I was out shopping for a high value item and when paying at the till my Co-op debit card was rejected. Within a minute, I received a call from Co-op Bank admin saying they were putting me through to their fraud department. Within a few seconds a member of the fraud team came on and after a security check, asked me about the transaction that had just been flagged up to them. We had a brief conversation and I confirmed to him that it was completely bona fide. He was satisfied and advised he would remove the block on the transaction and within a few seconds the purchase was satisfactorily completed. The gentleman was most amiable and helpful and my overriding feeling was that of reassurance that this process was triggered and that the Co-op Bank are doing sterling work to defeat the increasing scams and financial criminality we are seeing these days!

I went into one of your branches in Liverpool to open a new account with you and everything went smoothly. The staff in the branch were very helpful and very friendly. I had to wait three days for a decision and when the decision came back they didn’t accept me, which made me feel a bit on unhappy because there was no decision given why they wouldn’t accept me they need to improve that
