Chef Akila’s Slow-Cooked Curries Reviews

Couldn’t think of a birthday present for my son but knew he liked curry. He was highly delighted and appreciative.

The curries are exceptional and authentic. Better than any I have had from a takeaway. Generous chunks of meat ♥️ in every one I have tried. So quick to cook, and no need to get them out of the freezer beforehand as they only take 10 minutes in the microwave. Excellent

Just had the third item we ordered; the lamb biryani and the butter chicken and it was delicious just as the chicken biriyani was too. Huge portions and more than enough for two people. I prefer to heat mine up in the oven and enjoy the delicious smell while it’s cooking!!!

Very tasty, healthy and consistent
Love them

Discovered Chef Akila's website this year. Outstanding quality and flavour. The chicken and lamb have a texture as if they had just been cooked from fresh; the rice is perfect as well. Beats anything you can buy from a supermarket, hands down. Very, Very Authentic flavours. I will be ordering on a regular basis.

Great portion size my guest thought id made it and said it was restaurant quality

Every meal has been delicious, will definitely recommend to any curry lovers

Lamb curry has too much fennel. Horrible aniseed taste. Beef curry was tasteless. I just don’t understand how there can be so many good reviews.

Fabulous curries. Flavours are fabulous. Great service. Highly recommended

The lamb and spinach curry was absolutely delicious. The order arrived quickly and well packaged. Will definitely buy more and explore the other dishes on offer.

the meals were excellent, very tasty, and the mild curries were just right. Well packed and delivered on time. Highly recommended.

First time ordering and we were so impressed! Delivered on time, very well packed and absolutely delicious food! Will be ordering again.

Very nice! Lamb was beautiful! So soft and no fat in it! I bought 4 items and they were all very nice..will be ordering again soon but my freezer is full at the moment. They are a bit pricy but so are normal take aways. At least you know whats in it and its not Halal meat! Good delivery too!

Excellent curries and biriyanis, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. Food arrives frozen and takes just minutes to cook.

I am a huge fan of Chef Akila’s curries! We have had 4 of them so far and they all taste amazingly wonderful!!! We are definitely ordering again and again!

Portion sizes are small and quite expensive although I don’t mind paying for good food but definitely not enough for two adults

The package came still intact and frozen.
We enjoyed all the meals and the fact that they can be done in the oven aswell as the microwave is so much better when you are doing more than one dish.
I highly recommend these meals the taste of all the dishes were lovely.
You can taste the depth of the spices nothing overly seasoned.
Great alternative to take away food and less fat

Great tasty curries without the mystery ingredients.
