning, and the diamond is beautiful. They even provide a recommendation for a trustworthy and affordable insurance company in order to insure the ring. There is really nothing negative I can say about me experience with Brian Gavin - Emily is the best!!!

The rings arrived a few weeks ahead of the initially quoted time frame, and looked fantastic. My fiance loves the ring. The quality of the stone and metalwork are top notch.

You won’t find a nicer cut diamond than a Brian Gavin diamond. Cut to perfection. The scintillation of fire and brilliance are otherworldly, only believed once experienced first hand. This is my second time purchasing a Brian Gavin diamond, this time coming back for two, because one just isn’t enough. Their customer service is second to none. Prompt, pleasant and polite, they went out of their way to help with a small hiccup I had with getting my order through customs to Australia. I waffled back-and-forth between 3 different designs and Emily was extremely patient in giving me her thoughts and opinions. I ultimately decided with a trilogy style and chose three BG-branded natural round stones. There were very specific design details I wanted for the custom setting. Emily was amenable but also set clear expectations in our communications. The finished piece is absolutely breathtaking! It looks like a timeless heirloom piece without feeling dated. The craftsmanship is superb; every detail is perfect, polished, and sparkly!

I also ordered a few loose stones from BG as I found the pricing to be MUCH more competitive than other retailers. Shopping for diamonds online can be quite daunting, so I really appreciate that additional videos from the supplier will be provided upon request. Seeing the hand and tweezer videos are super helpful, and the carbon videos are always fun to watch. Again, many thanks to Emily and Katie for being so patient and accommodating in my endless video requests. I also ADORE the packaging the loose diamonds come in; they’re high-quality glass-like cases with a magnetic lid. The loose diamonds are totally secure and they can also be used as display cases.

BG is now my go-to jeweler for loose diamonds and one of my top recommendations for custom jewelry pieces!

Katie in Sales was PHENOMENAL. We had an issue with our order - the prongs were the wrong metal. Katie and her team went out of the way to make it better than right. It can be intimidating to buy something sight unsees like this but this team's excellent customer service makes that a non-issue.
