Excellent Service from Chestertons

I had an excellent experience with Chestertons throughout my tenancy, and I would like to express my sincere thanks to Leusa, James, and especially Isaiah for their outstanding support.

At the beginning of my tenancy and throughout my time renting the property, Leusa and James were always professional, friendly, and helpful. Whenever I needed assistance, they responded promptly and made the whole renting experience smooth and stress-free.

I would especially like to thank Isaiah, who supported me during the final stage of my tenancy and throughout the check-out process. Isaiah was always patient, professional, responsive, and reassuring. Whether it was arranging maintenance, answering questions, coordinating the check-out, or keeping me updated on the progress of my deposit, he handled everything efficiently and with great care.

The entire check-out process was well organised and straightforward, and I was delighted that everything was concluded smoothly. Throughout the process, Isaiah kept me informed and made what could have been a stressful experience feel simple and worry-free.

As an international tenant, having such a professional, reliable, and supportive team meant a great deal to me. Their kindness, dedication, and excellent customer service made my experience in London a very positive one.

Thank you once again to Leusa, James, and especially Isaiah for all your help. It was truly a pleasure working with you, and I look forward to working with Chestertons again when I return to the UK.

Ioana assisted with last-minute gas safety remedial works. She saved a tenancy and helped everyone else out massively. Ioana is an asset to the property management team and I hope to work with her more often.

It was my second time reaching out to Chestertons for assistance about the property which turns out to be fast and efficient about solving any queries and issues. I am with Cheneal first on the phone who assisted me to my queries, later on Karen reached on me too through whatsapp then followed by Elaine my property manager through another phone call.

Im quite surprise and amaze how the team coordinates and deal with my concerns. Hopefully it will be solved soon. Thanks for giving me a good service and leaving a good impression for the team. Well done!

Ryan Briggs managed my property which I had rented out. I found him diligent, professional and very responsive. I would highly recommend Ryan. Chesterton's does lose 1 star as their fees are a bit on the high side - albeit I agreed to them so thats on me.

Chestertons manage the property I have been renting for five years, and it’s been smooth sailing. Special mention to Rachel Hannam for dealing with a recent bit of yearly admin professionally and effectively.

I am disappointed with the way my concerns were handled by Chestertons Putney. Over the course of more than a year, I made repeated efforts to resolve an ongoing issue directly with the branch. Although I remained polite and tried to find a reasonable compromise, I felt my concerns were never taken seriously. Communication lacked empathy, and despite several discussions, I saw no meaningful action. Based on my experience, I expected a much more professional and considerate approach from a local business.

We recently had a maintenance issue at our property and found Chestertons' customer service team very helpful. Once the matter was escalated, Shanya Stewart took ownership, kept us informed, and worked through to a clear resolution.
Communication was professional throughout, and it was reassuring to deal with someone who followed through properly. We appreciated the support and would recommend Chestertons' property management service based on this experience.

I have been using Chestertons for a few years for lettings, new lets they are very good, on the ball and professional however renewals very poor because they do everything by email build no rapport with tenants or landlord, i have also spoken to tenants and they are disgusted with this cold unprofessional service.
I made a complaint via the Lettings Manager London and shocked at her attitude how they are so busy hence why she thought it was an acceptable method of renewal contracts or changes.
As a consequence tenant issued vacation notice and Chestertons still didnt speak to him, I then called tenants and increased rent and although one tenant swapped with a friend they are staying on another year.
Even though i sorted this all out and did their job Chestertons still want a renewal fee of £2,000 an absolute joke.
Take the above into account when you consider using Chestertons.

Very helpful and attentive staff. I had a great interaction with an Associate Property Manager named Shruthi Purswani who communicated clearly and addressed any issues in short order.

My feedback is specifically regarding the support and help of Marianna Charalambous who has been a responsive, prompt and helpful contact at Chestertons for the property we have been letting for over two years. We navigated a tricky situation with our flat and were making limited progress until Marianna was involved and helped us resolve the matter within days. She definitely sets the bar for an excellent property manager.
