Do not order from this company. If you are home based they have an issue. Run my cake business from my home address They took my money through card payment, through an internet order, but according to them that didnt pass their security, left it a whole day before they emailed me to say they shouldnt have done that & then wanted it again through bacs as I was not a commercial address. Their customer service was unhelpful & I was made to feel like a fraud. As apparently anyone can have a FB page. Even though they could check I was a registered business. No I needed to prove my identity with my driving licence. Oh yes & then they tried to take payment out of my bank account again. Luckily I had prevented that from happening, so it was declined. Horrible experience. I was able to order from another company with no issues.
Super service from a user friendly company.
We ordered a double bottle fridge for our new bar which is located upstairs in our premises with no lift access. There was an "unpack and place" delivery with the item we bought but we thought this may be a little ambitious. When the delivery guys arrived we showed them where the fridge needed to be and, to our amazement, they wasted no time in getting it in place - with local help - and then took all the packaging and pallets away.
The whole purchase experience from contacting Sophie with our initial enquiry and product queries to the placing of the fridge was superb. We cannot recommend Caterkwik highly enough.

Caterkwik have been far and above the most helpful company we contacted for a commercial freezer. Karina went above and beyond researching size and specification we needed. We ordered at 3pm and 2 hours later she phoned to say it was being delivered the next day! Excellent service!

Having now made two purchases from this company I can only describe their customer service as above and beyond especially my experience with Fay. Their communication is brilliant. However beyond their control was the second delivery. I am elderly with mobility problems and I left a note on my front door for the courier DX requesting that the 'overweight' parcel be left near to my garden gate from where I could use my sack trucks. The note was taken off my front door, screwed up and left with the parcel at the top of a number steps. I have complained to the seller who will pass on my complaint to DX.
"Customer first" is clearly their guiding principle
The website is user friendly and finding the right product is really simple. Communication is very good, responses are very prompt and helpful. An initial misunderstanding over payment was resolved in less than half an hour, so our order could be processed without delay. Delivery was also problem free and the machine is a doddle to use.

My last two large purchase experiences…
My last two large purchase experiences with Cater-Kwik have been disappointing.
No1. I called up and spoke with an agent to discuss a new glass washer. I stated that I needed something next day (Friday), and was instructed that there was only one model that they could do next day at that time. It was a Cater-Kwik own brand model and was certainly not a model I would have chosen if there was a choice which I was instructed there was not. I agreed and made the purchase. It did not arrive on the Friday and I called up firast thing Saturday and was told it was on delivery for Monday. Presumably there would have been a plethora of models available for a monday delivery and so I asked to change the model. Not possible.
The glasswasher did not arrive Monday as it had been sent to the wrong depot. It arrive the following Friday.
I felt coerced into buying an own brand product and despite reaching out have heard nothing back from them.
No2. I ordered a replacement fryer and it arrive with some damage. I tried to contact on the thursday and friday but with no success. I got back to them on the monday and managed to get through to someone who asked my what resolution I would be happy with. As I had had to use the equipment and the damage was (mostly), cosmetic I said I would be happy with a discount. Then they went quiet and I've been unable to contact them again since

School fridge delivery
Delivery drivers were very helpful when delivering our new fridge to the school. All unpacked and positioned, checked for damage, etc. Thank you!
Unresponsive customer service after faulty item delivered
After multiple emails back and forth with a sales representative about a contact grill, I placed an order having been assured that the quality of this make (a Mercury product) was the same as the make that was out of stock. When the grill arrived, it was bent in several places (exposing a very sharp edge of metal on one side), the top was not properly weighted, so kept falling down onto whoever's hand happened to be there, and the grilling time was at least twice as long as that of our current grill. I immediately contacted the sales rep with photos to request a return, and a few days later also reported the problem to one of the managing directors. It is now two weeks later and I have not yet heard back from either of them. Very poor customer service. Very poor quality product.

Don’t buy this product
I have not had a problem with this company’s products and service until now. We bought a Cater- prep CK1777 stick blender in June 23 , have already had it replaced once in 2024 and now it’s gone wrong again. This time they won’t replace as already had one warranty claim.
I shall not be buying this make again. We only use it 3 times a week to purée soup so hasn’t even had hard use.
