CHUUG Reviews

I never received it. Emailed the shipping company and CHUUG and never got a response. Looks cool on the pictures posted on the website.

Ordered three for the clan the mugs are exceptional but I would like to say is we had our initial it would be nice if the stainless steel insert was initial to

Worth the wait. I ordered two, one for me and one for my best mate. They were delivered ahead of schedule and they so well made. I'm chuffed with mine and sure mu mate will love his equally.

Although I had an issie with my first 2 mugs, the products were replaced and the issues corrected straight away.

Now that I have the replacement mugs, I absolutely love them. Really nice to drink from and the handle is so comfy to hold.

Plus, its more than a pint, so I can trick the bar into giving more beer 😁

Thank you to Grace for your updates and special care when handling my initial complaint.

Beautiful craftsmanship; responsive customer service; not yet used as is a Christmas gift; seems worth the wait; fine presentation . . .

Loving my chuug I got for my bday
Finally a proper sized mug
Good rope handle
Screws in and out easy n keep cuppa warm for a good while
Would be good to have a removable lid for when I'm out mind... Hint hint 😁
Otherwise mint

These are pricey but on receipt and use I can say without hesitation that they're worth every penny. I'm going to order at least three more of these for Christmas gifts.

The quality is something not just visible but physically tangible in handling and use; the woodwork is spectacular; the volume is perfect for two 12-ounce brews (after sipping away some foam); the stainless insert keeps the brew cold a full 20 minutes plus after the pour (I timed it - and the 20 minutes rating is from someone who likes his brew ice cold); the removable stainless insert allows pre-freezing to enhance cooling; the big hemp rope handle is virtually indestructible and is exactly the same type as the big hemp ropes we used to swing around on as kids, Tarzan-fashion, up in the haymow of the barn on our family farm.

The only suggestion I would make for Ver. 4 would be to rethink the three metal "feet" on the bottom, because given that there are just three the stein can be tippy. I would recommend either adding a fourth or just switching from metal feet altogether to a single ring of heavy-duty steel-radial-caliber tire rubber around the periphery, maybe a good pencil-width in cross-sectional width. That would add a no-skid quality too. But that's just a suggestion on a minor detail.

Buy with confidence. You will not be disappointed.

Still have not received my order.

Ordered two. $180 with shipping.

For that price, I expect these to be perfect, or damn close.

1. Both of the metal badges with initials were glued on crooked.

2. One of the badges was only partially installed with half of it sticking out past the wood. It came right off and I had to re-glue it properly.

3. The metal inserts don't line up well to the wood.

4. Both metal inserts were dirty.

5. Took a long time to arrive.

One star seems harsh, but when you market yourself as a premium brand and charge premium prices, you should really provide a premium product. Not feeling that.

Awesome product, came exactly as described.
Great communication.

Initially gave a review more for the shipping process as I had not gotten the product. I did finally get the product and am very happy with it. These Chuug containers are top notch and very well made. Very happy with the purchase.

I purchased 2 CHUUG tankards with personalized initial. One for me and one to gift to my bro in law. Ordering was easy, updates on my order came regularly, and I received them in just a couple weeks. They came packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. They are beautiful, functional works of art. They look and feel awesome! Very strong and sturdy. Love the texture of the handle! And they're plenty big and keep drinks nice and cold (as expected).

Love the craftsmanship

I ordered as a special surprise.... we were away and I ordered to the address we were staying at.... Not much communication (not such a bad thing sometimes), Unfortunately by the time of delivery (3 weeks later) we were no longer at the address and the occasion had passed. The delivery company also delivered to the wrong address.... Not the Chuug company's fault. Anyway went back to the address and hunted about and found at a neighbours house. Those are the negative points!! However the chugs were well packed and exactly as described. Great fun! At no stage during the ordering process was a time scale mentioned and most of the negative feedback seems to follow that path!!

Beautifully made product. Bought as a gift for my husband’s 70th he loves it.
Came well packaged, would have liked a little brochure about it and ongoing care, rather than just the QR code.
Overall very impressed.

I gave one of the mugs as a gift. The recipient loved it. The mug is beautiful and well made. The recipient really liked the sturdy rope handle and the removable, dishwasher safe insert.
I am glad I purchased a second one as a Christmas gift for another lucky person.

I love the quality of my Chuug and the honesty of it; it’s different, it’s from times past yet it is of today, fantastic!

Love the Chuug. Very nice. However. It sweats when I put a cold drink in it. Should it do that? Is that good for the wood overtime? Does it need a foam insulator between the wood and the removable stainless insert?

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Customer Service
I recently received a replacement Chuug for my son-in-law after his original one had a manufacturing fault, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful.
From my very first contact, the customer service was exceptional. Grace was helpful, understanding, and responsive throughout the entire process. Everything was dealt with quickly and efficiently, and the way the issue was resolved went far beyond anything I expected.
In a time when great customer service can be hard to find, the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown really stood out. It’s clear that this company truly values its customers. Not only are the products fantastic, but the after-sales support is every bit as impressive.
My son-in-law and I are absolutely delighted. What could have been a disappointing experience turned into a completely positive one because of the way it was handled.
A huge thank you to Grace and everyone involved. Companies that go the extra mile deserve recognition, and this is certainly one of them. I would highly recommend both the products and the company to anyone looking for quality and exceptional customer care.

Absolutely love the mugs. Ordered for my wedding party. Everything came out perfect, they were great about making sure they got shipped in time for the event, communication was good with the company and product was fantastic.
