Just don't bother ....please, please .
Never felt so scammed and cheated by a company as I have by these sharks . One star flatters this mob .
Handed keys to a car over to a car in cagliari Airport, in a dark covered car park that we queued over an hour for , no one was present to check this car over and off we went. We drove for 4 days , dropped the car back immaculate, fully fueled and had to endure this lady acting out an inspection and tutting etc . Once we asked her what was wrong she pointed to a 2mm scratch- chip on the windscreen that was so minute it wasn't noticeable but she insisted it would need the whole screen replacing. I work in the motor trade and said at worst this would be a repair if that , after half an hour deliberating she agreed it would be a repair which at most should be 75 euros , and they then proceeded to at 975 euros off my credit card that I didn't authorise . Scamming cupid stunts ... if it costs nearly 1000 pound to repair a windscreen I'm packing up and moving to Sardinia to open a screen repair service , I'm in the wrong business . We spoke to customer services once back in the UK and they was as helpful as a chocolate teapot . After looking through some holiday photos we've spotted that the world's tiniest £1000 euro chip was there in a photo taken shortly after collecting the car.. hmmmm potal tricks ... ( work that out ) so in short only use if you have a fetish for being ripped off otherwise save your self some grief and money and hire from anyone else but these budget cowboys . 🤠

My experience with Avis/Budget in Italy was absolutely infuriating. When I rented the car, there was already significant damage around the car, which was properly documented on the rental agreement. No damage was done to the car while renting it. Upon return, no one was at the counter to inspect the vehicle, and they required us to return the agreement with the keys. Shockingly, the next morning, I was charged me $1000 for pre-existing damage that was clearly documented. When I disputed the damage, they outright denied the damage on the agreement. This level of dishonesty and extortion from Avis/Budget is disgraceful. Avoid them at all costs.

Auto esattamente come prenotazione, era nuova e perfette condizioni generali. Velocissime le operazioni di ritiro e riconsegna e personale attento e cordiale.
Prezzi chiarissimi come previsti con tanto di rimborso inatteso del carburante avanzato al rientro. (politica carburante usata: consegna con PIENO / riconsegna Vuoto). Deposito sbloccato dalla carta di credito dopo soli 3 giorni!.
Onestamente mi erano venuti svariati dubbi vedendo le tante recensioni negative ma la mia esperienza personale è stata ottima.

Bad and frastrating experience in any way.
A frequent traveler, so I have a comparison point of view.
First - the service was one big mess. hours of waiting.
Second - we were given a malfunctioned car that broke, the response was not satisfying and we had to take a taxi on our expense to get back to Venice AP (250KM) and take a replacement.
The worse: we were charged on a significant amount without reason and without any notice. They did it because they can and may also and probably will do it to you too. be careful!!!

Abbiamo prenotato una macchina e dopo ci hanno consegnato una molto peggiore che quella che abbiamo pagato e in peggiore stato. Anche nella store di firenze ci hanno detto che potevamo pagate cash (avevamo portato dinero proprio per questo) e nel ritorno della macchina non ci hanno lasciato e abbiamo dovuto pagare con la card.

I've read the reviews here and honestly was terrified to give Budget a go. There weren't many cars available in Catania Airport, but the one from budget was fair value for money and smooth experience.

They encourage you to take pictures/a video of the car when you pick it up and they are super honest about what scratches are present in the beginning.

I'd definitely hire from them again.

We rent from Budget Fumcino airport:
When we came to take the car st the counter - the lady says they don't have the same class car as we order - but they can give us Delux car Volvo XC90(!) in the price.
We're not so happy because it is too big for the smsll streets of south Italy but there no other choice...ok we took the car for the trip.
Shortly after we return the car I noticed Budget charge of 1475€!!!
When I call the office to ask for the charge they answer that the charge is because I asked for such big car.
I realized that I fall in to trap and they hide in small letters in the agriment that I choose to upgrade.
They just thieves - don't ever take a car from them busterds.

Assolutamente da evitare. Abbiamo noleggiato un'auto a Parigi e già lì sono iniziati i problemi: 1h e mezza solo per prendere l'auto (nonostante la prenotazione di mesi). L'agenzia si dimentica di darci i biglietti per uscire da garage e non vi dico cosa ho dovuto fare per tornare a piedi a prenderli. Durante il noleggio si rompe lo specchietto retrovisore lato guida nello scontro con altra auto (non per forza colpa mia) e mi addebitano 268 euro. Non solo! Devo cambiare auto, ma me ne danno una più piccola, perdendo comunque 2 giorni. Quando ho l'incidente mi mandano un carro attrezzi! Il tizio che arriva mi chiede perché sia stato chiamato visto che il danno è il solo specchietto! Poi mi dà un indirizzo per andare a cambiare lo specchietto in una officina a Lorient. Ricontatto Budget e mi dicono che invece la macchina va sostituita e devo andare in un'altra città. Ovviamente contattare l'agenzia è un problema mio. Loro non muovono un dito. L'agenzia di Parigi è impossibile da contattare e a me era necessario perché scopro che nella macchina non hanno messo il libretto di circolazione e il tagliando assicurativo è scaduto. Insomma un casino senza ricevere la benché minima assistenza. Ma ora se la vedranno con il mio legale. Non esiste essere abbandonati nel bel mezzo del nulla in Francia, senza essere assistito, con un perenne scarica-barile.

Evitate l'agenzia di Milano stazione centrale sono dei ladri veri. In particolar modo le ragazze presenti alle ore 15:00 del 8 giugno. Scappate..

davvero pessimi in tutto. Riconsegnata auto a noleggio con il pieno fatto e in ordine. Mi contestano dei "peli di animale" sui tappetini.......totale da pagare 100€. Ma siamo impazziti. Mai più

Rented a car in Sardinia...Completely unacceptable customer support, a joke really ... 9 months, and multiple emails without response later (including dodgy invoices), still no proper answers or resolution to my case... it really looks like they are just trying to let time to go by so it gets forgotten... but they are very wrong if they think I will let them get away with it... it is incredible, never again! be aware and rent with this company under your own responsibility!
Ps: I edit my review to add that I just received another email from the company, stating that they are still correct after they supposedly investigated my case further (investigation triggered by my previous review), of course, still no evidence provided to back up such statement and just as an example, the final charges I am disputing include, among other, a pure mathematical error, however they still confirm the charges after such an "investigation", well I think it is self explanatory.

ho affittato un'autovettura presso di voi /( stazione Termini di Roma) il giorno 11 novembre e riportato la stessa presso vostro parcheggio di via Marsala, come da contratto Budget RA 994150102, qui allegato.L'autovettura è stata riportata entro la data del contratto ed in vostro orario di apertura del garage ( 8-20) ed esattamente alle 19, 53 del giorno 13 novembre 2022 ( si prega di vedere in allegato fotografia con data e orario del parcheggio) Cosa che vorrei rimarcare per la mancanza endemica di vostro personale anche entro orario di vostro ufficio e motivo per il quale sono stato costretto a fare fotografia
Mi è pervenuta oggi verbale di contravvenzione redatto da Polizia Municipale di Firenze per infrazione rilevata in data 14 nov 2022, cioè quando voi eravate già tornati in possesso di tale autovettura.
Chiedo urgentemente delucidazioni ( da voi in merito, anche in riferimento a vostro errore nella comunicazione alla Polizia Municipale di Firenze del conducente, della quale chiedo intanto da voi rettifica immediata.
In mancanza di ciò, vista anche la perdita di tempo causatomi da questo vostro macroscopico errore, sarò costretto ad adire per vie legali
Putroppo non è stato possibile comunicare con voi durante questa giornata, perchè nessuno risponde ai numeri da voi indicati e l'ufficio vostro relativo a multe non ha email, ma suggerisce come strumento di comunicazione l'anacronistica modalità fax

Provato ad effettuare un noleggio nei pressi della stazione di Bari C.le.
Effettuato tutto tramite sito web un po di giorni prima. Tutto funziona bene, vengono mandate varie mail automatiche di conferma.
Noleggio prenotato per le 19, ma purtroppo causa ritardo treno, arriviamo lì alle 19.05 ed era già chiuso. Lode alla eventuale puntualità nella chiusura ed attenzione alla clientela.

Auto noleggiata a Milano Malpensa per un giorno. Al momento del noleggio mi confermano il prezzo di 58,89€. Alla consegna tutto ok mancavano si è no 10 euro di carburante (lancetta quasi ad indicare io pieno ) e quindi chiedo cosa fare. L’operatore addetto alla consegna dice non fa niente e mi fa firmare la consegna. Morale della storia mi ritrovo un addito di 104.71€.

Fate attenzione a questi banditi!
Ho noleggiato per due giorni un'auto alla sede di Foggia.
Ho percorso all'incirca 70/80 km e reso l'auto col pieno (10 euro di carburante, sicuramente più di quanto consumato) . Mi sono ritrovata un addebito di euro 15,01!!! da AVIS!!!
Alle mie rimostranze mi chiedono la ricevuta di rifornimento!!! Primo come mai mi addebitate con AVIS , secondo come mai non mi avete notificato anomalia alla riconsegna quando avete controllato auto e livello serbatoio.
Lo so io perché, perché tentate di fregare il cliente. Non a caso avete un rating bassissimo
Pessimi e pezzenti.

Ho prenotato e pagato online un noleggio auto con questa compagnia. Il giorno prima mi viene comunicata la cancellazione del mio volo. Tramite il sito provo ad annullare la prenotazione, ovviamente un errore non mi fa proseguire. Provvedo allora a telefonare spiegando i motivi di forza maggiore che mi costringevano a disdire la prenotazione. Mi viene comunicato che il rimborso non potrà essere per l'intero importo a causa del breve preavviso. Pazienza, va bene lo stesso. Da quel momento, nulla più. Altro che parziale rimborso. Si sono trattenuti tutta la somma. Mai più con Budget e Avis, compagnie collegate tra loro ma assolutamente poco serie.

We booked online through carflexi.com. We choose and paid for additional extra - second driver and it was shown on voucher.
At airport desk they told that we need to pay again for additional driver. It seems like they are not able to read and understand.
All rental experience was good, only complain about airport desk lady and extra cost.
Carflexi helped us to solve problem and we have return of unfair extra charges. I have changed my rating to 4*

Pessimi e pietosi. Noleggiata auto e poi disdetta per motivi personali in tempo per avere il rimborso totale dell'importo già pagato online. Spariti. La disdetta non risulta. Per parlare con un servizio clienti ci sono volute ore e soldi (servizio a pagamento); alle email non rispondono. Andrò avanti con avvocato chiedendo la registrazione della telefonata durante la quale effettuavo la disdetta. SCONSIGLIATO!

Semplicemente perfetti. Auto nuova con meno di 100 Km e soprattutto l’operatrice Maria Grazia che, a causa del ritardo del mio volo, mi ha aspetterei fino all’1:30 per consegnare l’auto. Non conoscevo questa compagna e la consiglio a tutti, soprattutto l’agenzia di Bari Palese.

AWFUL!!!!!!! THEY TOLD ME AT ROMA TRAIN STATION TO RETURN THE TANK EMPTY (ALTHOUGH MY VOUCHER SAYS FULL)AND THAT IT WILL COST ME LESS THAN FILLING IT UP. I THOUGHT IT WAS STRANGE (SINCE IT IS THE FIRST TIME I CAME ACROSS THIS)BUT THE REP WAS ADAMENT AND REPEATED HIS CLAIM AND DEMAND THAT I RETURN IT EMPTY. THEY CHARGED ME 178 EURO FOR GAS . THERE IS NO ONE TO TALK TO NOW. THEY PUT ME ON HOLD (I LIVE OUSIDE ITALY) FOR 20 MIN SO I GAVE UP. TERRIBLE!!!!!!!! I FEEL THAT THEY HAVE STOLEN FROM ME
