Inappropriate Requirement to Upload Scans of Passport/ Bank Statements
I'm not happy with the fact that I had to upload a scan of my passport and bank statements to be able to drawdown the money. The process was fiddly and frustrating. More importantly, I have no control over what this company (or other companies that own this company in the future) will do with my personal information. The need to upload such personal information is not made clear at outset (when setting up the pot to collect the funds).
This is a major disincentive to use this company, especially when it is so easy for contributors to transfer money directly to one's bank account - anyone can do that within 2 minutes using an app on a mobile phone, plus the contributors then don't have to deal with all the hassle of dodging 'contributions' to Collctiv.
I will be immediately closing my Collctiv account and insisting that all of my personal information is expunged from Collctiv's

User friendly app - very good!
I was recommended this app by a friend. I have found it really useful and easy to use. It also saves giving out bank details. Really easy to share the link in various ways and you can also add a personal touch to the pot that you can create!
