Initially we chose Chattertons to handle the conveyancing on the sale of our property because of an historic connection. We were not diosappointed in the service, attention and response we received from Sophie Flower in the handling of our sale.

I was an unusual client making, initially, a Fast Track claim against a large powerful insurance company as a Litigant in Person. The insurance company deployed a firm of solicitors and a barrister escalating my claim to Intermediate, Band 1 (Over £25,000) plunging me into the legal complexities of an Intermediate claim. I really could have done with more help and advice other than unembellished directions on what I needed to do next. I probably spent about 100 hours or more managing my own case and I felt very much on my own. Against all advice (including that of a barrister who I retained to help, but discarded), in a two day hearing I won my case (£47,081).
