Scam company DO NOT USE!! Ordered a beer crate for my son’s birthday it’s arrived after his birthday with half of the order missing. I ordered a ballon got no balloon. The rest of his order arrived a week late. I ordered an upgrade of Czech beer and they sent instead some cheap domestic beer. When I called to tell them how disappointed I was and I should get a partial refund for not sending the correct items and it arriving so late they basically told me too bad. Could’ve cared less. Stay away you don’t get what you pay for and it will arrive late

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with BroCrates. I ordered a birthday crate specifically for delivery on September 2nd, expecting it to be a thoughtful surprise with a blown-up balloon delivered to the door. Instead, the package was simply dropped in a mail room in a plain box—no balloon, no presentation, nothing like what was advertised.

The website gives the impression that this is a personalized birthday delivery experience, but the reality is misleading. I ended up having to awkwardly message the recipient myself, which completely ruined the surprise. Even worse, if there was a balloon inside, it wasn’t inflated—which defeats the whole purpose.

For the price I paid, I expected a professional, celebratory delivery. What I got instead was a regular box delivery that I could have sent myself through the post office for a fraction of the cost. Very disappointing and not worth the money.

Sent a gift and paid extra for a good bottle of whiskey.
Instead received a replacement of a random whiskey with no notice and no refunds given.
Beware and don’t bother paying extra for quality because it’s just a lucky pick.”

Real product does NOT resemble description
The beer board is not a beer board. It is just a flat paddle. The four unique glasses are anything but different. I received 3 of the same pint glasses and 1 slightly shorter pint glass. The beers could have easily purchased from a grocery store.

Honestly, they are awful. Save your money. I'll be calling my bank to dispute and submit a complaint to the BBB. They are scammers clearly the other reviews are similar. Promised delivery dates that they failed to deliver. Customer service is awful, the representative was so

Should’ve read the reviews before buying. Received a destroyed gift in the mail, no appropriate packaging, securing the gift, no anything. They just threw it in a box and shipped it.

Also as a bunch of others said, the description did not match what I received in the bag.

We should have read the reviews before purchasing. This place is awful. We ordered something that was supposed to arrive by 12/24 for Christmas, and chose from the shipping options offered. They didn't even ship it by Christmas. I contacted their non-existent customer service and they were no help at all. Their chat option is all email. They don't take phone calls, just voicemail. They don't have any options to actually help customers. They just take money for overpriced items and don't deliver on what they offer. Never, ever use this company.

HORRIBLE COMPANY! I HAND PICKED EVERY ITEM FOR THE BOX AND EVERY SINGLE THING WAS SUBSTITUTED!!! THE BEER THAT WAS IN THE BOX WASN'T EVEN ONE LISTED ON THEIR WEBSITE AS A CHOICE. UPON EMAILING THEM THAT IT WAS ALL WRONG, THEY RESPONDED AND SAID SUBSTITUTIONS CAN BE MADE. THE WHOLE BOX??? RUN FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

Complete scam. They sent a completely different package which is not even close to what we ordered and is not even on their website. They said that “I agreed” to substitutions and no refunds. However that proof is not there on the site. Planning to report to better business bureau.

I paid for a tequila brocrate and paid for the additional upgrade fee for a brand name reputable tequila. They sent a basic brand not close to the value I paid and they refused to refund me for the upgrade. They delivered 7 days after the order when they guaranteed 2 days. Everything about them is a scam.

My daughter sent me a Father's Day gift from Brocrates. I was away for travel and opened it today while she was on a video call with me. 2 of the 4 beer glasses were broken severely and 1 of the cans of craft beer was dented and bulging at the top. After 5 emails back and forth with them because they needed more pictures than the original pictures I sent. I even included videos, and then they needed an order # from my daughter even though I had provided my name & address, her name and email and a copy of the card they sent with the info. After all the emails they replied that it's too costly for them to replace the damaged glasses and I should go ahead and drink the beer (in their opinion) so they would send a credit of about $11. They are so bad and I'm quite sure they will be out of business in the near future based on how they conduct business.

I ordered a basket for my father for his birthday. Not only was what he received not what was pictured on the website, but I also added on cupcakes that he did not receive.

When I reached out they tried to tell me that I did not pay for the cupcakes, and yet they are on my order and I was charged for them.

This review is for BRO-CRATES.COM in N.A. We wanted to give our son a special gift while we were away so we tried BroCrates. 1st we find they substituted an item. Not great but ok. Then we find out the specially chosen gift included 'Factory Throwout' cigars, which was very embarrassing. Written contact was made with photos of the items. Communication was done with a CSR named Cromwell who included this comment: ".... We will make sure to take note of your feedback to PREVENT THIS FROM HAPPENING AGAIN". Ok, but we would have appreciated a correction on 'this' order/gift. Apparently only if the issue is reported within 5 days. That was impossible as the primary reason to use Bro Crates was because we were travelling & wanted to give our son a special gift. We had no idea of the problem until a month later when we got back & when he then showed us the cigars. Still too late. They are not prepared to replace the item, even though they acknowledge it won't happen again, indicating it was a faulty item. We are posting this to Trust pilot as it appears BroCrates should not be trusted to stand behind their products nor correct their errors. Had this been a package for a boss or important client, the results could have been very detrimental.

BAIT AND SWITCH! DO NOT ORDER FROM BROCRATES!

Ugh. I wish I had read the reviews prior to ordering from this scam master company.

Good thing is that the package was delivered on time. The rest of this experience has been a total nightmare. I wish I could post pictures here as reference to see why this experience was a total SCAM.

I recently placed an order for my boss (Order #BRU88530) and the product that was delivered was an utter disappointment. Hands down, the biggest gift basket bait and switch job I have ever experienced.

On your site, the Coffee Truffle & Cookie Gift set looked pretty elegant. (Almost nice enough to warrant the $88.99 price tag.) Since it was a very special occasion (my boss' birthday), I decided to splurge and placed the order for what I thought would be a cool and sophisticated birthday gift.

Regrettably, that was NOT the case. Instead, what was delivered was a package that looked like it was assembled by a group of 3rd graders (see attached photos). There was no beautiful gold box of truffles and the cookies looked like they were right off the shelf of a local supermarket.

To add insult to injury, the truffles were dumped into a cheap cellophane Valentine's Day bag! (See attached photo.) This definitely left my boss wondering, "what the?"..... How incredibly embarrassing!

Based on this extremely bad bad experience, I am requesting a full refund of $117.43 which will only cover the monetary costs and not the time and energy I'm spending getting over this disaster.

I trust that you will understand my disappointment and frustration and take the appropriate measures to try and make things better.

As with every other reviewer, the results were completely different. I ordered the Hole-In-One golf crate: cheese golf balls, crackers, cashews, a sand-trap cutting board. INSTEAD, it was 1 week old Christmas chocolate and a plank of wood. Same excuse as others—“We have the right to substitute”, but switching to a cheaper, COMPLETELY UNRELATED item is unacceptable and bad business. Don’t buy from them.

This hamper was an absolutely disappointment. The grooming products are just okay, nothing special. Also it was supposed to come in the hamper a nail brush and a body buffer, and not two nail brushes. I even didn’t want one nail brush and you guys sent me two?! What am I supposed to do with two nail brushes??? Useless!!! I asked your customer service before placing the order if it was possible to change the nail brush for something else as it wasn’t something useful for my fiancé but they said no, it wasn’t possible. Also, the Christmas card was nothing special, it was something made in the computer, nothing sophisticated.

But I think the biggest disappointment was the sparkling wine or whatever is that. I ordered this hamper from you guys expecting a fine wine, if considering the price I paid for, and we got a $15.00 bottle of wine?? I paid almost $200.00 for 4 bath products, 2 nail brush and a $15.00 Martini bottle of wine?? That is absolutely ridiculous!!! Plus on the description of the hamper on your website it says another brand of wine, that was completely different from the one you sent in the hamper.

Very disappointing and frustrating. This was a gift for a man that have high standards for fine liquors and beverages in general. And your customer service is pretty poor, I needed to talk to them twice and both the the quality of the call was pretty bad, like is not a call centre that you call to get information, it is some people that you hire and they pick up the phone in the middle of something that they are doing, lots of noise in the background and the ladies didn’t sound confident in their words. Anyways the whole thing such a disappointment and lots of money spent on a piece of crap. Got my lesson. They are probably scammers.
