OK, so I had a parcel shipped to me from Ottawa Ontario to Kemptville Ontario which is only 40 minutes drive away. Hindsight, I should have driven to pick it up myself. Chit Chat had promised 1-2 days... Toon meer

Terrible experience with Chit Chats. They may be the cheapest option, but the service is absolutely the worst.
Customer service gave unreasonable conditions (like requiring a buzzer code), and threatened to return my shipment — something that has never been an issue with Canada Post or UPS.
After paying for delivery, I still had to deliver the package myself. Completely unacceptable and defeats the purpose of using a shipping service.
Avoid at all costs if you value your time and money.

Totally non-sensical routing
Twice I’ve ordered items that shipped from Vancouver, BC (seller location) to Saskatoon, SK (my location) and both times the parcel was shipped from Vancouver to Mississauga, ON before going to Saskatoon. That’s a 6,000km detour that added 4 extra days to the original delivery date. Absolutely makes no sense and tells you all you need to know about how inefficient this carrier is. They also do not respond to customer service inquiries so would recommend avoiding this Clancy.
Perpetual waiting, no delivery in sight
I ordered two candles from Etsy. The seller is in Calgary and I am in Nova Scotia. The shipment has been "in transit" since February 20th. Today is March 3rd. No info. No updates. It still says "Estimated delivery in 4 business days" which would have been February 26th. Every day or two it updates to "in transit" with the current date, but no city, and no further information. Chit Chats had originally given a delivery date of March 2nd, but that has now come and gone, and I have no clue where my stuff is. They're just candles, but they were very expensive, and I would like to actually receive them.
Zero stars. Dreadful.

Had a bad experienced ! , all my parcels was lost (9 boxes in total , as I had a business and do ships within Canada ) Tried CHITCHATS SELECT to send all my parcels , book in their website ,then assigned CANPAR ( their third party courier) to pick it up the parcels and hand over to them ( that’s the process in their website) and after it has been picked it up by the Canpar staff , I noticed 2 days after , the tracking number of each parcel was still not updating . I called Chitchats , but no one help me out !! They want me to call Canpar , yes I did ! , many times!!! , but Chitchats didn’t even help me out as they’re working with Canpar too ! Canpar help me to find my parcel ( took about 3 months ) , I don’t know if they try to find it or what !!! ( or just fooling me ! ) , They advised for insurance claim but they said not on their part but in Chitchats Selects, sent an email to them but no action or response!!!!!
Steal my parcel (worth 1000cad) all beauty products !!!!

Greasy Incompetence
Deceptive practices from start to finish. The tracking is horrible and ineffective, plus you have to switch to a different tracking number when they switch shipping companies mid ship. The package is now 4 days late after their promised delivery date. Ineffective, inefficient, incompetent and incapable. I had held off trying this company and now I wished I had never used them. Run!

Do not use this company.. if you are purchasing a product and see this is the shipping company, run! I placed an order it got shipped December 14, I was told 4to8 business days.. I am still waiting and today is jan 4.. the package sat at their facility for 10 days before it moved.. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
My shipment was lost during delivery
My shipment was lost during delivery. I filed for compensation (i have been paying for insurance for over a year). It has been impossible to talk to a human and the chatbots have not been helpful at all. If you are not going to address these problems, why are we paying insurance?

This company is terrible
This company is terrible. They said they attempted a delivery, which was 100% false. I was home the entire day. We had a very light snowfall (1 cm), and not a single footprint to my door. And good luck getting any customer experience. Shame on any company using Chit Chats to save a couple bucks on shipping at the expense of actually serving their paying customers.
Two packages in one year didn't get…
Two packages in one year didn't get delivered to me with ebay sellers who used chit chats. It took over three weeks ti even get a delivery notice which just said "delivery assumed" and nothing arrived.
When i contacted them all I got back was an email that said contact the seller. Terrible service and I will never order anything from a seller that uses it.
Horrible experience
My phone was unknowingly on silent and I accidentally missed the call when the driver buzzed me to open the lobby door. I noticed the missed call and I met him when he was leaving the package at my door and he gave me an attitude about it saying in an angry tone 'why didn't you answer the call...". This was totally uncalled for and made me feel uncomfortable.
ChittChats and Juno Beach Centre Association cannot deliver
ChitChats claims to be a Canadian company BUT uses a courier company called Dragonfly International Delivery based in the Philippines. I spoke with their customer rep who confirmed that after I had ordered a magnet from Juno Beach Centre Association in Toronto and their Executive Director, Alex Fitzgerald-Black, insisted on using ChitChats for deliveries in Canada.
Short story: they did not deliver.
Dragonfly delivery person threw a packet on the floor outside the public lobby of my building then claimed it had been “delivered”. There is a window to the superintendent’s office outside but that was ignored. FedEx, UPS and legitimate couriers can get access so why not fly-by-night Dragonfly?
ChitChats AND the Juno Breach Centre Association are BOTH located in Ontario as I am so should have used Canada Post or domestic couriers but NOT Dragonfly or any similar offshore cheapo company.
The tracking info was useless since the delivery was botched. Chit Chats closed my complaint ticket saying I should contact my “seller” which is useless.
ChitChats needs to buy Canadian. Why go outside the country to deliver inside the country?
Never deal with any vendor who uses ChitChts or Dragonfly if you want to get your stuff.
Chit Chats Has No Growth Potential
Chit Chats in Vancouver, Canada has made *no* concerted effort in yrs to expand its branch accessibility. The two I'm aware of are spaced impractically far apart, with the HQ being situated in a remote industrial park deep in the East Side. Keeping a fairly watchful eye on the lack of expansion attempts has me leaned away from the co.
In spring '25 CC marketed what read as a majorly positive development with Purolator via the *SmartDrop* prog. Patrons could take deliverables to any Purolator outlet for outbound shipment, so the tale told. I confirmed this with CC sales b/f taking a shipment to my local Purolator—where counter staff had exactly no idea what Chit Chats was.
Rather than being a true drop spot, Purolator would only ship items bearing its labels (bought from CC) then redirect the labeled items back to a CC depot. In effect, CC patrons would additionally pay Purolator as intermediary. Apart from some convenience lent to high-vol. shippers, net cost of doing biz. for everyone else equals an increase.
CC's sys. denied the label refund I proposed in June when the service gap became obvious. For me the journey to its warehouse on Tumbleweed St. presents no value. Consequently, the label will expire unused, not for my unwillingness to send out the pkg, but for a stagnant biz. uwilling to make itself accessible.
I would give zero stars if I could
I would give zero stars if I could. Anyone should avoid using this company. they held onto my 7 packages for weeks without notifying me of anything. When I tried to figure out what's going on, it took them a week to get back to me to say I need to add some extra information. It's already been 3 weeks since I dropped them off and I had to refund all of my customers. Now I am giving them the information they need, they are ghosting me again. This is the most horrible shipping company I have ever dealt with. I will never use them again.

Why is this Tracking number: GRS01866D4K9ZETAKX9 being sent back-to-back merchant? Been waiting over 8 days for this. Just terrible service. I'll be putting my full reviews on social media. I tried calling your office but no answer and can't even leave a message, more terrible service.

misleading business practice
Chit Chats has been charging “customs tariffs” on U.S. shipments since late August 2025, even for duty-exempt items.
These fees have no legal basis and are presented as mandatory.
Customers who question these charges do not receive a clear explanation or a refund.
The company’s website adds to the confusion by stating that “tariffs may apply depending on the item,” without further clarification.
I consider this a misleading business practice.
they destroy your packages
I shipped to another place in Canada and the carton was totally broken as well as the treasured collector piece inside and then even with all the insurance they denied the claim and this is not even the first breakage sent to this customer that broke. the delivery workers in Ontario are dangerous to your treasures
