Easy to use, clear instructions to register and set up. Great way to collect from a colleagues spread across the UK and no need to share bank details

I chose Collectiv as it said in black and white that all withdrawals are free.
However have had to last with 20£ as they have deducted it as handling charges.Also the company then calls it a tip on their bill making it seem like it was a voluntary contribution.Never ever using it again.
Edited-The company has got back and reversed the charge taken as tip.They said it was left on by mistake.

I really don't see the point. Apart from not being comfortable uploading driver's license, email and bank account, £3 transfer fee on £50 is pretty steep. Why is this preferable to a good old fashioned bank transfer?

My first experience with Collectiv has been a positive one, using it to pool funds from parents to thank teachers at the end of term. So easy to track and share, with updates when contributions are made, and options for vouchers or transfers.

Easy way to collect money for teachers.

A great way to collect in contributions to a leaving gift. Simply download the app, create the collection pot, share the details with others via a link or QR code and transfer the money into the pot. It’s very easy to set up. Transferring money out requires you to authenticate some details through a scan of some formal ID, which I wasn’t aware of when setting up the pot. I’m not sure how you’d access the money if you didn’t have that ID or a bank account. There is a cost to transfer the money to your bank account immediately but it’s free if you can wait 2/3 days.
I’d like the function to add a note for physical cash contributions. I had two leavers pots to manage with different donations so I still ended up having a paper total of donations. This facility would help to collector keep an up to date total of the donations.
I’d like to be able to thank people who had contributed by creating a short message that automatically emailed or text the contributer. Could this be set up when creating the pots? I’d also like to send a message out, after spending the money, to say what gifts were bought and to include a photo.
Collctiv is great, easy to use, app to reach a wide range of people for collecting in money.
