Looks like i am another victim of there scam. I can now see the reviews ,this is what they do. No response to my emails.no tracking number provided . Avoid at all costs. Will be raising charge back

I ordered an exhaust and service kit back in May. The service kit turned up after over a month's delay but I have never received the exhaust. Up until July I was repeatedly told it was on its way but then I was offered a full refund. That is now 2 months ago and despite many emails I still do not have my money back. Now they are not not even responding to my emails.

Ordered 2 rear wheel bearings and told them I needed them urgently. I live in South Africa a offered to pay extra for a courier which I did. I think it must be about a year and citybug always say they will look into it or they wil find out where the part is. Nothing yet, could not even give me a tracking number. So if your delivery is not COD I will not order from them again.

SCAM, AVOID
I have ordered some lights 3 months back and never received it. I have messaged Mark countless times about this and all I had was excuses and 'I have the receipts as proof etc.' I have asked for a refund and to cancel my order but he only gave me more excuses. I had to escalate this to the consumers ombudsman

Ordered some parts, took over 6 weeks to arrive which I returned after since having since got them somewhere else (who delivered in 48 hours)
Requested a refund and this took over a month. Just received empty promises and continual excuses following a similar pattern to other reviews on here . (Hermes not delivering, banking issues, personal problems etc)
Finally received a refund out of the blue, which happened to be just a few hours after I first disputed the transaction through my bank.

Ordered an expensive part January 2021 , said it had been dispatched on 2 or 3 occasions….we have never received this part and it’s now the middle of July. Asked for a refund numerous times , response from Mark in May that things have been tough , appreciate that Mark but things have been tough for us too , 24th May Mark promised refund would be with us within 3 days we are still £150.00 out of pocket no refund or part received. This company has taken our money and not supplied the goods we ordered, more than unscrupulous, can’t be trusted
Order your parts elsewhere.
Ordered service kit and speakers in may 2020. Nothing received except a lot of excuses. Asked for resending with tracking, but tracking shows that parcel never left the sender. Even more excuses and was promised a refund in march 2021. Still no refund despite a sufficient amount of reminders. Stay away.
SCAM, don't order parts here!
I ordered a clutch and maintenance kit from the City Bug Store in January of 2021, amounting to just shy of £120. Mark confirmed my order and replied to my messages.
In April, after asking for several updates on the status, it became clear to me that the order would never arrive. I cancelled and requested a refund.
Now, many reminders later I still have not received any parts or refund. Mark has stopped replying to my messages and I feel the order was never sent in the first place.
I made a Truspilot account just to warn you: If you need parts for your city bug, look elsewhere!
It's a scam don't use them!
I ordered part for my car in October 2020. I was in contact with Mark every week since the order went through. The order then got lost in manchester somewhere after 2 months of me waiting. So I requested a refund and now its been 8 months and I've still not received a refund. Mark no longer replies to my emails. Its a scam and nobody should use these people. Terrible service. No parts and no refund. Disgraceful!
Reply to citybug: I sent an email again on 29th March and no reply. I no longer need the parts for my car so I do not require a credit note. Wouldn't trust my parts to arrive anyway. Please process my refund as you promised in your emails. The parts never arrived so you should contact your courier to get your product back.

Goods never arrived
Ordered my goods in January, it is now June and the goods have not arrived. I have contacted the store five times, I have asked for a refund four times. The package never had a tracking number which seems very unusual to me. They also asked if I could chase it up with the post office, which isn't only impossible because I have no details, but it is not my responsibility. I have paid for goods and shipping and received nothing. I have seen from other reviews that this seems to be a common problem with this store.

Slow response
I ordered a boot liner for my Peugeot 107 as I was selling my car and the current one was damaged. Hoping it would arrive quickly, I had to chase up the item to be advised it was made bespoke and therefore does take some time. I was happy to wait as needed it. I then received an email stating it had been shipped but received nothing to my address. I chased up again to be told that they could ship directly to the dealership but I thought it had already been shipped to me which caused some confusion. I was then told that it had been shipped but it must not have got to me and that they could ship directly to the dealership whom I had since sold my car to. I checked with the dealership about getting it shipped directly to them but the car had already been sold by auction. I emailed Mark again who then agreed he would send me a refund as this seemed the easier option.
It seems since being promised a refund I have received no contact or refund for the goods despite chasing a few times. Communication wasn't too bad whilst my order was in processing stage but seems once I needed to get a refund, all communication has ceased. Very disappointing.
UPDATED
I since received a response noting personal issues and a full refund has been provided. It's a shame it took my review to provoke a response but at least it has now been resolved.

Unreliable and inconsistent service
This site calls itself the "Official Supplier to the C1 Owners Club". If like me you have bought a secondhand C1, it seems like a great idea. I ordered some carpet mats from the site. These were in-stock and came within about a week. So far so good, I was fully satisfied.
However I also ordered a rubber boot liner, described as a special order, minimum 10 days. I was happy to wait.......and wait.......and wait. Nearly 3 months later still not received. Initially advised by Mark that there was a bit of a supply chain issue and offered a chance to cancel. I persisted. Then advised goods were coming from Far East. Again offered a refund. Eventually I gave up and asked for a refund, having found what I wanted on someone else's eBay site, which arrived within 2 days.
I have asked Mark for a refund of £26.98 at least 3 times now, but he doesn't do me the courtesy of replying to my emails. He must give a better service in his eBay shop if he is highly rated as he says but this will be the last time I try and buy anything from him.

By coincidence I am sure, I received a response the morning after posting this. Personnel issues were cited for the delay. The following day I received a full refund. I would still make sure items were in stock before ordering and ideally buy off his eBay site and/ or use PayPal.

Fraudulent. DO NOT SHOP HERE
Shocking. Ordered 2 wheels in march, wasn't sent a confirmation email until I chased them up and I still didn't receive even an order number. After this I still didn't receive my items or confirmation of shipping. Multiple emails were sent in order to get a refund as I still don't have my parts. Was told I'd receive said refund but am yet to get this back. Have sent more emails and am getting no reply or money. DO NOT SHOP HERE

Another positive experience
I ordered a "Winter Special Service Kit 1.0 05-14" to prepare for the annual service on my Citroen C1. Last year I used the "Service kit + Cabin" but I didn't see the point of changing the cabin filter so soon.
Delivery isn't the quickest but the kit arrived about 7 days after ordering. All the items in the kit are OEM spec or better, so perfect for completing services without the hassle of trailing round motor factors and potentially ending up with inferior parts.
Performing the service itself is a doddle. The trickiest parts are getting the car up and onto axle stands (not strictly necessary but makes draining the oil easier) and reading that flipping dipstick! It's an art in itself!
Comms with the company are usually quick with any queries I've had answered promptly. I found the guys knowledgeable and helpful, and quick to give of their own time to help fellow owners out.
In summary, I've never been disappointed
with the quality of items I've received or customer support when I needed a little guidance. My only caveat is that you should order in advance of when you need items as delivery can be a little pedestrian.
Keep up the good work - the city bug community is richer by having its own dedicated specialist 'shop'.

Placed an order this time last year, still hasn't arrived.
I've been told my order is being sent to me three times during 2020 but the product didn't ever arrive. And whenever I sent emails in to ask for an update/refund I didn't get a response. The one response I did get stated that my emails were going to their spam folder (no responses after that either)
I want a refund, it's fair to say I deserve one
Poor packaging, poor attitude
Ordered through eBay store. Chased up when parts didn't arrive, said the item packaging had been damaged by courier who had failed to inform him. Fair play another was sent which arrived a few days later. I commented in eBay review that packaging was poor to which there was a flipant response about it being the manufacturers packing.
It was retail packaging designed to be handed to customer off the shelf of a store which he had sealed with some basic sellotape and slapped a packing label on top of. Even if he only ordered one item from a supplier I can guarantee it would not have been delivered in such a state.
His attitude to customers is, in my opinion, quite poor and I will not use again, in future I will pay a little more and use a local factors instead.
This review is about the overall experience of using citybugstore and my advice to anyone is its useful as a source of research for your city bug but if you want items to arrive first time and reasonably protected then order elsewhere!

Ordered parts months ago
Ordered parts months ago. He kept blaming the borders as being the issue. Months and months later I requested a refund and guess what. Still nothing. I'd avoid for sure. Absolutely terrible company
