Looks like i am another victim of there scam. I can now see the reviews ,this is what they do. No response to my emails.no tracking number provided . Avoid at all costs. Will be raising charge back

Delivery was a little slow on this occasion (issue with courier I believe) but communication was very good and all the items arrived. Very good value for money. Highly recommended.

I agree with all the other one star reviews, it's clearly a scam company, no goods delivered, no reply to emails, no customer service, no intention of supplying the parts. Don't go anywhere near...
Never received part, even after being promised they would send it out again.
I ordered a part and never received it.
After I contacted them, they promised to send out the part again.
But again it didn't show up.
Since it was a relatively cheap part and I've bought it somewhere else since, I'll leave it.
But I definitely will never buy anything from City Bug Store again and would strongly advise against it.

Scammers no order after nearly 3 weeks and now no reply to emails, avoid at all costs now have to contact PayPal to try and get refund. F@@king hate scammers and fraudsters, emailed me to comment about this review and said will refund, but oh what a surprise no refund.

Bought speakers from them and after a couple of weeks without delivery I chased up. This went on for a few more weeks with me being told ‘any day now’ multiple times. Now emails blocked and still no refund.

Bought replacement speakers from these tossers but they had no intention of delivering.
Got a receipt of the transaction and was told it had been shipped, 1 month later i checked and wrote them a message. They told me it had been shipped but wouldn't give me a tracking number or anything proving the package indeed exists.
Was promised a refund but instead they stopped responding to my mails.
Now they ignore my mails and refuse to refund my money. Will get it refunded from PayPal instead I sincerly hope these nonces get blacklisted.

As a real long time customer of citybug store I disagree with all this essay writing rants, the sign of someone forcing their side of the story is always far too much talk.
I've ordered over £1000 of items over 5 years, and have never had a issue at all ever, not once in all that time.
You pay with Paypal, so are totally protected for 180 days anyhow, there is zero risk here and just 'small business bashing' which the UK as a whole seems to love these days.
You'd miss it if it was gone, I sure would.

I made the first mistake by not checking here before I ordered, I made my order on 1/1/2022 for £64.96 on the 10th I was told my parcel had been dispatched (no tracking number) on the 15th I asked for an update which I was told he would look into it on Monday 17th.
Tuesday the 18th I get a reply saying he was on hold for three hours at a time while trying to find the order.
Wednesday the 19th he told me it was lost or damaged I asked for him to resend the goods which he never replied so asked Paypal for a refund on the 20th. On the 2nd of February Paypal refunded me and luckily found some honest retailers for my parts.
Be warned they have an ebay store.

I try and support small enthusiast run businesses and will forgive a few mistakes but dealing with this company is always a challenge. Iv ordered a few items with them in the past months and every one has had something missing or unreasonably long delivery times. I fully understand the challenges businesses are going through but it just seems to be excuse to excuse from Mark. For example I waited over two months (paid for 24hr delivery and was sent 48hr just to really rub it in) for a speaker upgrade kit and then when it finally arrived the adaptor loom was missing. After sending numerous emails I finally got a reply and was asked if the package was torn or damaged because he “definitely put the loom in” As you can read in many reviews on this site you will not be surprised that the package wasn’t damaged at all. Mark then put the blame squarely on the delivery company and said he would take the loss and send me another one, he tried to charge me for postage at first but did back down after a few emails. I made a post on his Facebook group about my experience and was very quickly banned from the group!!
My experience from this company has been bad, doesn’t matter if I ordered from his website or his eBay store it was always a bad experience to see what didn’t arrive or was missing from the order. Excuse after excuse and very slow to sort issues out.
Luckily for me a small local part parts shop has opened up near me and I use that now for all my parts. They are more expensive than Mark but I have always got the right parts and if there is ever an issue I’m very confident it would be sorted quickly

Bought a bug for my daughter and looked for parts to upgrade. Installing a radio upgrade and needed a few parts. Two parts out of three orders arrived. the ariel adapter didnt. only £1.99. thought id support a small business. When i contacted them. the only reply i got was ‘Did the package have a rip. I definatly put it in’. The package was not torn, or damaged in any way. 16mile round trip to halfords to get one as I couldnt install without it. No offer of help of any kind. Will definatly not be using again. UPDATE. STILL NO REFUND OR PART……

Non delivery of parts - due to them not sending, messed about via email, refund not being given despite them admitting they never shipped the parts over some reason apparently the courier wouldn't take them as they were bigger than they had told the courier themselves.
1 x exhaust (£49.99) & other items - coming to total £70.23 - on 6th September 2021
£49.99 refund still outstanding 12th November 2021 despite being told on multiple occasions it is on its way, then via PayPal - still not here
Have started a Statuary Demand proceeding.

To be fair they couldn't deliver everything as I'm from n.Ireland, but they always replied to all emails and refunded for the parts that their courier could not ship. Don't be put off by other reviews.

Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Taking money for items that aren’t in stock. Will not provide tracking details, spins a web of lies.
Mark you have a great little business, unfortunately you need to start telling the truth instead of the constant blagging and lies.
Having to report you to PayPal for a refund for a second time is not a way to run a business.
Your response after refunding, have this one on me when the items never arrived is not a great reply.
Order failed to arrive.
I ordered a speaker upgrade kit and did wait patiently from June 7th to Sept 30th when I cancelled the order and asked for a refund. It is now Oct 25th, no sign of a refund and no response from my last two emails. Their website still showed theses items were in stock, - I won't be using this site again. Nb, it's now December 21st a further Email to City Bug Store did get a reply stating that my order had been cancelled but omitted to mention any refund. A quick check on my bank account shows I have not received my money back as yet!

I ordered a full clutch renovation-kit for my Aygo in late may 2020, worth 260GBP.
Start october, i still haven't seen or heard anything from the parcel. I've been communicating with the seller for a while but it seems like they just tried to stall me. Seller says the parcel has been sent twice, but i've never received any shippinginformation from any shippingcompany.
I live in Denmark - a parcel from UK to Denmark really shouldn't take four months.
Now i've tried to contact seller to ask for a refund, and suddenly all answers has stopped. I've messaged seller several times asking for a refund, but no answer.
Start January 2021 I still haven't heard or seen anything from the parcel or the refund.
Seller told me several times to get the refund issued, but still nothing happened
I ordered the parts in may 2020. January 2021 i still haven't seen either the parts or my money.
Update October 2021:
The company answered my emails and told me that i would get a refund if i deleted this review on Trustpilot. I did so, and still haven't got any refund.

Liar who will do anything to shift blame
Items eventually arrived as described, however CBS fabricated story about late delivery and went out of their way to hide that the item was posted late. Repeatedly asked for tracking info and was ignored, despite CBS messaging me with updates that I didn't ask for. Tracked item once I had finally received it and it had been posted a week later than stated. CBS clearly does not have the stock they claim they do. Also sent via 48h courier service, not 24h as advertised.
CBS abuses eBay feedback policy and will do anything to remove neutral/negative feedback. eBay have confirmed that feedback was removed in error but cannot be reinstated, yet this seems to happen regularly.
CBS will claim I am not a customer despite the same individual running the eBay store and main website.

Would NOT use this company again - EVER!

Between January 2021 and March, I was assured numerous times by Mark that the refund was on its way but needless to say - no refund received! Since then he’s also stopped replying to emails so there’s no way to progress this other than sites like this and Trading Standards.

Avoid at all costs. Company Just takes Money and fails to-do anything. Ordered a forum membership had to pay postage and now forum has gone. Asking on FB Forumn user is now avoiding all questions regarding forum.

AVOID - seriously Avoid!
AVOID! Wish i had read reviews before, no communication after 3 weeks of constant pestering over and over i got a message saying delivery returned to them not sure why! Refused to give any tracking info had to go through PayPal for a refund, they cancelled the order but still awaiting a refund. If they had spoken to us it would have been different but honestly i feel scammed.
