I ordered a couple of these early in January and both are wonderful looking things.
Unfortunately I have had an issue with one of them, where the metal inner vessel became detached from the thread to screw it into the wooden housing.
I email customer support not expecting much as is often the way these days, but I got a response the very next day apologising profusely and offering a replacement with no fuss.
Grace was brilliant throughout the exchanges and is an absolute credit to the company; if this level of support is consistent across the business that is phenomenal.

Well, initially my experience wasn't great. Ordered the V3, arrived in an opened package (EVRI). V3 was damaged, the interior wouldn't come out at all for the dishwasher, badly misaligned. However I contacted Customer Services via email. Corresponded with a lovely Lady called Grace. Said she would send a replacement (no need to send faulty one back). Arrived today. Fantastic, package not opened (Royal Mail). V3 perfect, interior unscrews, midnight black, initial there. Absolutely PERFECT.

I’ve had some issues with my initial order regarding the build quality of my Chuugs. I ordered two of them, both had what I would call as manufacturing defects. Grace from Chuug reached out to me and asked if there’s anything they can do to make things right. I was in a bit of a shock coz these days very few companies look after their customers the way Chuug do. I asked for a replacement for one of them, just one, coz I said the other one isn’t that bad and I could live with the imperfections of the other one. They said they will replace both and did not want me to send the faulty Chuugs back! It was a wow moment for me! It is very rare nowadays to experience this type of costumer service and appreciation! Good job guys! 🫡

Chuug. This is my fourth purchase of this coloured Chuug - all purchased as presents for my husband, brother and another two male friends. All of whom have loved them! It’s the best and most unusual present for any male! Would recommend Chuug to anyone as they just don’t provide a good product but also an excellent service!

I won a Chuug mug as part of a white elephant gift during the holidays. It quickly became my primary drinking vessel and I literally packed it in my luggage when traveling. It's rugged yet still refined and is clearly unique.

I had an issue and worked with customer support to resolve it. They were absolutely fantastic even though I didn't have the original receipt or order number.

I will carry this to my grave. It's my coffee mug in the morning, my water mug during the day, and my beer mug at night. It keeps hot things hot, cold things cold, and unscrews for easy cleaning.

Had the mug just over a week and can already feel a slight crack appearing at the top looks like where the wood is joined. Also this morning the male plastic screw in part at the bottom of the metal insert has cracked and also come apart from the metal insert not what you would expect for the price and the claim of a lifetime guarantee really disappointed
Following a great immediate response from Chuug who sent out replacement mugs straight away without question I have changed my rating to a five star one for customer service alone.

Well, it's a long story, so i'm gonna make it short.All sorts of issues with shipping.Was sent back to the u?K it was a complete nightmare. But customer service rectified, the problem they shipped the DHL so I get it and then I ordered 6 more and they sent it D. HL on them, so I got it before my party. The mugs are great, you know, it could have been even with the lip. When they put the stainless steel screw in, there's like a little wood lip there, it could have made it a little bit bigger, so it covered the wood. But that's a minute complaint. Maybe they'll fix that another time. Maybe inversion 4, but I absolutely love the mugs are actually great for coffee too. I like a big coffee mug in 22 and a 1 ounces is awesome. I would highly recommend Em. Just make sure the shipping issues. It really wasn't theirs. It was basically because they couldn't find my place. And they set it back to the UK because it said address. Didn't exist. So that was that was a main issue, but all well and good. I got my my other six before my party. So everything worked out great. Thank you so much, Brian.

I bought three personalized jug vessels for my brother (B) and my son (N) and myself (S). We all love them. However, one of the jugs, mine (S), does not screw out as easy as the other two. It takes a lot of effort to get the inner out of the wooden vessel. Just gonna leave it in and not worry about it. Still disappointing. But both my brother and son loved the gifts they had. My son is actually considering giving them as gifts to his groomsmen for the wedding he is having next spring. Sorta hoping the one messed up one could be replaced. We will see?

I bought the Dawn Chuug and the Dusk one both with charcoal handles. The quality of both was outstanding. The Dawn Chuug was for my future son-in-law who looks like a Viking and he was mightily impressed. Mine accompanied me (more Merlin than Viking!) for the last games of The Six Nations and will now be my lifelong drinking companion.
Highly recommended.

I bought 5 for my wedding party. They are absolutely beautiful. One of them has a minor flaw (scratch) on the wood but other than that, they are beautiful and well made.

This mug is among the finest Viking-themed mugs I've had the pleasure of handling, expertly crafted and effortlessly cleaned.

Lots of communication on shipping, it came in a timely matter, oh and the mugs are great! ☺️

My wife bought me the V2 as a Christmas present a couple of years ago. I absolute loved it and used it everyday until the metal cylinder sadly came unglued. It became awkward to drink from. When I sent Chuug a message asking for advice on particular glues etc to fix it. They instead sent me a brand new V3 free of charge. The V2 was great. The V3 is better in every way. The craftsmanship is outstanding. The handle is built to feel comfortable in your hands. The removable metal cylinder is a game changer and the metal lip over the top feels alot more natural to drink from. Will definitely be happy to gift a Chuug to anyone. On top of a fantastic product, the customer service was 2nd to none, and my replacement Chuug arrived within 2 - 3 days. Not a single negative word to say!!
