Professional and Helpful
Was a very good experience dealing with Home Equity Bank. They were very helpful in explaining how it all worked and what the possibilities were. You have many different options as to how the funds are paid out. They were very professional and took the time to explain it all to me as everything took place. Would highly recommend them if you are considering a reverse mortgage.

The Chip mortgage has enabled us to… live out our remaining years in a more comfortable manner.
The Chip mortgage has enabled us to reduce our debt load and reduce our mortgage payment to zero. In addition, the additional funds from Chip will enable us to do a few home upgrades and modifications that will enable us to stay in our home and make it more comfortable for the balance of our lives.

I made partial payment over a week ago. Even though funds are sitting there as per my file yet it’s taking so long for them to post it onto my account. This is very unfortunate. Last year funds were posted next day.

From the beginning my concerns were…
From the beginning my concerns were addressed by very kind professional staff. Every question was answered. The process was explained to me so I knew what to expect at each step. When I left my lawyer’s office I felt a weight lifted from my shoulders, knowing that in three days my debts would be gone and I could afford a family vacation. As a retired foster parent it was important to me to keep the home where so many children had grown up. They can visit me here in their safe familiar surroundings for years to come.
