Was exactly as described and as ordered and the quality is amazing

I received the Chuug for my son’s birthday within 10 days. In itself it is a stunning piece of artwork ,so well made and the colour I chose (dusk with a black rope ) was amazing . My son loved it . I’m planning on buying another one for husband and myself .

It’s over priced for what it is, the plastic screw insert in my mug wasn’t even centered (the fact that it’s a cheap plastic screwed in insert also is dissapointing), leading to the metal ‘cup’ not sitting flush with the wooden outer case. I’m pretty sure the wooden panels are also not consistently from the same batch leading to a very uneven finish.

The add was what got my attention,cheesey but effective.I bought two as I'm in Texas and made sense because of the shipping.
Quality seems to be fine, I've been using them for coffee so far, but will be a topic of conversation this weekend as I celebrate my 60th filled up with Ale!

Terrible customer service – Avoid for time-sensitive milestone gifts""I ordered a two-pack bundle of tankards as a milestone 21st birthday present for my son. After ordering, the system gave a delivery estimate way past his birthday. I immediately replied to the confirmation email asking if they could accommodate the date, explaining it was for a 21st birthday. I received a cold, rigid, automated template response refusing to help or look into fast-tracking it, despite them claiming to be a personal, independent workshop. I have cancelled my order. Deeply disappointing service for what should have been a special family milestone. Do not trust them if you have a deadline."

The mugs are almost perfect, but the delivery to the U.S. was longer than expected. The craftsmanship is stellar, but the design of the metal inner liner and screwing mechanism needs improvement. One of my liners fell off after being put in the dishwasher, and both liners of my two mugs never align perfectly when reinserted. There’s an obvious gap where you place your lips on the mug. Is it because of the humidity in my area that affects how the metal liner meets the edge of the wood mug? May buy another mug and then reach out to customer service for assistance.

I think they are wonderful. I bought 2 mugs for my son's birthday. He lives them. I bought midnight and dusk. I will be getting him dawn. He guys are awesome. Love the videos funny cute and they let us know how to take care of rhe mugs. Thanks guys keep up the good work 10 stars

Delivery to Northern Australia took longer than expected- i amost thought it was going to be delivered by a Viking who'd walked and swam, so it missed the birthday BUT it was so well received and loved by the recipient once we got it. Beautifully presented, id suggest the bag that comes with it be made out of a soft cloth that doubles as the cloth to wipe down the wood tankard. Great gift would recommend

Superb! They look great online and they’re even better in the flesh so to speak. Arrived quickly considering I had mine personalised with my initial. Looks and feels great and I can’t wait to use it.

I bought 2 of these and honestly I was a little disappointed in both mugs. The 3 problems apply to both mugs.

1. The wooden part has some scratches or places at the top where the liner meets the wood with no finish. Because the mug itself is black it’s pretty noticeable.
2. The liner does not match up well with the top of the wooden mug and has a slight edge you can feel when drinking.
3. The rope handle is not as stiff as I feel it was described.

They were packed well and shipping was pretty fast.
The mugs are ok but nothing special and I do not believe as good as advertised.

UPDATE

After using one mug for 2 weeks I have changed my review to one star.

1. The plastic piece that is attached to the inner liner fell off so screwing the liner to the shell is now impossible. This makes the mug pretty much useless.
2. The finish where the wood meets the liner is now completely bare wood and very unsightly.

This thing is not worth the cost and as far as the craftsmanship goes it’s pretty poor. Quality control must not exist. I was going to give the second one I purchased as a gift, but will probably just pitch it. I cannot in good conscience recommend this product.

I wasn’t expecting my Chugg to be this Awesome!! I love my chugg!! I received it, & it was made beautifully!! I love the fact that I can remove the metal inside of the mug, to wash it. The wood is beautiful, the Rope handle is very fitting in the design, My initial on it is gorgeous, & Now My husband wants his own🤣 I will order him one next!!

Great product. Looks great and the rope handle is sturdy and comfortable. I'm really happy with my purchase. The only thing I'd highlight is that being a metal tankard there is an unusual 'metallic' taste. If you've not used a metal tankard before it takes some getting used to - switched back to glass for Guiness. Isn't a fault of the product, just something to be aware of.

I absolutely love my chugg I'm very much into my unusual drinking vessels i have a skull one aswell. it's well built easy to pick up even when full it is well made and sturdy and can take a knock or 2 as i dropped it on the way to my local on the first day of having it haha. I keep getting people commenting on how cool it is and that they want one. The only problem is it didn't come with the bag to keep it in but Hay ho lol. Thanks guys thumbs up all around.

Just received my order, beautifully packaged and the Chug is better than I thought it would be. If my son in law doesn't like it I don’t think I'll speak to him again.

I have three of these now they were gifts and they are cherished they are so well made if you follow the care instructions they will last forever they arrived super fast too

So beautifully made and packaged. I surprised my husband with the Chuug and he was so excited. It’s the perfect gift for the “Viking” in your life!

Bought for my husband he absolutely loves it. He can now enjoy a nice cool drink in this heat its a real boon.
A lot of his friends are quite envious xx

Purchased 2 of the V3 mugs one for myself and the other as a birthday gift for a mate. Quick service, well wrapped and presented. A very nice drinking vessel does exactly as described. Nice feel to the wooden body and the rope handle just sets it off beautifully well pleased with it. Only gripe is that I wished I had chosen the darker rope handle however that was my mistake. Would highly recommend you won’t be disappointed.
