Had a great and effective discussion with Rory Scott from “compare wealth managers”today . Whilst not signing up for services (simply because I have a SIPP under management already) , I did learn key new info that I will explore with my IFA. Very consultative and positive two way dialogue - thanks Rory

I had a fabulous experience with Rory. He directed to me to all the people I needed to meet. The experience was very informative and fun. In the end, I decided to stay with my current Wealth manager but I now feel very well equipped to deal with future decisions. I can't recommend Rory highly enough for all his advice and support.

I have nothing but praise for the service we received from Compare Wealth Managers. They responded promptly to my initial enquiry, took time to understand my situation and requirements, before recommending a short list of wealth management companies for my review and consideration. I was matched with three companies that Paul felt would be a good fit for me, based on his understanding of my requirements and their approach and service offering. This was incredibly helpful and I am pleased to report that we have opened an account with one of his recommendations. There is no cost or hard sell with this service.

Compare Wealth Managers does was it says and more. Don't make expensive mistakes, just use them. They gave me loads of advice, they really know the market and are great to deal with. A great service.

Thank you for the unsolicited call, your introductionary email descreetly  primed me to expect a call knowingly flouting FCA regulations.
Obviously offering nothing more than most can do for themselves.
Meaningless flowery introductionary click bait from one I presume  boiler room brokers of TMG offering unprofessional run of the mill recommendations followed by a similar smooth talking reply to the  review.
Web page states you are regulated by the FCA but welcome email states your not.

Very misleading and confusing.
Very unprofessional, very bad start even considering maybe I would reconsider using them, how nieve.
If the handling of this review is one example of ensuring high quality client satisfaction then in my opinion Paul you failed unterly miserably.
Advised all my information had been erased but a Comparewealth community chat appeared on my WhatsApp outside of my contacts.

Comparewealthmanager stated on there website that they were regulated by the Finacial Contact Authority
This statement of course could puts into doubt the validity of other claims, these are also being investigated.
I presume maybe to mislead, deceive and instill false confidence in potential clients.
However I've been advised this is not the case but was added not to confuse the reader?
Very reassuring?
The old saying is You can fool some of the people all the time but not all the people all the time even with flowery sweet talking rubbish.
They also flagged my review which was reinstated to be removed even though i asked if anything was incorrect.
Knowing this I would certainly think twice before doing business with them.

Compare Wealth Managers Ltd who are listed as an ‘Appointed Representative’ and their Principal firm is Strata Global Limited and TMG Direct Limited - this means these firms are authorised and regulated by us.

I think CWM is a great product. Rory from CWM gave me a few options which matched really well and put me in contact with them. This really is a complete service as Rory followed up checking progress, and answering my questions. The best thing is that Rory personally knows the people involved and is clearly intimately aware of the services on offer. I also found it reassuring that CWM's fee is fixed across all organistaions they recommend, so there is no bias. An excellent service!

The list included an interesting mix in terms of both size and approach and was helpful in giving me a start to further discussion and diligence. Paul & his team at 'Compare Wealth Managers' provided truly outstanding service when I was in the process of selecting a new Investment Manager for my (resonably susbstantial) portfolio.
Not only did they react very quickly & professionally, but also provided me with an introduction to 3 excellent IM's who in turn provided highly relevant & professional proposals.
I can't recommend Paul & his team highly enough & would have no hesitation in recommending their service to anyone looking for a new Investment Manager.

We needed to assess manager options and benchmark an existing providers offering. Paul provided excellent low hassle introductions to set of three managers to compare to our current provider. All three were very good but two were excellent options - although we concluded to stay with our provider on performance. Excellent service here Paul - thank you and more than happy to recommend.

Nice to use a comparison service that comes without a hard sell. After listening to our requirements, Rory and team gave us a short list of 3 well respected managers to meet with and discuss their proposals. Some of the managers I had not heard of previously but were well suited for the service I was looking for…and without having to suffer all the extra financial planning services I didn’t really need on this occasion.

We worked with Paul to look at changing our wealth managers, and although we chose to go with a personal recommendation after much discussion and many meetings, the service and advice he offered was great, and the managers he recommended were very good and very closely fitted our needs.

I found the service extremely helpful. Finding a company to manage your money is confusing to say the least. I spoke with Paul and was referred to companies that were relevant to me. There was follow up from Compare Wealth Managers at every stage. I would highly recommend using them in your process to find a wealth manager.

Rory has been a great help as I have sought to find a new home for my investment portfolio. He was very diligent at checking in and provided great insight and advice at key moments.

Over the last 6 months I've reviewed my current arrangements and meet potential new providers. While I haven't made a change, I have learned a huge amount and am much more confident in my plans and financial partners. His model works: at no time is anyone under pressure to sell and everyone's incentivised to be open and helpful.

Compare Wealth couldn’t assist me, but I am giving 5 stars because Rory was very upfront that he could not help. He did though share a few thoughts pertinent to my situation. So rare these days to find people who don’t try and baffle you with BS. Hope they do well.
