My experience started out fine even though response time was slow and some mistakes were made on their part that delayed things. I realize they don't give legal advice but when I found a local lawyer to help with an issue and asked for Clear Estate to do the documents, they never responded. I asked at least 3 times for copies of a demand letter they sent so I could prove that was done, no response. In getting to the final distribution, I've heard from them once almost 2 months ago and haven't heard anything since. I gave up asking questions as they would never respond to them. I've come to the conclusion that it's important to get probate help from legal professionals that are familiar with the county the probate is being held in. Not knowing even the smallest rules of that court can cause costly delays.

There is a lot of support during the first few steps of the process. However, lately I have experienced a problem with response time. I provided all the beneficiary information two months ago and filled out as much information as I had in my possession on the DE forms over two months ago. I have been asking questions about next steps but I'm not getting answers. In fact the response times have fallen off considerably. It appears that things could be moving much more quickly than they have been. Very frustrating to be ready to proceed and not get answers to your questions. Edited: Since my initial review, Clemence has been added to my support team. She is communicative and responsive to my questions. She is smart and informative and has changed the speed at which we are moving forward to one I can definitely live with. If this continues, I will be happy to provide another positive update to this review.
Edited 08/01: Since Clemence has become involved, others have elevated their support - based on her remaining a go-between. She knows what has to be done, apparently is able to task her team to complete her requirements, and has made this process feel much more as if the company is now "doing what comes next" in a timely manner. I would recommend using the company but she would come with my recommendation.

This service was non-existing so I was relieved when Matthew explained to me what you do.
Everyone does a little here and a little there. Lots say they provide a full service but once you start talking to them you quickly realize they do not. Lawyers etc only provide 20% of what’s required.

So I was actually relieved to here this is not a bunch of over educated over priced lawyers looking at ways to boost their billable time charging for petty items like sending faxes or mailing letters.

One fixed price to provide everything required from Wills, Trusts, POAs, Executors To Estate & Asset Management as well Henson Trust Management for the disabled which is something my family needs. The full suite of online tools to do it all is Fantastic. Thank you ClearEstate!!

I see your rebuttal is a load of liquid cow manure. The client is not the executor, there was no will. YOU were asked to be executor as the client is not trusted. Arbitration is the only way now thanks to your ineptitude to understand, you should read as a company 331 and 332 of the criminal code of Canada.

John was friendly, polite and answered all my questions. I hope to continue working with the clear estate team.

It is a little too early in the process for us to write a complete review, but to date we have found the few interactions to be very positive. The follow-up after each interaction has been quick and sincere, and instills confidence that we are being well looked after. We are looking forward to June 27th for the scheduled information meeting.
